@gizmo167 I know what you mean. Tablets have stopped me being sick, but the nausea is crippling. Keep saying to myself it’s a good sign with my miscarriages the symptoms were not as bad as this.
Thank god my mum is here to look after DD because I can barely move.
All I’m doing is moaning and I hate being like this, really isn’t me.

Hi all, 10+2 today but haven't posted since the first thread. I thought my sickness and exhaustion was gone as I was feeling much better, but it's back with a vengeance since I hit 10 weeks!! Bring on second tri!

I keep fantasising about new jobs as feeling pretty fed up where I am - but need to stay for the maternity pay and security

I think we just have the same due date 30th Nov? That's a shame your sickness has come back. I deffo feel better since hitting 10weeks. Damn headache is back though!

@Horehound yes we do! 💕 had a scan at 8+2 and it put me at Nov 30th. When's your 12 week scan? Mine's in a few weeks so due date subject to change!!

I had a scan at 6+5 and was bang on 6+5 and also it does tally with my dates but I guess things can be slightly out. Won't matter too much cause I don't think anyone really gives birth on their due date do they?! I was 1week early with my son!
I have my 12 week scan on 18th may so not long now! Eeek

Is anyone else getting days of pure starvation? I'm 7+2 today and eating for the country!!😶

@Cuddles21 Yep - 7+3 and I could eat everything.

Yes @Cuddles21 I am just over 7 and waking up at 5am absolutely starving. Like after you've had a stomach bug and not been able to eat for literally days. I feel very sick if I don't eat every 3 hours. Before pregnancy I did the 16:8 intermittent fasting absolutely fine (just no breakfast), now I literally could not do anything without eating as soon as I wake up. Same late at night. Very weird experience but thanking my lucky stars I'm not actually vomiting...

@Horehound mines on the 21st May so only a few days after you. It's exciting! How far along are you now? From the calculations of the early scan I'm 9 weeks and 5 days.

@TakeYourFinalPosition I got the form and she said as long as you know your due date you can send it off. I need to take some medication they have prescribed me so hopefully it will be here in time to collect that.

@Sair44411 it sounds like you have a great midwife. I would have a felt reassured if mine had spoken to me about those things x

@Shazza86 mine's also May 21st! What did your hospital say about bringing partners? Mine said no partners allowed which seems ridiculous given we'll be allowed in each other's houses by then and the private scan place had no problem with it.

My 12 week scan is also 21st May. They have just lifted the restrictions on partners attending scans apparently so said it’s fine for him to come along. Think it’s really sad for partners if they have to miss it as whether it’s your 1st or 10th baby it’s not only an anxious app but also an amazing one which a parent should not have to miss!

@Shazza86 I'm 10+2 so we are both getting our scans bang on the 12 week date I think.

My first midwife appointment is finally here tomorrow, 9:30am. It's at my doctors surgery, no idea how long it's scheduled to be! I'll be 8+2

Then our private early scan is Sat pm!

Does anyone know if you get the letter after you’ve booked in or before? I can’t remember what happened last time!

Letter for your 12 week scan * is what I meant to say!

@tuxedocat I am using an online portal for my notes etc and all my appointments and scans just get out in there for me to see, don't get any letters!

@Wiltshire90 @jdr1234 Well what an exciting day for us all! I have to wait until 4pm for mine.

We are allowed to take partners where I live, that's so strange that yours still isn't allowing that!

@horehound yes bang on really. The midwife thinks I'm 10 weeks today, but they only work out the date with a 28 day cycle and I'm 31 days so I don't think that's correct.

@tuxedocat my letter came 6 days after my booking in appointment, but there was a weekend and Bank Holiday in between so yours may come quicker.

@Wiltshire90 just wanted to say thank you for your comment, I hadn't read my letter properly for my scan on 24th may and it also says no partners. I'm devastated, I've been a wreck these past few weeks with the hormones and worry (plus underlying anxiety issues) and hate the thought of going alone

My letter came a week before my booking appointment! But I'm shocked tbh and so was the midwife lol.

@tuxedocat my scan letter last time came after booking in and I've got booking in appt tomorrow morning so expect it will be the same and I'll hopefully get it next week. Xx

@Shazza86 docs also just going off my lmp, putting me at 8+6, but I know I ovulated late cd20, so was likely in for a 33 day cycle, so I'm putting myself at 8+1

Guess I won't say anything to the midwife tomorrow, because it would just push 12 week scan back

My booklet I got posted say have to attend scans alone, father allowed in at birth but must leave 2 hours after birth. But I'm hoping things change by Dec. If he's not allowed 12 week scan we'll get another private one!

Thanks all. I’m not expecting it anytime soon but was wondering how quickly they’d send it out as last week I had my booking in at 8weeks not 10weeks.
Might have to look at doing a NIPT test as I read my trust have reduced capability on testing at the moment 😣

I’m trying to wait until next week for an early scan which will be just about 8 weeks incase my dates are off 🤞🏻

For those where the letter says no partner it’s worth checking with your midwife/hospital as in our trust it says no partners but they are allowed, the letter just hasn’t been updated! They’ve got a Facebook page which they say what is currently allowed which is helpful
