15 week scan images...

Hi everyone, what are your guesses... boy or girl?
I have quite a few images...

What were you told at the scan? I am having my third boy and it is much more obvious at 15 weeks. That last image does look like a scrotum but it’s not very clear!

The Tech said girl, based on this image..

She spent more time measuring femurs and doing the heartbeat than confirming the sex. She couldn't even get a potty shot when I asked her too because I wasn't convinced.. She showed me this still image and said girl but did not actually prove the sex. Nub theory has been incorrect many times, at 15 weeks a potty shot should of been used. Waste of my money and has left me with much doubt..

The 'nub' is not even positioned in the middle of babies bottom area and baby is turning away from the camera. Nub is supposed to be analysed from a saggittal side profile. For a gender scan, I don't think this is a convincing image.

The entire scan was rushed, Tech seemed annoyed because baby was literally moving around rapid. I watched intensely and never seen all the images that I have posted.. I had to super slow down the videos to capture the genitals.

Which when comparing to other babies online at the same gestation, look very similar to boys not girls...

So this was a private gender scan?

Why did you go so early? You could do NIPT/amnio if you want to be sure

Yes, private scan.. I read that it was possible to tell at 15 weeks.. so thought why not.. seems as other half was unable to attend my NHS dating scan and they wouldn't let me record it. Thought it would be nice to have a video to show him...

Nipt in the UK costs hundreds, amnio has a risk of miscarriage. This was a £49 gender scan..

I would be disapointed if i paid for a gender scan and didnt leave feeling i knew what i was having, perhaps phone and discuss with them

Exactly, so I'm annoyed and trying to figure it out for myself.. plus she didn't give me a 4d glimpse of baby I enquired as to why and was told that it depends of babies position. So she couldn't even capture baby in a decent still shot to then show me in 4d.. The scan was a mess...

That last one looks a bit like mine which is very obviously a boy (though mine as a white section at the tip so looks more clearly like a penis!) basically I don’t think you are going to get a clear answer from these photos!

I would say boy based on the last pic

This was mine with DS2 at 16weeks exactly.

The reason i am saying boy is i cant see the famous 3 white lines for a girl ANYWHERE!

I would phone them and say your not happy

Call back & say you want another scan if she was rude & rushing. I would!

15 weeks is too early. 16 weeks at a very minimum.

I think a lot of places advertise 15 weeks now

@ImAbsolutelyTwatted Your pic looks almost identical to mine... sure I see the cord on the same place also!

@THATbasicSNOWFLAKE Throughout the entire scan I never saw anything that looked like a girl..

@3AndStopping It was quite a drive and thought that I will wait until I have greater confirmation before calling back with both barrels!

I have 4 girls.. so not sure what a boy looks like.. although I have researched loads the last 2 weeks an learnt a lot regarding boys bits..as strange as that sounds..

But trust and believe, if baby is proven to be a boy they are surely going to get it!
