Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

I've been having period cramps qnd lower back ache on and off since I got my BFP - I had my booking apt with midwife on Friday and she said its completely normal to be crampy/feed pressure as long as they arent stopping you going about your daily activities
Mummabear1987 · 23/05/2021 10:43

Thank you. I dont know why I'm so worried. This little beansprout was a surprise. But now I know I'm desperate for it to grow big and strong and join my family.

BunBunMum · 23/05/2021 10:57

@Mummabear1987 I’ve been having twinges too - sometimes lasting a bit longer like period pain. I remember the same from my previous pregnancies though x

Random post... i've just bought a bottle of ice cold Lilt and oh my god it is quite possibly the best thing I have ever tasted.

The thirst and queasiness are ridiculous at the minute but this is hitting the spot.

Hope everyone is doing OK x

Hi everyone!
Got my positive last week, think I’m 5 weeks along. Feeling nervous but excited! I’ve booked a scan for when I’m just about 8 weeks, looking forward to some reassurance!

I’ve got a little boy who is 4. With that pregnancy I had a few bleeds and trips to the EPU. Similar to previous poster they did a scan and thought the dates were wrong or he might not be growing but everything went swimmingly and my pregnancy ended up going great.
Hope you’re all well. Enjoying reading the comments from everyone and hopefully will be added to fb group too xx

Hi ladies

Had my 6+3 scan today and saw a little heart beat. So over the moon!

The sonographer didn’t let us stay on cloud 9 for long though as she spotted multiple large cysts on my right ovary. Some bigger than 5cm. Has anybody heard of this?

She was asking if I was in pain (no) on medication for them (no didn’t know they were there) and asked me to tell my midwife at my next appointment. Can’t help but worry now!

Any advice would be really appreciated xxx

@Barbs96

Hello, 6w4d here, had an early scan on the weekend where a heartbeat was visible, baby measuring at 3mm. I've had some intense cramping last wednesday and yesterday which i assumed was constipated related. Har brown discharge from last week but this morning was red but only when i wipe. They did notice a bleed but i was told should come out but as brown discharge. Anyone else experiencing the same? A bit worried. Might do a clearblue test and see if it still shows 3+ weeks
Hey, hope you don't mind me asking was your scan internal or on your tummy? I had a abdominal measuring 3.7mm but no heartbeat could be seen yet but was reassured that's normal apparently x
L1ttleb1t · 23/05/2021 20:05

Hey ladies.

Am I being silly - after days of nausea tonight I suddenly feel almost normal. It's making me worried it's a bad sign. I'm 4+6... I'm not prone to anxiety it's just a sudden change.

Anyone else had this?

Congrats on seeing the little heart beat - fab news.

I don't know about ovarian cysts but hopefully it's something that won't affect the baby. I found this article that seems reassuring....

@MrsRyan15 I've just discovered vimto and fizzy water 🥳. Really hits the spot. But lilt is going straight on my shopping list for this week! 😂

Ralala · 23/05/2021 20:48

Fanta lemon ! Ice cold from the fridge. Absolute life saver

cherrypiepie · 23/05/2021 21:09

Found out today due 24.1.2022!

It's my first after 4 years TTC and 2 losses at 12 weeks. We have ivf appointment booked in two weeks time and I just lost 2 stone for the referral.

Terrified is will lose another baby. Also annoyed with myself as mistook implantation bleed for a period. So could have had progesterone for a week longer!!. I did a random test today after a spot of blood.

I'm scared confused and excited.

Mama2be2022 · 23/05/2021 21:24

Haven't yet seen or heard from my midwife, expecting a call tomorrow, but apps show me to be 4weeks 4days. Haven't really had any symptoms so far apart from being a little bloated a couple weeks back and very tired towards the evening. But seems the sore, heavy breasts are starting tonight! Strange to say, but it's made me happy to actually feel something!

NightDreaming · 23/05/2021 21:35

I’m living off ginger beer, fizzy water, and sweets. Hope that doesn’t last too long as I’m sure I’ll regret the sugar intake later down the line. But for now they are the only things that calm the sickness.

itsmeoverhere · 23/05/2021 23:35

Hi everyone, please allow me to join, I got my BFP last Sunday, I am 5 weeks 3 days & it still feels abit surreal at the moment, I had a cp in September so trying not to get too excited but super thrilled to have you guys to talk to as I don't think I will share with anyone outside immediate family until my 12 week scan, if there is a Facebook page please could someone send me the link? Congrats to everyone and looking forward to getting to know you all over the next few months Smile

MrsFLongbottom · 24/05/2021 08:07

@L1ttleb1t My experience is a bit different to yours but in my first pregnancy at my 12w scan they found a late cyst (8x6x5cm) on my right ovary- but they diagnosed it as a dermoid cyst rather than a fluid filled one. At my follow up with consultant yet said it was common to have some fluid filled cysts as I also have a couple on my other ovary, although smaller than yours.

For me they just kept track of it during pregnancy and then I had it removed during my emergency section, but if I’d had a vaginal delivery I’d have had it removed at a later date due to the type of cyst. None of them caused me problems during pregnancy, although I did have one large unexplained bleed early on but they didn’t seem to think it was related.

Ask all the questions you want to at your appointments and if you’re worried ask for a referral for a consultant appointment Smile

Hi ladies in the waiting room for my early scan for dating and check on the cramps and thought I would check in with you. If you have any worries don't feel silly calling your doctor or the early pregnancy advice line as the nurse just told me! Thought I would share that all with you x

Hope it all goes well! Very good advice for us all to remember x
HforHavana · 24/05/2021 12:38

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and thought I'd escaped the symptoms bar the sore boobs, but yesterday and today it has hit me like a ton of bricks!
I feel absolutely awful and the nausea is constant.

It was my birthday on Saturday and I went out with a few friends who were all drinking (I was designated driver!), and I felt like I took the hangover for all of them combined I felt that bad!

Hoping it subsides soon as I don't think DP can cope with hearing the words 'I feel awful' for much longer Grin

BunBunMum · 24/05/2021 14:14

Hope the scan went well @Babynum2. I’ve got an early scan booked on Thursday & I’m so nervous....almost as nervous as I am about telling my boss that I’m pregnant again 😬

I was meant to have my covid vaccine today but got talked out of it by the GP on duty as he wanted me to speak to my midwife at my booking appointment and/or wait until I’m over 12 weeks as I’m low risk otherwise...but disappointing and I now need to lie to some people pretending that I’ve had it 😬😩

talkinghead84 · 24/05/2021 14:21

I found out Thursday - only managed 1 period after my miscarriage in March. Happy but anxious (and incredibly moody) this time. My due date is 27 of Jan 2022

Babynum2 · 24/05/2021 14:39

@BunBunMum thanks it went fine I'm 5weeks due date 22nd Jan but have to go back at 8weeks because they don't pick up a heart beat until 7weeks-ish so although they have seen a sac and ruled out ectopic its still early days!
