Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@ktypage thank you for the warm welcome :) so nice to be able to talk to others going through it!

@Fuzzbuzz86 I've booked an early private one for Monday 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Sunbird24 yes! And a full moon so I think that was lucky too 😁

I've actually taken the last 3 days off work as the sickness has been sooooo bad, and feels like I've been bashed around the head 😖 able to eat again today though which is nice! Does anyone else feel like you might as well just insert an IV drip because of thirst??

Also- anyone else having cramps on and off? It makes me sooo paranoid even though it's supposedly normal...

MKe21 · 17/03/2021 16:59

Is anyone here having no symptoms? I guess I feel a bit more tired and wake up early but no sore boobs at all. No sickness. Im 4+4. Worried its a bad sign.

Got a dye stealer yesterday so I know the lines are getting darker but I really want to stop testing now.

With my first i remember having sore boobs a little after finding out at 4+4 but they were only achy if I took my bra off and eased off really early to be replaced by horrendous sickness. Hoping everything is ok but feeling a bit deflated 😔

MKe21 · 17/03/2021 17:02

@Justanothercyster I felt like that with my first. Just 24hour sickness and nausea from 6 weeks. The only way I could get any really fluid to stay down was ice pops which is what they told me to do at the EPU. I lived off potato cakes with no butter, ice pops and dry toast for weeks.

Take as much time off as you need. I don't have any cramping really but don't have much of anything so 😬

Justanothercyster · 17/03/2021 17:05

@MKe21 thanks :) I was also paranoid I had no symptoms at 4 weeks but they've certainly started now, all in good time

MKe21 · 17/03/2021 17:10

@Justanothercyster thanks, that's reassuring. Seems silly to wish for symptoms as when I had them last time I wished them away but would have panicked if they disappeared. We worry about symptoms and worry about lack of symptoms, isn't this period just so worrying!

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 17:24

Anyone else working out?
I do weights and walking. Usually peloton, but I haven't wanted to go on for a fortnight!
I've lowered my weights slightly and I don't push to failure now.

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 17:25

Can't wait for the gym to open!

Nov21 · 17/03/2021 17:55

@babynov I’m glad your diet is as bad as mine haha I reckon I’ve gained a solid 5 pounds already

Girlmama3 · 17/03/2021 18:15

@Aisforharlot I’ve been doing at least 10,000 steps a day and I also do YouTube 15 min low impract cardio.

My bmi is 27 so I can’t gain too much 😩

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 18:29

Sounds good @Girlmama3, hows that feeling for you right now?

DaenarysStormborn · 17/03/2021 18:54

@MKe21 I'm taking a Pregnacare tablet and topping up with folic acid to 4mg. I'm waiting for the doctor to confirm next Wednesday that that is right though. I'm starving constantly but the thirst is abating. Cramping is just occasional now but it's really worrying. Just trying to breathe, hoping it will all be fine. I'm 4+2 today so I'm kind of hoping for strong symptoms just as reassurance!

Girlmama3 · 17/03/2021 18:59

@Aisforharlot I feel healthier then I have in months! I started doing it just before I fell pregnant. I’ve lost a stone and a half. I also eat pinch of nom food which I love!

I put on 4 - 5 stone with each pregnancy and am determined not to do that again!

It’s hard isn’t when you don’t feel great. I’ve never been a gym person but wish I was! you’ll be able to tailor your exercises to how you feel when they re open and you get back to it 😀

Girlmama3 · 17/03/2021 19:01

Why are some of you taking extra folic acid? I take the Pregnacare but that’s it.

MKe21 · 17/03/2021 19:04

@Aisforharlot literally really light workouts from YouTube. I was just starting to exercise more before I got pregnant so not sure how used to it my body is and how much I can exert myself.

@Girlmama3 my BMI was 31 when TTC so have been on the higher dose. Its now 29.9 but I think 30 and above needs the higher dose so I'll just keep taking that as its pretty much 30!

Girlmama3 · 17/03/2021 19:05

@MKe21 Thank you. I’ve got mine down to 27 thanks to YouTube fitness videos! In just need to keep it there before the booking in weigh in 🤞🏻

DaenarysStormborn · 17/03/2021 19:31

@Girlmama3 My BMI is high too. I've already started a recommended diet plan to try and sort it - I'd managed to lose quite a lot before lockdown, but with shielding I've put it back on.

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 20:13

@Girlmama3 that's so great, well done you.I lost 5 st a few years ago doing weights, I love it if anyone needs any advice. (I'm half way to my level 3 qualification)

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 20:15

@MKe21 that sounds really good.
I'm sure you can keep going when you feel up to it. The rule seems to be not to get horribly out of breath and not to push HR hugely high for long periods.
Weight lifting naturally protects against that for me with some adjustments, but being a worrier I overthink the cardio.

fglitter · 17/03/2021 20:56

@Aisforharlot I’m a Peloton gal too. Haven’t done much the last couple of weeks as just been so busy + baby not granting me my early morning slots, but keen to get back on the bike now so that I establish good habits for the rest of this pregnancy 🤞🏼 So happy to get to do the new Robin Arzon workouts! I have a PowerZone challenge starting next week, but not sure if I’m up to doing it all. We will see....

fglitter · 17/03/2021 20:57

Oh and definitely up for any weights tips @Aisforharlot - it’s something I’ve always meant to get on but haven’t set the time aside. Would it be ok to start in pregnancy?

hopewithfeathers · 17/03/2021 21:17

Hi I'm new to MN- I am 4 +4 with expected due date around 19th November. Some mild nausea and sore boobs but otherwise feeling okay. This is number 3 for me but am still feeling a little anxious that all will go well. Lovely to read how everyone else is getting on and to know how I'm feeling is normal!

AlackAlasAlackaday · 17/03/2021 21:25

Welcome hope Flowers

Hi all can I join? I got my bfp last week at 12dpo. Been ttc number 1 for 19months so I’m shock a little still. Have an appointment with private fertility clinic tomorrow to discuss starting ivf 😳. Should be due around 20th nov. Currently 4w4d but think nhs will count me as 6w4d.

Symptoms wise my main one was no spotting. I normally spot up to a week before my period and realised I hadn’t had any spotting. Also cramps, happens on and off a bit worse in the evening I think cause I’m more bloated at this point of day. Had some waves of nausea. Worse symptom at the moment is I can’t stomach tea. I drink decaf any way but just can’t deal with it at all. Definitely had some early wake up calls but also quite exhausted in the evening.

Called my gp yesterday to ask about midwife referral and they gave me the number for the EPU called and left a message but think that’s wrong so found a booking number online and called have midwife appointment in a few weeks and then scan end of April.

vixey · 17/03/2021 22:13

I'm just jumping back on here, because I've never felt so ill. I genuinely thought id be glowing and feel amazing. is that even a thing, or a myth coz glowing feels a long way off 😒

Allthingspeaches · 18/03/2021 00:22

Hi all! Would love to join. I got my bfp last week at 8dpo and my apps have me due on/around 20th November. I had a MMC in Dec'20 and have a very energetic 2 and a half year old son.

Feeling anxious but trying to stay calm and relaxed. The days seem to drag though, I just want to get to the scan. I do have a scan date from the hospital though at 8weeks6 which seems early to me.

Symptoms: I've had a little nausea, a little cramping and a lot of fatigue although not sure if that pregnancy or toddler 😆.
