Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@fglitter only 4+4 but tired here too. My toddler woke up at 3 then I couldn't get back to sleep for an hour. Finally did and he woke up again. Same yesterday was but was up from 4am. Off work yesterday and today and tried to nap but I just cant drop off!

Also had a v slight feeling of nausea eating my porridge this morning but blocked it out and managed to get through the bowl. Sickness started around week 5-6 last time and was horrendous til week 14. Although I have zero symptoms now so I'm actually wishing for something!

Bonniecoloo · 17/03/2021 07:56

Hi everyone hope I can join?
I’m 5 weeks today (due date 17th Nov) and my boobs & nipples have been so sore up until last night, now they only hurt if I push them to see? I have been having cramps but after reading on here that’s pretty normal. I had two early MC in a row last year so obviously thinking the worse. I keep testing every other day and today 19dpo it’s still is getting darker (if that means anything)
Is anyone else the same?

Girlmama3 · 17/03/2021 08:05

My symptoms are still coming and going. I’m 5+1 today and got 3+ on the clear blue today! I’m not doing another digital test 🤦🏻‍♀️

Bonniecoloo · 17/03/2021 08:18

@Girlmama3 I will do my last digital at the weekend and hoping to get my 3+ as with my other 2 pregnancies I never made it past 2-3 which I got last weekend with this one. Just feel somethings going to go wrong..

Rmd123 · 17/03/2021 08:55

@fglitter oh I'll look that one up! No it's ok I've to get DH one too so I'll order them together, thank you for the offer!

ShutUpAlex · 17/03/2021 09:03

I’ve got my scan today. I’m 6+3. Had anyone else had one this early? Not sure sure what I’m expecting to see really!

Sunbird24 · 17/03/2021 09:29

I’m 6+3 today too, my scan’s on Friday. Hope it goes well!

I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and I'm exactly the same. Breast tenderness is easing and line still getting darker x
Bonniecoloo · 17/03/2021 09:40

@KimF64 reassured someone else is feeling the same. I’m have mild cramps today again (if I was a week earlier I would think I was coming on!) hopefully it’s just normal but I just can’t help but worry.

MKe21 · 17/03/2021 11:10

@ShutUpAlex hope all is well at your scan today x

If you've spoken to a midwife yet when was your first call? I'm only 4+4 but rang the GP and my first call is when I'll be 7+3. I thought the booking in was around 8 weeks at the hospital so it seems quite late?

Girlmama3 · 17/03/2021 11:17

My hospital phones at 8 weeks and then you go in for the booking appointment at 10 weeks. It’s no different to my previous pregnancies. One person only is allowed to both scans but that’s it.

MKe21 · 17/03/2021 11:20

@Girlmama3 ah ok thanks! In my first pregnancy I think I saw the midwife at 6 weeks then she referred me to the hospital which is out of area so just worried it'll take longer but I'm sure it'll be fine

Is anyone taking the higher 5mg dose folic acid? If so are you also taking the usual pregnancy vitamins on top too (pregnacare, seven seas etc)? In my first pregnancy I was sick from weeks 6-14 but felt comforted that at least my baby had vitamins from the pregnacare so I'm worried about not taking them

Justanothercyster · 17/03/2021 12:38

Hi :) I'm only just brave enough to join this thread, due Nov 7th all being well and currently 6+3 weeks. I'm absolutely terrified as everyone I've spoken to has had a MC and it's my first pregnancy so I'm very worried. Been trying 18 months, both riddled with fertility issues and were about to go for ivf so counting my lucky stars so far 🤞🏼

ktypage · 17/03/2021 12:47

@Justanothercyster - welcome! You’re one day ahead of me! It’s a very anxious time for a lot of us here, you’re in the right place- I’ve found it super reassuring

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 12:54

My boob soreness is gone. I'm scared tbh.

ktypage · 17/03/2021 13:01

@Aisforharlot - mine has come and gone sporadically the last couple of weeks! A lot of others on here have had the same too x

Fuzzbuzz86 · 17/03/2021 13:16

@Justanothercyster welcome, fingers crossed bubba is fine, do you have a scan booked?

@HorsesAndSarma ah I miss the stables, when pregnant with dd i rode up until 5 months, I haven't been back since 😔.

@Aisforharlot my boobs never get sore, just big and sensitive lol. Symptoms come and go, I wouldn't worry too much. X

Aisforharlot · 17/03/2021 13:18

Thanks guys.

Sunbird24 · 17/03/2021 13:43

Hi cyster, there’s quite a few of us due 7 Nov - Valentines weekend must have had a little magic!

Maya000 · 17/03/2021 14:31

Snap! @fglitter I also have a 14 month that still feeds through the night and to say I'm exhausted is an understatement. My Gp advised me to take two weeks off work but, it's easier said than done. I've just returned home from work after being sick argh feel rubbish! Hope you feel better soon! Smile

HorsesAndSarma · 17/03/2021 14:33

@ktypage I’ve lost half a stone on the last week from nausea. I can barely eat or drink. I’m forcing myself to eat and drink what I’m managing so I don’t get poorly. Doctors are completely unsympathetic because I’m not actually vomiting.

@Fuzzbuzz86 I’m missing my horse at the moment. I am lucky I have friends who can keep an eye on her and do jobs and ride her but I didn’t expect to feel so poorly and weak that I wouldn’t be able to carry on as normal.

ShutUpAlex · 17/03/2021 14:53

Had my scan and turns out I’m a week earlier than I thought so have to go back in 2 weeks as they could only see a yolk sac. But gutted.

HorsesAndSarma · 17/03/2021 15:13

@ShutUpAlex don’t be gutted. At least there is something there and you still get to be excited!

Nov21 · 17/03/2021 15:24

I’m really struggling with nausea at the moment, I’m struggling to do anything at all other than laying down and eating food I fancy, feel like I can’t really get on with normal life and I might have to take time off work!
Am I right in thinking pregnancy related illness cannot be treated the same as normal sickness from work? I don’t want to get a bad sickness record but I genuinely just cannot get through the day!

babynov · 17/03/2021 16:30

I can't stop eating! Eating every hour seems to keep the nausea at bay for me but I'm also sure I didn't need half a packet of biscuits and a family bag of crisps as well as normal food so I feel like I'm on a slippery slope!
