Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

@Ruthsoph I'm only 6weeks but I had sickness with my first 2 all the way up until I gave birth.

Regarding measurements and dates I had my due date changed 3 times with my first I think it's just harder to date before 12 weeks!

willithappen · 28/05/2021 09:01

@marnh18 very easy for me to say this now but I know that even when loads of people told me this before I still had panic.

I only had the 7 week scan as this is an IVF pregnancy and they scan for viability to discharge you. That had me measuring 6+1 and I worried about potential miscarriage as 6 days felt a lot to be out by. They advised me to book a private one so I did just to see growth.

But everyone, including clinic, has told me that it's really hard to date this early and be accurate. Baby is so small, mine is a centimetre and a half right now so really small.

Hi ladies

Had my first blood test/urine test today but just before they were about to start taking samples i mentioned I’d had the tiniest bit of brown/pink discharge (if you had bad eyes you wouldn’t have noticed). So everything stopped. They’ve booked me in for an early scan again just to double check. I wasn’t worried but now I am!

Long weekend of waiting before Tuesday’s scan! X

1986mum · 28/05/2021 13:16

I’ve not posted on here for a couple of weeks had a few issues with bleeding but everything is good now 🤞 I say good but my god , I’m so tired, constantly feeling nauseous but constantly starving... is that even normal?! Loved reading through all your ladies journeys so far hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend ❤️

osmo18 · 28/05/2021 13:38

Hi Everyone, my appointment with the midwife this week got cancelled and I was told that someone would be in contact with me before the weekend to rebook back in. I haven't heard anything at all this week and wondered if I should phone the GP or just wait it out for them to contact me with a new appointment? Panicking especially as I have opted for testing which they say should be done before 10 weeks which only gives me a weeks window to get them done?

Bladette84 · 28/05/2021 13:44

Anyone here managing to exercise still? Before we started our IVF cycle, I was running and doing Pilates. At the minute, I’m so tired, the most I can manage is a walk every few days 😩

penny92 · 28/05/2021 14:44

@Bladette84 I was running too, 10-15 miles a week before - plus lots of strength training. As soon as I found out I was pregnant my exercise levels totally tanked, not helped by the recent bad weather.

Only in the last 10 days or so have I been going to a few spinning classes and getting back out on longer walks, and doing some home workouts.

Such a challenge with the fatigue.

Bladette84 · 28/05/2021 15:23

@penny92 I’m hoping to get back to Pilates soon just to try and get some of my exercise routine back!

osmo18 · 28/05/2021 16:29

@Bladette84 I'm managing 2 gym sessions each week with my personal trainer. Pre pregnancy I was doing 5 but just lack the motivation and energy at the moment so trying to do 2 sessions and then long walks whenever the weather is dry

Missingcoffee22 · 28/05/2021 18:05

I'm doing rubbish at exercise. 2 sessions a week. I was struggling with lockdown exercise anyway (my gym was at work and still isn't open), and with being tired and nauseous any last motivation to do online classes is leaving me 😭 i was a lot more active first pregnancy, although I do remember 1st trimester being really hard to exercise through still.

I'd probably get in touch to check. Doesn't hurt to ask!
MrsRyan15 · 28/05/2021 18:10

Booking appointment done ✔ I'm classed as high risk, but that's no surprise with various complications last time and DD being born at 35 weeks.

Makes it feel more real and only weeks until my scan.

Hows everyone else doing?

The thought of trying to get my sports bra on is not a fun one 😂
Giraffe888 · 28/05/2021 18:28

I feel lousy. Usual pregnancy ill feelings then I’ve had a really heavy cold since Sunday which has just been getting worse each day. Woke up this morning and the left side of my face is so tender and achy. Rang the GP and she said it’s sinusitis. I feel rubbish.

I’m lacking in exercise too. Feel too sick on a morning and too tired on a night!

Missingcoffee22 · 28/05/2021 18:32

@Bladette84 oh yeah I had to get bigger ones last time!

LilmissCa · 28/05/2021 21:42

@Babynum2 has your sickness settled?
I was pretty bad last weekend & struggling to drink never mind eat, ended up in a&e on a drip on Tuesday night, diagnosed with hyperemesis & now on numerous anti sickness tabs & antiacid.
Really hope it's not HG you have but just don't let yourself get dehydrated.. chat to your GP if you are still not great.

ttcisnteasy · 28/05/2021 21:52

Can I join I'm due in Jan 2022 also if everything goes according to plan lol I have pcos so this is beyond exciting and scary 😂

Babynum2 · 28/05/2021 23:30

@MrsRyan15 welcome to the high risk club! I had 2 previous high risk pregnancies too with a 36 then 34 week-er!

Babynum2 · 28/05/2021 23:31

@LilmissCa no it hasn't yet its really strange the only time I don't feel sick is when in actually eating or drinking. I haven't drunk so much in all my life!

LilmissCa · 29/05/2021 09:31

@Babynum2 that's great your drinking more! The rest still no doubt doesn't feel great but at least your not getting dehydrated

PheebsJ · 29/05/2021 13:34

Hi ladies, congratulations to you all, I’m 7 weeks and found out at a private scan a few days ago that it’s twins! So technically due on the 12th Jan but will deliver earlier than that due to it being twins. Over the moon though a bit nervous as I have a 6 month old so once they arrive I’ll have a 1 year old and 2 newborns 😅

Ya91 · 29/05/2021 19:03

Congratulations on the twins @PheebsJ did you have any feeling it was twins? Or was it a shock!

PheebsJ · 30/05/2021 16:36

Thank you! No I was very shocked, I’m actually a twin myself so it was always a possibility but didn’t think I’d have twins myself 😂

penny92 · 30/05/2021 21:27
