Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@AlackAlasAlackaday congrats on the twins news!

catscatsallthecats · 22/03/2021 15:53

Twins! @AlackAlasAlackaday congratulations. What joyous news.

I'm really in two minds about booking an early scan as I know things can still go wrong after that. Sad

babynov · 22/03/2021 16:12

Oh wow congratulations @AlackAlasAlackaday!! I have two sets of twins in my family so I'm wondering whether this might happen too! Grin

Bonniecoloo · 22/03/2021 16:44

@AlackAlasAlackaday congratulations on twins - so exiting!

I’ve just come back from the drs and they’ve requested an early scan for me for Friday. She seemed concerned that I haven’t had any sickness yet and was implying it wasn’t a good sign but I’ll only be 6 weeks Wednesday. Has anyone else not got sickness? If you have, when did it start ??

DizSquiz · 22/03/2021 16:50

@Bonniecoloo had v v v mild nausea but mine seems to have eased. However my mum didn't have morning sickness at all with either me or my sister

DoveGreylove · 22/03/2021 16:51

@Bonniecoloo my sickness started 5 days ago which I think was at about 6 weeks(ish). Don't worry! Not everyone gets it. My friend is 22 weeks pregnant and never felt nauseas, never had food aversions or anything! She just sailed through the first trimester!

Bonniecoloo · 22/03/2021 16:55

@DizSquiz @DoveGreylove I feel sick if I haven’t eaten but I’ve not been sick. Just made me panic as I also know people who haven’t had any sickness and it’s everything’s been fine.

AlackAlasAlackaday · 22/03/2021 17:03

@Bonniecoloo good that they’re doing an early scan. Fwiw with dd I had no symptoms at all. Totally fine.

Hi all - cannot believe that I am able to make it on to one of the pregnancy boards - after 5-years of trying, including 3 cycles of IVF I am here!!

Current 5 + 6, I believe that I'll be due 16th Nov.

Having read through some of the posts, I am too filled with worry that when I get to my first scan (7 + 1) that there will be nothing there as this is the furthest I've even been.

babynov · 22/03/2021 17:18

@Mrbay congratulations and welcome! Lots of worriers here (me included) so you are in good company!

catscatsallthecats · 22/03/2021 17:30

Can I ask a stupid question please?

First day of last period was 17th Feb (which would mar me four weeks pregnant)

Conception date was 7th March (which would make me 1.5-2 weeks pregnant), and did a Digital with weeks test which said 1-2 weeks pregnant

NHS website says weeks are counted from the first day of last period.

So when I go to book an early scan, should I book one for six weeks from first day of last period or from conception date, as obviously there is quite a difference?

Maya000 · 22/03/2021 17:53

Congratulations! That's great news! @AlackAlasAlackaday @ktypage @Mrbay

@Bonniecoloo I think it is pretty common for some ladies to not have any symptoms during the first trimester. It is strange for your midwife to point that out as a concern? Try not to worry, hopefully you'll be okay!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 22/03/2021 17:53

The former I think @catscatsallthecats.

@Mrbay welcome! Gosh what a journey you’ve had.

I was on the IVF thread with @Mrbay. I’m due 17th November. Been trying for 3.5 years, had a MMR with my first then two cancelled cycles due to Covid.

I’m absolutely terrified, I’ve not let myself think past getting to my 8 week scan yet, but fingers crossed it’s this time lucky.

Not had loads of symptoms (which is why obviously another thing to worry about), bit of nausea when I’m hungry, needing to eat more often, and a bit of tiredness, plus I need to wee all the time! A part of me is hoping for morning sickness just so I believe I’m pregnant, although I know I would immediately regret that thought!!

The IVF thread was so helpful so hoping I’ll be in this for the long run 🤞

Maya000 · 22/03/2021 18:05

@Hannahb26 Hope you are feeling better. I was worried about not having symptoms and this week it has just been horrible. I just feel miserable all day. I feel super nauseous and super sensitive to every smell. Can't stand anything at the moment. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

ShutUpAlex · 22/03/2021 18:06

@catscatsallthecats do it from conception. I’m did. mine from first day of last period and they could see anything as I was only actually about 4 weeks pregnant! According to lmp I was nearly 7 weeks.

DoveGreylove · 22/03/2021 18:06

@Ttc2017 how are you? Hope you're ok
