Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@Rmd123 - didn't the GP refer you to your local midwife team?

Sammy12xx · 22/03/2021 10:29

Thats fab mine are tingly sore to... ive just booked in with the midwife for 8 weeks appointment im 4 weeks now x

Rmd123 · 22/03/2021 10:33

@MissDaniB they told me to come into them tomorrow. Unless they have a specific doctor that does that? They have to confirm the pregnancy too so maybe after I go in they'll do that. I don't know how all this works 😂

MissDaniB · 22/03/2021 10:50

@Rmd123 Think your trust must be different to mine. I've been referred to my local midwife team, and have had my first scan through the post. I'm a first time mum to be too, but think it's a little early for birth plan. Likely to confirm your pregnancy and get you referred to the midwives for care/bloods etc! :)

Rmd123 · 22/03/2021 10:55

@MissDaniB yes sorry that's what I meant not birthplan! Are u in Ireland or UK? I think they confirm it see what hospital I want to go to then contact the midwives there. I booked a private scan for 3 weeks time too so excited 😍

HLMx · 22/03/2021 11:03

Morning everyone, hope we are all ok. Sending lots of love to @Ttc2017 hope you get seen today.

Has anyone used Window to the Womb before (not a fan of that name 😂🙈) please??

MissDaniB · 22/03/2021 11:03

@Rmd123 UK for me, assume you're Ireland? ❤️ I have a private scan booked for next week, nervous!

Rmd123 · 22/03/2021 11:07

@MissDaniB yeah I'm Ireland! Just looked it up on HSE website. You confirm pregnancy with your GP they talk you through staying healthy/vitamins etc. Then they refer you to a midwife unit in the hospital you choose for a booking visit between 8-12 weeks.

DaenarysStormborn · 22/03/2021 11:15

Morning! Hope you are all feeling okay. I'm 5+0 today and still got cramps constantly. Not feeling sick yet though, just really uninterested in food. Absolutely exhausted and failing to concentrate on work! I've got my GP appt on Wednesday but its just a phone call - I'm assuming they'll just refer me for the scan in that appt and not actually do anything else? First time, so I have no idea what to expect!

Rosie189 · 22/03/2021 11:15

I’m feeling so rough today. Up all night with a really dodgy stomach. Worried I’ve got food poisoning or something. Not sure how! Not had any vomiting but really really nauseous but have been like that in the mornings. Taken the day off sick planning to try and rehydrate and rest. Anything weird that happens stresses me out so much that it’s a sign something is wrong!

Bonniecoloo · 22/03/2021 11:16

Just had my booking appointment through for 14th April I’ll be 9+1 then. I have spoken to the doctors this morning who are trying to get me in for an early scan this week because of my previous miscarriages last year. So difficult not knowing if everything is ok and if it’s not would rather know.

Hannahb26 · 22/03/2021 11:51

I feel so guilty typing this as we've waited for so long to get pregnant but is anyone else feeling a little bit miserable? Nausea and sore boobs are hitting hard and I can't concentrate on anything as well as worrying about having a missed miscarriage constantly 😔 I'm 7+5 today

MissDaniB · 22/03/2021 12:11

@Hannahb26 Yes I'm the same. I'm either feeling nauseous or have my head down the loo. I didn't realise you could feel this rough - I keep finding myself crying as I feel so bad!

Also worrying about a mmc, I know 2 people that have had one and it just scares me senseless. I keep googling how common it is, if there's any symptoms etc. I have no excitement because I'm worried all the time. 🤦🏼‍♀️

DizSquiz · 22/03/2021 12:17

I'm worried cos I still have minimal symptoms 😔 slightly sore boobs and that's it

Sunbird24 · 22/03/2021 12:19

I’ve had 2 previous pregnancies, 18 years apart, one natural and one IVF, both ended in a MMC. This is the first time I’ve seen a heartbeat yet I’m still not calling the midwife out of the fear of having to tell them I’ve lost it days/weeks later.

happygolucky20 · 22/03/2021 12:26

Hi Ladies
So it is moving really fast! Called the surgery this morning to register with the midwife, the doctor called straight back and I am all registered with them. Then the midwife called and I am seeing her on Thursday and they have sent for a dating scan in two weeks. So exciting!

I am trying to remain super positive and not let the worry/doubts creep in - I have a pic of the positive test on my phone just to remind me that it is real.

DoveGreylove · 22/03/2021 12:28

@Hannahb26 I'm feeling super super nauseas, 24/7, and it sucks to know that this is going to continue for another 8 weeks or more...

I'm also worrying about MMC. Have a scan this week I really hope there is something there. I'm not sure on my dates so don't know how far gone I am but somewhere between 6-7 weeks I think

Sunbird24 · 22/03/2021 13:24

@Ttc2017 been thinking of you, hope you’re ok x

Potterurotter · 22/03/2021 13:33

Has anyone else been having really bad belly ache? I’m quite worried about possibility of ectopic as it seems to be more down the left side. It has been off and on as yesterday I was fine but today it’s back with a vengeance

regirayful · 22/03/2021 13:46

Hello hello! May I join as well? Current due date is Nov 28th so still quite early on ( 4 weeks) and just getting my bearings (!). Epic fatigue and weeing like it's my day job but otherwise all good. Looking forward to hearing from all of you Flowers

pansa · 22/03/2021 13:47

I had stomach ache last night, I'm also worried cause I don't know what's normal and what's not Blush also had a horrific headache last night

AlackAlasAlackaday · 22/03/2021 14:53

Welcome @regirayful!

@Sunbird24 it's so difficult isn't it? Will you wait a bit longer before calling them do you think? Or have another scan?

Lots of aches and nausea all round, I hope everyone is holding up as well as they can in the circs.

@AlackAlasAlackaday oh my! Congratulations! Have you got a history of twins in your family?

@Potterurotter I've been having stomach pain on and off - think its normal though. I'm 5+0 today. Are you about same in terms of weeks?

ktypage · 22/03/2021 15:05

Early scan today, saw the heartbeat literally seconds in!! Measuring 6+6 so one day out which I was chuffed with haha!
I’ve had such a rough weekend full of anxiety and dread following blighted ovum in October. Feel like I can breath a bit easier now :)
