Would anyone like to Join me for some support in these early stages and to discuss symptoms.

I am age 30 and this little one is #2. I had a mmc at 12 weeks a few years ago so naturally worried this time. Also have PSOS.

Due date of 21st December 2021. Currently feeling mild tiredness, small cramps and slight nausea although I'm saying bring on the symptoms.

@HPmagic
I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. Is it spotting?
How are you feeling apart from that?

HPmagic · 28/04/2021 18:01

Yea spotting, I still feel tired and nauseous, boobs still sore. No cramping yet.

Hi all. First pregnancy here and edd of 23rd December. Other than tiredness no real symptoms, boobs hurt when squeezed (so I've not been squeezing them) and on Saturday the thought of chocolate knocked me sick but that seems to be ok now.

catlady1234 · 28/04/2021 23:01

@PeanuttyButter
Hi, how are things?
We are only a due day apart! When did you test positive?
Is this your first pregnancy experience? How have your symptoms been?

HolyShmoly · 02/05/2021 22:34

Unfortunately it wasn't to be for us this time. Good luck to you all, wishing you all safe and uncomplicated journeys.

HPmagic · 03/05/2021 09:31

@HolyShmoly Sorry to hear this, how are you feeling at the moment. I had a bleed last week and have a private scan booked tonight, which I'm worried about. My symptoms are coming and going. Thanks

HolyShmoly · 03/05/2021 09:58

Thanks @HPmagic I'm ok, I've had what can be best described as a bad period (heavier and longer bleeding with ongoing mild to moderate cramps) since Wednesday night so it's fairly obvious what's happening but can be managed at home. I haven't actually spoken to the midwife yet. I'm just hoping it wraps up soon so we can get back to it.

islysmum · 04/05/2021 19:02

@lottie198 congratulations!! I'm due 26th Dec with my first and like you I'm very wary. Symptoms seem to come and go main one is nausea and food aversions which is weird for me as I love my food!!! Plus I'm constantly knackered but all worth it. How are you feeling today?

Tryingandhopeful · 04/05/2021 19:35

How are you getting on @HPmagic and @catlady1234? Did you have your scans?

catlady1234 · 04/05/2021 21:13

Hi @Tryingandhopeful, I had a scan on Friday were they dated me at 5w6d- they said the scan was as good as expected at this stage and we saw a heartbeat.
The nhs have offered me another scan at 9 weeks because of my fertility history. I'm counting down the days 😬

How are you doing?

Tryingandhopeful · 04/05/2021 21:29

@catlady1234 aww yay that’s great news!! That’s really nice to see especially after everything you’ve been through!! I bet you’re counting down the days!! I am too!! I have another scan in a couple of weeks! I’m just a bit behind you at 5w3days and they only saw sac and yolk this morning, and have a corpus luteum cyst which they said isn’t concerning and quite normal! Just hoping little bean progresses and we see a heartbeat at the next scan!! Going to be the longest 2 weeks!!

catlady1234 · 04/05/2021 21:39

@Tryingandhopeful the wait is a killer, isn't it! I'm working from home atm and keeping off google is an hourly challenge. I need to be busy and distracted.
From our scan date, our due date is Christmas Day 🙈

How are you feeling? Any symptoms? Have you had any morning sickness?

Chip22 · 05/05/2021 17:35

Hi everyone!

Can I join please? I’m 6+4 with number 2 today, EDD Christmas Day Confused Ironically the same as my birthday! Stupid me looked at my LMP date and decided that LMP 20th March would mean EDD 20th December... Was hoping for an ELCS anyway since number 1 was a CS which will hopefully have the additional benefit of avoiding a Christmas birthday for this poor little sprog too!

Hope you’re all well and not suffering too much! I’m already feeling really nauseous even with cyclizine :(

HPmagic · 05/05/2021 21:44

Hi everyone

Yes I had my scan and everything was ok, heartbeat seen and measuring 6 + 5 today, no reason for bleeding could be found

Tryingandhopeful · 06/05/2021 11:34

@catlady1234 I know I’m a serial Googler too 🙈 need to keep away from it!! Have you got anything nice planned to keep you distracted? Christmas Day baby is so exciting 😊 I’m not doing too bad symptoms-wise, just feeling exhausted, extreme hunger and sore nipples!! How about you? I’ve heard morning sickness can start just after 6 weeks so it may come on soon 🙈

@HPmagic aww yay that’s wonderful news!! So pleased little baby is ok and you got to see the heartbeat!! Are you still bleeding or was it a one off?

climbershell · 09/05/2021 16:36

I'm due 14th Dec, had an early private scan yesterday and saw little legs and arms and heart beating, which lady said was strong 😁 only 1 friend knows, but we're visiting my dad in 2 weeks and will tell him then ☺

However I've had non stop all day nausea for the past 2 weeks. Last week I was in tears nearly every day because of how horrendous I feel. Just had another sob, totally fed up! I've done nothing this weekend but a short potter in the garden today, I'm so so bored (& normally someone who never sits still) but feel too crappy to do anything. Even cancelled seeing my friend as couldn't face conversation

I know for some the nausea eases off at week 9,but it's more comments to be the peak week. From week 5 I was going to bed at 21:30, but this last week my bedtime is now 21:00!

PeanuttyButter · 09/05/2021 20:59

Sorry @catlady1234 only just seen this message for some reason it didn't tell me that I'd been replied to.
I'm 7 weeks today, had all day nausea for 2 days straight now so far manageable but hoping it doesn't get much worse. Bit of cramping today too but no spotting since about 4 weeks. Today I've officially missed 2 periods too which is surreal where the time has gone. I get moments where I can't stop thinking (and fretting) about the fact I'm pregnant, then moments where it's like nothing has changed. How are you getting on?

catlady1234 · 12/05/2021 11:04

Hi @PeanuttyButter and @Tryingandhopeful, how are you both getting on?

Iv been feeling nauseous on and off, but not been sick at all. Im tired all the time, have sore nipples and lots of headaches. I also feel really wet downstairs- I keep worrying it's bleeding, but it's just clear.

Iv got another scan on the 21/05. I know it's not long but every day is dragging atm. I can't wait to see if the baby is okay. Because of my history I'm really anxious about a missed miscarriage.

Apart from my scans I haven't got any other appointments booked. Have you seen a midwife or anything? This is my first so I'm not sure how it all works 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

Tryingandhopeful · 12/05/2021 20:26

@catlady1234 I have everything you’ve mentioned bar the nausea! I spoke to my midwife about the extra discharge as I’ve had lots too and she reassured me it’s very normal and it’s way of protecting vagina and baby!! You should have a booking in appointment with your midwife around 8 weeks? Have you mentioned it to your GP? I had mine a bit earlier as they’ve gone from my LMP!

My next scan is next Thursday and I feel like the days are dragging too!!! I’m so impatient!! I just want to know if our little bean is there and has a heartbeat as last time we only saw sac and yolk!! I can imagine you’re feeling anxious based on past experiences, I hope everything is ok with your little baby!! I’m sure it is, you’ve got lots of positive symptoms! Have you got nice things to distract yourself this weekend?

PeanuttyButter · 12/05/2021 21:14

@catlady1234 I'm the same symptom wise had nausea pretty much all day everyday for about a week now. Not been sick yet and hopefully I won't. Had loads of bloating and wind and same as you lots of wetness. Not had any scans and none booked. Got my booking apt with midwife at 9+1 and I'm currently 7+3 so all seems ages away. Had some cramping today which I'm hoping is normal... Fingers crossed. Glad all are well xx

Babycakes39 · 12/05/2021 21:19

I had a scan last week at just over 9 weeks. Starting to look like a baby now! 🥰😍 Due 4.12.

HPmagic · 13/05/2021 19:28

@Babycakes39 that's amazing so exciting and reassuring also.

I am 8 weeks tomorrow, I'm coping ok with the tiredness but I'm nauseous a lot which makes me feel drained and I'll but then mood swings I am having are wild, I actually cried in work for the first time ever and I'm not even a crier just from being overwhelmed.

catlady1234 · 13/05/2021 20:36

Hi @Tryingandhopeful,
I think there has been some confusion with the midwife appointments because of my nhs scans. They said to wait until after my next scan- which has kind of made me paranoid. Now I'm worried that they saw something at the scan that they didn't tell us. At 6 weeks they said it was the best they could expect, with a heartbeat. Maybe people don't normally get a 9 week scan unless something is wrong?! I don't know 🙈 iv got my next scan next Friday, I can't wait to see if it's okay.

How far will you be at your next scan?

How are your moods feeling? I didn't realise I could hate everything my boyfriend does 🤣🙈 poor guy x

catlady1234 · 13/05/2021 20:40

Hi @PeanuttyButter, how are you doing?

Are you going wait for your scan at 12 weeks? You are soo good. I'm tempted to book a private scan in the 3 week gaps between my nhs ones 🙈 I'm just soo desperate to get some reassurance.

Did your cramping stop? X
