Hello ladies,
So I thought I'd put together a new thread for us (as you've probably seen in the main group). I thought this could be like a sub group (or side car as Haiyaa suggested) so we can chat about all things pregnancy without feeling that maybe we're overwhelming the TTC board.

I definitely don't want to leave the main bus and I know you all feel the same as we've created a amazing community of women supporting women... most people have said their ok with pregnancy chat but I know some are struggling with it and the shift in proportion of TTC vs BFPs, and we all know how hard it is to see too much pregnancy talk sometimes, especially if the journey has been long, as it has been for some. So I thought, lets be sensative to everyone's needs and have another option Flowers

I'm cautious about setting up a bus given I'm so so early but as I suggested it, I thought it best come from me Smile I am happy to set up the threads but I dont have a great urge to be the bus driver (haha) so if anyone else wants to chip in setting up subseqeunt buses then I'd be happy yo share the responsibility!

Please tag anyone that I may have missed - I tried to go through the board to get any recent BFPs but I could have missed someone easily and theres ALOT haha.

Let's have a little update on everyone to get started...

@Justanothercyster fair enough but do share if you do pee on one 👍 😆 are you holding off a bit longer before sharing the news with more people? 12 weeks seems like a nice place to be with the first scan, sickness easing and not too big and uncomfortable yet haha.

Justanothercyster · 27/04/2021 18:15

@Hopeful110 aww yay for the digi result! That's awesome news 🌈💛

@2020mission we're slowly telling close friends and family over the course of this week, so I told my dad and an aunt yesterday, telling dh's four siblings and grandad today, then my Nan and other aunt tomorrow. Whilst packing up the house and living in squalor 😂 it's lovely hearing everyone's reactions in person 😍 we'll do an online "announcement" later this week as I promised myself I would be honest about how difficult it's been and share with others a long time ago.

Kirky658 · 27/04/2021 18:36

@hopeful110 woop that's good news ❤️
@justanothercyster lovely that you're starting to share your news, i honestly didn't feel like it was real till I did my Facebook post! Then I felt dead unhappy because I felt like the big announcements were all over (engaged, got married, having baby) but I now realise we have so many more exciting things to come xx

Minster2012 · 27/04/2021 20:18

@Justanothercyster taking it easy now 🤗promise, floor fixed now, 7 hours later & that's not exaggeration!🤣I mean at least it took my kind off the test results 😬and yayyyyy to telling ppl, you deserve it so much 😘

@Hopeful110 that's awesome! Don't do what i did 😬🤞🏻🌈

@Kirky658 you wait til you flood your Facebook with lots of baby /child pics 🤣

Kirky658 · 27/04/2021 20:29

@minster2012 hahaha deffo!

So great evening in our house. Dog threw up all over the carpet! And almost made me sick too. Fun fun fun!

Justanothercyster · 27/04/2021 21:03

@Kirky658 lots of exciting things for sure, we're all so very lucky aren't we this year 💕 and noooo! Not an ideal evening!

@Minster2012 ah I bet you're glad it's finished though, I saw the pics on the other thread looks good! Love how ds is just casually lying there 😂 I thought the piece of furniture was pinning him down at first and had to do a double take! Good you're resting now :)

Kirky658 · 27/04/2021 21:09

@justanothercyster this is he now, completely flat out. Think it will be time for a vets trip soon sadly as he seems to regurgitate his foot at least twice a week 🙄 googling, seems it can be a common thing in miniature schnauzers (he's half) x

Minster2012 · 27/04/2021 22:29

@Kirky658 your dog is naughty! Urgh I hate sick!

@Justanothercyster the floor I'm so pleased with but honestly it's like an ice skating rink now from the wax, it's treacherous 🤣.DS often just "lies around" but with more vigour, usually it's throwing a tantrum though 😬

Minster2012 · 27/04/2021 22:31

Regurgitate his foot @Kirky658?!! I'm mean if he's eating his foot no wonder he's being sick 🤣food I'm guessing. I used to dog sit a standard schnauzer & he would never have wasted good food by throwing it up, he was the greediest dog ever (& I know a lot of labradors!)

Kirky658 · 28/04/2021 06:18

@minster2012 good old typos 😂😂😂😂

Justanothercyster · 28/04/2021 06:40

@Kirky658 aww no, I hope they can sort him out nicely

@Minster2012 oh god well just be careful 😂

Kirky658 · 28/04/2021 08:48

@justanothercyster me too!

So it's scan day ladies... How the hell am I gonna stay focused on work till 2:30 😂

2020mission · 28/04/2021 09:12

Ohh @Kirky658 exciting! Yeah i think it's safe to say a productive day at work is not on the cards today 😆 are you hoping to find out the sex?

Kirky658 · 28/04/2021 10:12

@2020mission yep hopefully if baby cooperates haha he/she was a wriggle bum last time! I just managed to host a 45 minute virtual training session so that's kinda me done I reckon 😅

Minster2012 · 28/04/2021 11:53

@Kirky658 you just don't stay focused. It's impossible.

So the midwife called me today to introduce herself and I had a cry to her about yesterday's test & being scared. She was so lovely. I asked if they could do hcg bloods and they can't 😭

SIL is being lovely and trying to rest my mind. It kinda makes me want to tell MIL but I'm scared

It's cleaning and primping day for the house for me today before pictures tomorrow & giving details for the write up, I walked the dogs past the new house this morning, was lovely. Gotta stay positive

Kirky658 · 28/04/2021 11:56

@minster2012 oh lovely just want to give you a big hug. Glad your midwife is nice too that always helps so much! Exciting walking past the house too bet that felt awesome x

2020mission · 28/04/2021 12:02

@Minster2012 aww it's annoying they won't do bloods but I'm glad the midwife is nice. Maybe it's a good sign that they obviously have no concerns to make them agree to do bloods. Have you stepped away from tests for now? I used the last digital this morning so I'm left with only cheapies and I'm stopping now as I don't want to see them get fainter as hCG gets too high. Such a minefield. Have to just keep hopeful and keep going!

Minster2012 · 28/04/2021 13:06

@2020mission yes I'm not testing again I'm trying to get through to the end of next week and see how I feel then book a scan

DJmum83 · 28/04/2021 17:16

@Kirky658 hope all went ok with scan today.

I'm still just waiting for my NIPT Test to come back hopefully Friday,
I'm flat out at work think I'm going to have to drop the double shifts they kill me.

How's everyone else doing?
Think I'm seeing the consultant next week hoping he might scan me and tell me gender. I wasn't going to find out but have devised I would like to xx

Kirky658 · 28/04/2021 17:19

Hi ladies!
Lovely, happy, healthy, wriggly little bubba.... And we are having a little girl ❤️😍

DJmum83 · 28/04/2021 17:34

Aww wonderful news @Kirky658 girls are lovely xx

2020mission · 28/04/2021 19:24

@DJmum83 hopefully you go get your results before the weekend it must be so stressful waiting!

@Kirky658 aww lovely scan photo! Is there any issues with having an anterior placenta? Time to decide on a girl name then 😃

Kirky658 · 28/04/2021 19:33

@djmum83 thanks lovely we are so chuffed. Never seen DH so happy since our wedding day!
@2020mission nah it's no issue really just means I might feel movement a bit later than normal as it cushions the kicks as it's at the front x

Justanothercyster · 28/04/2021 19:52

We got our Downs Syndrome, Pataus and Edwards results, all very low risk so I finally feel relaxed - ish. And our house completed today! Yay!

@Minster2012 oh bless you 💕 I'm glad you opened up to her. Like you said stay positive although I know that's very hard!

@DJmum83 try and take it easy if you can, listen to your body x

@Kirky658 awww glad it went well, a little girl! Lovely. I have an anterior placenta too apparently. So happy for you 😍

2020mission · 28/04/2021 19:57

Ohh that's great @Justanothercyster I didn't realise you got those tests back just after the 12 week scan. It's a happy time right now 😃
