@AnxiousAnnie86 @airrrr @Sitchervice all beautiful names! We chose not to tell anyone because of all the 'why would you call him that' or 'thats the name of the boy that made my life miserable at school' etc etc etc. I just feel like when I plonk him in front of someone and go 'his name is Gabriel' people wouldn't react in such a way in front of him!

@Nesski yeah! We won't be telling anyone at all until she's here and we decide what she looks like! We know family won't like juniper, so if we decide that's what she is then they will just be introduced to her as x

I understand what you mean about keeping it to your self though. Some people can't keep opinions to them selves.

Raspberry leaf tea tastes awlful

@Sitchervice oh no! I've just bought some! 😂

37 + 2 and everything is aching. Baby is engaged and sometimes feels like it's trying to punch it's way out! No signs of anything happening yet.

My tea tastes lovely! It’s mixed with peppermint. But I’ve started taking the tablets cos I forget to drink it.

@Sitchervice oooh I really like raspberry tea, I used to drink it when TTC! Is is just for natural labour raspberry? I'm having a c section so am I best not drinking it??? X

@AnxiousAnnie86 it dosnt taste like raspberries though 😭

Raspberry leaf tea really grows on you! Give it a good chance.

@AlRRRR yes definitely, I'll be 36 weeks on Tuesday, struggling with tiredness which isn't ideal as have so much to do around the house and worried that OH won't get it done so it's stressing me , finding it hard to sleep at night and feel blue every second day or so but think it's because I'm stuck at home and don't see many people or anywhere so feeling right sorry my myself 🤣🙈

Pregnancy ball question, I was told by midwife to try and do about 3 hours a day on the ball from 36 weeks on, now in fairness I have the time to do it but hard to find the motivation 🙈 anyone else the same ?

@TerryRose Yes the tiredness is real 🤣🤣🤣 I have a 4 yr old and just started doing the school runs in the car and it’s only a 10 mins walk there but the pubic bone pain is just not nice 🤣🤣🤣

Pregnancy ball, not heard of it and won’t be bothering either, with living alone with a 4 yr old, being 34 weeks pregnant and working, I just can’t be arsed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@TerryRose 3 hours?! What are you meant to do on it for 3 hours? I sit on mine now and then throughout the day and try and spend 20 mins or so in the evenings doing some hip rotation type of exercises but that’s it!

@swiftt I was taken aback as well 🤣 she said to put a movie on Netflix 🤣🙈 I get about an hour a day done but spaced out into 20 mins , like I find it comfortable but just tiring

Wee baby girl born at 35+2 after PPROM at 34+6! No SCBU needed, she's a little trooper.

It all kicked off here last night!

I went purple. I’m talking violet beauregarde from Charlie and the choc factory.
I called the midwife, she wasn’t fussed- told me to ring 111. 111 were too busy and kept banging on about tooth pain and covid, so My OH rang one of the GP’s he works with and explained the situation. The GP suggested that as I’m 36 weeks pregnant and there’s clearly a blood flow issue, ring 999 and ask for assistance.
Somewhere along the line, wires get crossed and my front room is invaded by a first responder ambulance and a cardiac team who were fairly happy to see I wasn’t passed out on the floor! They checked me over (I seem to be fine) then they call the midwife back to see if I need to go in to have baby checked...midwife is still not fussed. Awesome.
Pic is of normal coloured leg next to a purple one after I rubbed it for 10 mins, as soon as I moved, it went purple again.
Seeing a consultant this morning anyway so I shall be telling her all of this.

@Waitingforbabypage yes I would definitely mention it!! I have noticed if I sit with my legs crossed this seems to happen! But as soon as I move it or rub it it goes back to normal? Best to get it checked out! Is there any swelling at all? X
