15 week scan images...

Hi everyone, what are your guesses... boy or girl?
I have quite a few images...

@DrinkFeckArseGirls.. Yes, they sure can look strange at times when your seeing more of the skeleton! These are the images I got from slowing down the video clips, can you imagine how rubbish the images are that the Tech gave me, not one shows babies sex... considering it's a sexing scan!

@MamaJ8 have you tried posting on the gender detectives Facebook group? They have a lot of techs there so many be able to give their thoughts!

At the moment during lockdown government guidance scan places aren’t officially allowed to do a gender specific scan as they are not for essential medical reason. They can However choose to add a look at gender at the end of a well-being scan . Hence why focus was on measuring etc .

I’m really surprised that you were able to book a specific gender scan, rather than a reassurance scan. All the places I’ve seen have said that they’ll do them for medical purposes not ‘superficial’ (gender, 3D/4D etc), but if they can see the gender they will tell you. However, they won’t offer a rescan if they can’t. This is all due to covid.
I’m curious as to where you went?

I originally thought maybe boy but having a look again, I think I can see the three line part on some of the photos. I hope they'll be able to give you some clearer answers soon though 😊

Where have you been looking?! Everywhere offers gender scans except the nhs!

I see these pics more like a boy? Its so frustrating as I'm in the same boat they showed on the screen that mine is a girl but I have no potty shots and my 4d image looks more like a boy with something in-between the legs 🙈

Another person surprised you paid for a gender scan. Private scanning places are not allowed to offer them at the moment due to lockdown. Only reassurance scans so no rescan option as they are not promising gender but checking wellbeing

It comes under a well-being scan to enable you to find out the gender due to covid 19 but its still a gender scan just u have a few more checks as well so they can still get away with doing them during the pandemic! 🙂

@Honeydukesmum, that's the first Iv'e heard this, I emailed them asking a few questions regarding specifically the sex of baby and they not once mentioned this. Interesting..

@GreenSlide most private places including big places like window to the womb. They should only be telling people the gender if they can see it from a well-being scan. Not a specific gender scan. However, if they’ve done the well-being/reassurance check and can see they can let you know.

@GreenSlide I’m also talking currently in the pandemic. Before that, I appreciate there’s many other options. But, OP isn’t likely to be offered a rescan as well the main reason is well-being.

Well, this place was quite naughty then, of course they still want bookings.. but they surely did not state this to me when making enquiries..

@UnicornsandRainbows1 Hey, thanks for looking.. I don't see the 3 lines closer to the bottom area where a vagina would be positioned. Boys can also have lines on their bits.. I see lines further out from the body. But hey, this is why more eyes are better than just mine..

What do you make of these comparison images, confirmed boys on the left and my baby on the right.. x

@Tomatobear... Thanks for looking... did you boy have a triangular shape? Boys are new to me regarding ultrasounds and I guess not everyone see's the same angles during their scan..

@MMSN92... I think it's easier on normal 2d to see gender.. How many weeks were you at the time of the scan

Yea thats how I was shown was on the 2d but the 4d image there is defo something there and I don't think it quite looks like girly bits but I could be wrong 🙈 i have 4 girls already but iv never found out the sex with my others. I was 16+6 I think 🙂

Interesting @Carefree1 I had a “gender scan” two weeks ago and this wasn’t mentioned at all. It was described as a scan for that specific purpose, only 10 minutes long so not really lining enough to check anything else. She told me the sex in the first couple for minutes and then carried on to some general imaging for the rest of it. Seems like not everywhere is following the rules!

@MMSN92... Maybe look up 4d images of girls to compare... So you waited until birth to see the sex of your other babies... takes a special kind of patience that does.. I'm just to eager!

@Jchina... Hmmm, some places are definitely bending the rules...

This was my girl

Oh and that's rubbish about only being able to do 4D in certain positions! As you can see, my girl had 4D in every which position but loose!
