Hello ladies,
So I thought I'd put together a new thread for us (as you've probably seen in the main group). I thought this could be like a sub group (or side car as Haiyaa suggested) so we can chat about all things pregnancy without feeling that maybe we're overwhelming the TTC board.

I definitely don't want to leave the main bus and I know you all feel the same as we've created a amazing community of women supporting women... most people have said their ok with pregnancy chat but I know some are struggling with it and the shift in proportion of TTC vs BFPs, and we all know how hard it is to see too much pregnancy talk sometimes, especially if the journey has been long, as it has been for some. So I thought, lets be sensative to everyone's needs and have another option

I'm cautious about setting up a bus given I'm so so early but as I suggested it, I thought it best come from me I am happy to set up the threads but I dont have a great urge to be the bus driver (haha) so if anyone else wants to chip in setting up subseqeunt buses then I'd be happy yo share the responsibility!

Please tag anyone that I may have missed - I tried to go through the board to get any recent BFPs but I could have missed someone easily and theres ALOT haha.

This is stronger than the other one I did but that was on the 17th but I got 2/3 weeks on 18th

@minster2012 I know it's easier said than done but please try not to worry about the weeks indicator.. You're still pregnant! They measure for a specific level of hormones to work out the weeks since conception. So you might have conceived slightly later than you thought you did or even be just on the cusp of the 3+. That's a blazing line so very promosing xx

@minster2012 oh hun I know the freak out. Try to stay as calm as possible. Like @kirky685 said its all down to hormone levels and there's so much variation in that for every person, it doesn't mean things aren't going right. I bet you're just on the cusp of 3+... Your other test is such a good string line, use that to keep the faith 🌈

@Minster2012 give it another few days lovely like @kirky658 said, its a huge from the 2-3 with to 3+ threshold. Thats a blazing positive on the ic one too! Stay positive 😘 xx

@Minster2012 try not to worry it's only just days after 21 DPO I think everyone's hCG increases at a different rate and it's also down to how diluted your urine is. It's torture these early days just waiting for test progress isn't it?!

In other news I am freaking out about my scan tomorrow. I don't mind about the gender in the slightest, just want a happy healthy baby. Keep having nightmares about the scan! Everyone keeps telling me to enjoy it and look forward to it but two of my friends had problems with their scans so I can't help but assume the worst 😣

@Kirky658 what are we like?! Why can't we be like my SIL who is like "bam I'm pregnant again, did 2 tests not worry about it Cos it's done, 2 weeks later being sick so 'must be ok'" oh to be in those shoes 😭

@Minster2012 There's a chance you've got to the point where the hook effect is kicking in @lucyrp recommended stopping testing around 25 DPO I think as they never progressed from then on?

What's the hook effect @2020mission?

@Minster2012 like @2020mission said I did advise to stop testing from around 26dpo as my lines started to get lighter from then on. I got my 2-3 at 17dpo and my 3+ at 22dpo but I'm unsure of when 1-2 was as I never tested with a digital that early

Yeah @lucyrp it's not that far yet, 24 days since static smile but I got ewcm 2 days later so it's def not that far

@Minster2012 when hCG gets really high it can start to show fainter tests eventually reaching a negative! I used an old First Response Rapid Result this morning (is it fake or is this what the FRRR ones should look like)? I had accidentally bought them months ago when meaning to by the FRER. It's showing an almost invisible test line. If anyone who just bought a pregnancy test on a whim at this point who had an accident and wasn't TTC and saw these results it would mess them up as it looks negative but it's just the opposite way around. The test has no marker on it either to indicate what it means 😐. I'm 20 DPO. I think I'll use the digital weeks one tomorrow or Thursday latest as if I'm at line stealer now I might have the same thing happen @Minster2012 as it really could be a case of leave it too long and you never get to see 3+?

Don't worry absolutely zero symptoms here too my boobs don't hurt in the slightest and still have a full appetite.

@2020mission those are supposedly the "fake" FRERS. I think they're the foreign version maybe but unsure. What you've got there is a dye stealer though! How many dpo are you now ???

@lucyrp 20 DPO. Yeah I don't now why fakes are being sold by Amazon directly 😬 it was a result within 45 seconds - super fast! I had a bit of a line stealer cheapie yesterday so I can trust this fake a bit more because of that

@2020mission I got my first dye stealer at 19dpo then an even better one at 22dpo! That was when I did my last FRER. I don't know that those are necessarily fakes but not considered the real deal in the uk so I think they're more European

@Minster2012 aww lovely I know the feeling, we've all been there don't worry. Please don't read too much into it, like others have said your line is still so strong and after a while they actually look lighter because too much hcg or conception might be slightly later x

@Kirky658 we are definitely worriers here! I'm sure all will be fine and your bub will be looking gorgeous x

If it makes anyone feel any better I never got a massive dye stealer but after yesterday I know I am most certainly preggo 😂 I might have to poas later just to see what it looks like.

I've been crampy today but not the usual af style ones, more like a pushing feeling around where baby is, almost muscle stretching type pain. It's a bit worrying but I know it's fairly normal. I wish they'd tell you about these things in school!

@Justanothercyster yes it would be interesting to see what a test looks like at 12 weeks and you know all is well as you had the scan yesterday so it's without worry. It feels like the only good time to use tests after the initial BFPs are only when you've had scan confirmation 😅 has your sickness eased yet? Also when do you get your next scan? I've never thought beyond 12 weeks haha

@lucyrp not going to lie I've scrolled back and glanced at your tests photo a couple of times this week for comparison 😂 it's nice to have something to compare with!

Thank you everyone, I just wish we could turn the worry off 😫or the doctor would do bloods but no.

I do have cramps now though, that might be from cleaning the floor and inhaling toxic fumes for 6 hours!

@2020mission yes very rare I have sickness now which is nice! I'll have another scan at 20 weeks to check everything. I haven't poas yet as I can't hold my wee at all it seems 😂

@Minster2012 omg woman take it easy will you with the toxic fumes! Haha! But seriously, all normal trust me, I do understand the worry though.

I actually got a 2-3 weeks on digital today at 15dpo 😁 furthest I ever ggot was 1-2 weeks last June so can't help but feel excitedly anxious 🤞🤞🌈
