Hello ladies,
So I thought I'd put together a new thread for us (as you've probably seen in the main group). I thought this could be like a sub group (or side car as Haiyaa suggested) so we can chat about all things pregnancy without feeling that maybe we're overwhelming the TTC board.

I definitely don't want to leave the main bus and I know you all feel the same as we've created a amazing community of women supporting women... most people have said their ok with pregnancy chat but I know some are struggling with it and the shift in proportion of TTC vs BFPs, and we all know how hard it is to see too much pregnancy talk sometimes, especially if the journey has been long, as it has been for some. So I thought, lets be sensative to everyone's needs and have another option

I'm cautious about setting up a bus given I'm so so early but as I suggested it, I thought it best come from me I am happy to set up the threads but I dont have a great urge to be the bus driver (haha) so if anyone else wants to chip in setting up subseqeunt buses then I'd be happy yo share the responsibility!

Please tag anyone that I may have missed - I tried to go through the board to get any recent BFPs but I could have missed someone easily and theres ALOT haha.

@Justanothercyster not really 😂😂 were in the middle of buying a new house so I haven't been able to get nursery etc all set up which I think is putting me on edge. Hoping it all times okay. Aw good!! Did I see you'd told people today? That's when it starts feeling real 🥰🥰 have you felt okay? Xx

I've been back in MAU today for monitoring again as still zero movements - thankfully no issues finding HB this time. I think I'm in for a stressful third trimester with this sodding anterior placenta.

On the plus side shops are reopening a week tomorrow so we can start looking for the new car that we really need to fit 3 babies in! I'm so excited 😀

Well sorry I have been not been around for a couple of days been manic at work and ended up having an early scan. I’m actually further than I thought and will be 9 weeks tomorrow so that was a bit of a shock but a nice one. Saw the little heartbeat and everything which was amazing!

@Kirky658 oh wow that is going quickly! How have you felt? Exciting but also quite stressful 😂😂 xx

@florence13 awww lovely news on the scan, I was a bit further on during mine than I thought too!

@katecolx yep when we moved last year I said to DH I don't want to do this again for a looooooong time lol. I've had a pretty rubbish first 12 weeks tbh feeling nauseous virtually all the time so eating to stop it. Just felt so exhausted I couldn't stop sleeping. Thankfully post about 14 weeks I started to feel more like me again, less naps and getting my energy back a bit. However I now have a noticeable bump and if I sit down on the floor to put my shoes on I can't get up without assistance 🤣 how far gone are you now? X

@KateColx I'm terrible at keeping up with the normal bus! Used to be so good but I've gone rubbish 🤣🙈xx

@KateColx ah we're in the middle of all that too! Stressful isn't it. Luckily we have time in our side. Oh we only told dh's parents as they know we were going to start ivf etc. I'm waiting until the 12 week scan for everyone else :) been feeling awful but not long until 2nd trimester and hopefully will feel somewhat normal then 😂

@SamoyedFan123 ooh new car exciting! I'm glad you had a strong hb again, it must be so disconcerting.

@Florence13 aww that's exciting! Did it look more like a baby than a blob? Mine was only at 7 weeks so didn't look much haha, looking forward to seeing a more baby shaped scan! How far along did you think you were?

@Kirky658 aww thank you, cannot believe how far along you are I feel like it’s going so quickly.

@lucyrp thank you I have to admit it was such a relief to see a heartbeat.

@Justanothercyster yes you could tell it was a little baby. Well I only took a pregnancy test two weeks ago so thought 6 ish weeks at a push but because I hadn’t really had a proper period since my loss in Jan they sent me for an early scan to confirm my dates.

@florence13 - I'm so glad your scan went well - must have been a bit of a shock to find you were 3 weeks ahead of where you thought 😳

Update from me is that I actually felt some movements during the night for the first time in a week 😁 now I can have a day off from going in to the hospital!

I think I actually felt something last night for the first time, like a whirling in my tummy! Exciting x

@SamoyedFan123 yes a massive shock although in a good way as closer to the 12 week mark which is the milestone I’m currently wanting to get over. Aww so glad you have felt movement so not had to attend the hospital, that’s great news.

Hi everyone, I’m still around but have had a manic few days. Hope everyone has a lovely Easter. Went for a walk with the parents, park with friends and told both sets of parents that we are expecting. Everyone very excited and a little bit surprised. I think they were expecting us to stick with one, but with covid we had decided to hold off for a year.

@SamoyedFan123, hope baby is kicking the 💩 out of you! Must have been really frightening for you when they couldn’t find the HB.

@Florence13 9 WEEKS! I thought you were date twins with me and @Sausage1990. You must be chuffed! No wonder you were feeling so sick!

@Sausage1990 glad you got your 3+ my Femometer still not blazing but my digital went up to 2-3 on Saturday and will check again this weekend. How did you get on telling your family?

@Haiyaa sadly no, nothing at all since 5.30am this morning again - this is clearly the new normal 😒 will give it until tomorrow before going back in - I feel ridiculous ringing them every day! Great news on the 2-3 weeks digital - will you test again for a 3+ then stop?

@DJmum83 try asking your pharmacist for lactulose. I haven't needed it so far this pregnancy but I did with the twins from about 14 weeks on - just the lowest dose one a day was enough to sort me out and it ever tastes quite nice.

@SamoyedFan123 been taking lactulose too 🙈🙈 going to try suppository I think. Never been to uncomfortable, thanks though and glad to hear you felt some movement xxx

Hi everyone sorry I've been quiet too but I've been feeling really rough again! 15 weeks today so thought I'd be over the morning sickness but apparently not... Anyway feeling much better again now so hopefully that's it done! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Following with interest @DJmum83 because I am massively struggling with this too! Desperately praying for the lactulose to take effect. I am going regularly but it's horribly painful when I do 🙈 I've stopped my multivitamin because it's got iron in it and that can exacerbate things apparently. Got my midwife appointment next week so going to try and stick it out until then and then ask for help if it's still as bad!

I'm so sorry @SamoyedFan123 what a stressful time this must be for you! But good news @Kirky658 I'm so excited to feel something! And @Florence13 bit of a shock but better to be moved forward than backwards I think!

@florence13 bet you're happy you are closer to the 12 week mark though ♥️ when I went for my 12 week scan I thought I was 11+3 and measured at 12, the relief was amazing knowing that I had got past that 12 week stage!
