@AdriannaP
@ComebackQueen

I think it's just us at the moment (sorry if I forgot anyone) but hoping that more and more of us will be joining soon!
I figured it would be nice to stay in touch here too, throughout the exciting yet nerve-wracking next stages! 💞

How are you getting on? 🙂

Congratulations @Makingnumber2 🥰 What a great way to start the year! 💙
Iona is almost 4 months now, she's the most sociable, smiley baby who hates tummy time with a passion! 🤣

Hi all - just wanted to let you know that my baby Ella Matilda was born all beautiful and healthy at 3.34kg on the 12th of January ❤️ we are smitten with her and adjusting to the "new normal" day by day! Labour wasn't exactly what I planned for and I needed foreceps in the end which was pretty much my biggest nightmare with vaginismus - but luckily I already had epidural at that point and also the most animalistic instincts kicked in so I choose to be proud of myself rather than linger on what went wrong. I might request a debrief with the hospital which they already suggested anyway.

@bigsweetpotato hope your 12 week scan went okay? And @eloiseislostso lovely to hear from you and see your little one. Big love to you all!

ComebackQueen · 24/01/2022 12:09

@primrosechill omg congratulations and beautiful name.

You’re a superstar handling that birth with vaginismus, I was a chicken and had agreed a c section but the monkey arrived early but still was able to have one.

Enjoy this special time with the family.

Bluepolkadots42 · 24/01/2022 12:40

AHhh big congratulations @primrosechill! What a beautiful name! You are deffo a hero for getting through the birth even when tbings didn’t go how you would have hoped- absolutely right to be proud of yourself and hope the birth reflections appointment is helpful xx

Janefx40 · 29/01/2022 06:57

Hi folks! Just thought I'd check in with the Graduates from the SI thread and so pleased to hear about all these babies! Congratulations to all of you and best of luck for the exciting next few months

eloiseislost · 13/02/2022 00:58

Congratulations @primrosechill and what beautiful names you've chosen! 💞
I hope you are adjusting to motherhood as well as you can -it's quite a shock to the system isn't it?

Hi @Janefx40 so lovely to hear from you! I hope you are well. What have you been up to recently?

Hey ladies wanted to give you an update my end.

In September we found out we were pregnant ! Unfortunately it turned out to be an ectopic which wasn't caught before it ruptured which ended with me getting emergency surgery. I lost my left Fallopian tube and left ovary.
In January we decided to start trying again ( as well as starting the process for IVF) and we found out we were pregnant again.....i am now 11 weeks !!!!
Hope you are all doing well xx

Omg @Carol1980 I’m so happy for you, i pray everything goes well and you have a healthy, smooth and happy pregnancy. Blessings to you, that is just such wonderful and I mean, wonderful news!

Carol1980 · 02/03/2022 09:38

@ComebackQueen so far so good x I've been for LOADS of scans but my community midwife appointment isn't until next week !!! When I'm 12 weeks which is shocking !!
So we've booked another private scan next Tuesday so we can at least start telling our family !!

eloiseislost · 10/03/2022 07:16

@Carol1980 Amazing news!! I'm so, so happy for you! ❤️ A well-deserved rainbow baby will be in your arms before you know it! 🌈 How are you feeling, did you have a good first trimester? I was eating ALL the carbs at that point! 🤣 Also, pregnancy after loss can be quite a rollercoaster of emotions, I know that we'll, so feel free to reach out here. 😘

@eloiseislost doesn't it just!

Have you started weaning yet? I'm anxious about starting that next month - just getting into a routine and used to things and then something else to add into the mix!

eloiseislost · 31/03/2022 06:27

@sailormoo92 Yes, we started a couple of weeks ago. It's a lot of mess and cleanup but it's so much fun! Although Iona still takes 7 bottles a day, plus 2 solids meals now so I feel like I'm feeding non stop at the moment. 😫 Don't rush into it, you'll know when she's ready. 🙂

Hey guys, don't know if anyone is still on here and I lost my old username (bigsweetpotato) but wanted to let you know that my little boy Theo was born 30 June 2022, coming up to 3 months now and doing really well. Hope you are all good xx

Janefx40 · 20/09/2022 16:50

Hi @bigsweetpotato2Congratulations!!! Theo is a beautiful name. It's definitely on my list if we ever have a boy. how are you getting on? Those first few months are wonderful but can be tough.

I'm on this thread even tho I didn't graduate! We've moved back into the IVF world and things have progressed for us but not quite there yet. It's nice to read about successes.

So lovely to see all the success stories. I found this group and the initial one such a huge encouragement with great top tips... mostly because I didn't really realise that SI was really a thing! But it definitely is... we now have a healthy 6 month old girl, who is a huge answer to prayer and obviously very loved! ❤

I owe SI and this group my life, because my daughter is my life. 💞 It's great to hear about all the babies, always brings a happy tear in my eye.

Congratulations @bigsweetpotato2 I am so happy for you! So lovely to hear all the updates. My little boy will be 11 months in less than 2 weeks and I still have to pinch myself sometimes that I was lucky enough to have him. He is so adored especially by his big sister! Kind of strange to be leaving the baby phase behind but I've been truly blessed.

I wish all you ladies and your babies health and happiness 💗

AdriannaP · 02/10/2022 13:01

My beautiful boy just turned one. ❤️❤️💙💙🌈 forever grateful for this group and the one before we graduated. Love to you all.

Makingnumber2 · 02/10/2022 19:12

Happy birthday to your little one @adrianna The notification for the thread just popped up and I've just sat and scrolled through and been reminded of all our struggles and the beautiful happy endings that eventually came after. ❤ 🌈 Hope all of you and your littles are doing well and I too will always be grateful for the support of the SI undergrad and graduate threads. 💕

Makingnumber2 · 02/10/2022 19:16

Sorry forgot to say huge congratulations @bigsweetpotato2 ! So happy to hear little Theo arrived safe and well. Hope you're doing well too- those first weeks after birth can be quite the shock to the system!

@janefx lovely to hear from you too. I hope the IVF journey is going well for you and that you soon have your BFP and a healthy pregnancy underway.

@carol would love to hear how you're getting on after your most recent update too!
