I also dunno how I'm going to have any energy to get this baby out, I can barely
Get up the stairs!

You know having zero energy and needing to rest is a labour sign that baby isnt far away? Rest, ladies! Nap! Your body is telling you to!

@TheViewOutsideMyWindow I hope you're right. Time seems to have stood still at the moment

Hope everyone is doing ok! Good luck to all that had a sweep! I'm tired here too but can't sleep during the day so just doing a lot of laying down when I can, I think I've still got a way to go yet but you just never know!

Mild contractions for me every 5/6 mins or so. Don't feel massively strong but hopefully it's the start and they'll ramp up soon!

I am 38+3 today, have an ELCS booked for Tuesday. Increase in braxton hicks and jelly like discharge the past couple of days. My baby is breech but still feel like my bump has dropped a bit and the horrendous heartburn I've had has eased off a lot today! Getting some mild back and lower abdomen pain on and off but not regularly. Wondering if I'll make it to Tuesday - likely be kept waiting until Monday night and then she will decide to put in am appearance 😂

I think my waters have broken (well pretty certain...).... I might be on for an actual due date baby!!! 40 weeks today and my first reaction after this started was to make a cup of tea (you can take the girl out of Britain and all that 😂).

With my little one I think it was about an hour after this that contractions really started so I’m waiting quietly (with my tea) to see if something does indeed start to happen!

Our little boy arrived very speedily this morning. Things kicked off quickly around midnight and he was out before 4am. Enjoying all the snuggles! Good luck to everyone still waiting, it's well worth it!

Yay for waters breaking @Wavesandsmilesencore! My contractions started an hour or two after my waters went with my first, hopefully you've had time to enjoy that cuppa!

Having period type pains and backache all night but it all disappears mostly during the day. I think my body is cleaning itself out too. Not sure if anything will come of it or whether I'll make it to ELCS day in 13 days time!

So I woke up at 7. Had a few contractions but thought nothing of it but decided to call hubby back from his walk by 8, called hsptl by 8.30, in for 9.30 baby was here by 11, little scrumptious baby boy!!!

Guess you were right @TheViewOutsideMyWindow not having any energy really was a sign of labour and I still can't believe it's real!!!

My ELCS date has been moved to next week Wednesday. Can. Not. Wait. To. Get. This. Baby. Out. Of. Me!!!

My sweep this morning was gross, but I got through it and now just waiting 👀 the midwife seeemed to think something would happen soon x

@bunhead34 how do you feel after the sweep? I had mine this morning too. I’ve been having very strong period type pains ever since I got home. They last about 45 sec- 1min15 but very irregular (7-15 mins apart). No idea if they are labour contractions or just cramping as a result of the sweep

@mumto3andexpectingagain this gives me some hope! I'm tired and love a good afternoon nap at the minute but the midwife tried to do a sweep at 39 weeks but she couldn't as baby wasnt engaged and she's fairly confident that I'll see her next Thursday 😔

@LuckyFlash I had the same period like cramps earlier, I didn't time them tho as they got worse and a bit better but never really went away 🤷🏼‍♀️
Now I have a lot of tightening along the top
Of my bump and what feels like a foot in the ribs pain but maybe it isn't a foot in the ribs, I don't know!
