Due November 2021 - anyone?

AlackAlasAlackaday · 18/02/2021 13:11

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

@vixey I think glowing is at least a couple of months away Grin

Aisforharlot · 18/03/2021 07:19

@fglitter yes, absolutely! I think if you're good to exercise then improving strength can only help in the long run, giving birth is like a marathon you don't get to quit Grin
I'd give girls gone strong a google, they have lots of prenatal resources. You'd be looking at getting form down and then moving on to light weights at first, but I'm sure you could progress even within the bounds of pregnancy recommendations.

AlackAlasAlackaday · 18/03/2021 07:57

@vixey definitely no glowing here!

@Allthingspeaches welcome. Yes, early pregnancy + energetic toddler isn't fun. Mine is watching loads of TV at the moment.

@MKe21

Is anyone here having no symptoms? I guess I feel a bit more tired and wake up early but no sore boobs at all. No sickness. Im 4+4. Worried its a bad sign.

Got a dye stealer yesterday so I know the lines are getting darker but I really want to stop testing now.

With my first i remember having sore boobs a little after finding out at 4+4 but they were only achy if I took my bra off and eased off really early to be replaced by horrendous sickness. Hoping everything is ok but feeling a bit deflated 😔

Me! I'm 4+4 today and apart from being a little tired I've no symptoms either. Got my beta back yesterday and it was strong so I'm just going to try enjoy this symptom free phase for as long as I can!

@hopewithfeathers

Hi I'm new to MN- I am 4 +4 with expected due date around 19th November. Some mild nausea and sore boobs but otherwise feeling okay. This is number 3 for me but am still feeling a little anxious that all will go well. Lovely to read how everyone else is getting on and to know how I'm feeling is normal!
Welcome!! 🥰
monnis · 18/03/2021 09:34

Morning ladies, hope everyone is well this morning. I just have a question about vitamins, I've still got half a bottle of conceive + left, I have also bought a pack of pregnacare but wondering if I should finish the conceive + off as they seem to contain pretty much the same thing. Has anyone done the same? Tia x

Girlmama3 · 18/03/2021 11:02

@Rosie189 congratulations 🎉 Isn’t it funny how things work out. I can imagine was the best phone call to cancel ivf because you’re already pregnant 😀

Girlmama3 · 18/03/2021 11:06

Welcome to all of our new pregnant ladies 🎉 There’s a link a bit further back to a private Facebook group of anyone is interested x

I’m 5+3 today. This pregnancy is really dragging. I suppose it’s because we’re stuck at home 😩

ignoranceisbliss15 · 18/03/2021 11:23

@HorsesAndSarma

Hi I feel like I need this right now. I’m 6+4 and I’m already really struggling with constant nausea and exhaustion. This is my first pregnancy but I feel like it’ll be my last because I’m really struggling to cope with how rotten I feel. I’ve gone from being at the stables every day to struggling to even get out of the house and it’s really getting me down. I was so excited when I found out I was pregnant I was so not prepared for this.
I am feeling exactly the same, don’t worry. Im 6+4 today and so tired all the time, constant loss of appetite but always feeling hungry and so feeling more sick. Only threw up once with a couple more false alarms. I think I would feel better if I actually did throw up. So not prepared for this!
KeepSmiling89 · 18/03/2021 11:37

Hi there! I found out last week that I'm pregnant and, according to NHS calculator, I'm due around 25th November. 5 weeks exactly today...Will scroll to find the private FB group.

Maya000 · 18/03/2021 14:17

@ignoranceisbliss15 snap! I am also 6 +4 and you've described exactly how I am feeling. I didn't get any of this with my first pregnancy. Hope we all feel better soon! X

monnis · 18/03/2021 14:40

Scan booked for 17th April when I'll be 10 weeks. Excited!

Rmd123 · 18/03/2021 16:12

@KeepSmiling89 hi! I'm due November 25th too according to my apps although I'm 4 weeks today 🤔 exactly a month before Christmas 😀

HLMx · 18/03/2021 17:42

Afternoon everyone. Congratulations to all the recent joiners 🤗🌟

I have a question I'm hoping someone can help me with.

So I ovulated (25th Feb) 9 days after AF (16th Feb) which makes me 4+2 but when I look at all the information available for 4 weeks pregnant everything keeps saying your baby was only conceived 2 weeks ago. I'm assuming that this means most people ovulate 2 weeks after their AF, mine only lasts 3 days so I'm thinking I maybe ovulate earlier than normal?? Should I then be reading as if I was actually 5+2 because I ovulated 3 weeks ago. Does this make sense, can someone help me please 🙏🏼

Also my first midwife appointment is on the 21st of April which will be 9+1 (or 10+1 depending on your answer to the above) does this seem quite late for a first appointment 🤔

Sorry for war and peace I'm just a little confused 🤭❤️

AlackAlasAlackaday · 18/03/2021 18:00

HLM I suspect your dates will be jigged around a bit at the 12 week scan, it’s not unheard of for things to change once they have actual measurements.

And first appointment dates seem really variable on here! Anything from 6 weeks to 11 x

Hello! I’m wondering if for now, midwives/GPs will date you from your LMP until you have a dating scan to say otherwise, I think it becomes a lot clearer then!

As for appointment, it all sounds right! They try and see you for booking around 9-10 weeks here, I know from working in maternity that bookings have literally doubled over COVID so they may be trying to fit everyone in! :)

Sunbird24 · 18/03/2021 18:19

I’ve not even called the midwife yet, want to make sure I get past the point where I lost it last time first.
The only reason I can be so certain of my dates is because it’s IVF, imagine there’s a fair bit of flex when it’s a natural conception - and of course babies don’t know or care what we think their due dates are anyway! Grin

LikeSomeKindOfMadness · 18/03/2021 18:54

The sickness is killing me too everyone. I don't throw up a lot but so much gagging and just generally feeling sick. It's awful, all day. And I often feel like things are stuck in my throat which I think is reflux but it makes me feel horrendously sick.

Only time I glowed in my last pregnancy was with sweat when walking up and down stairs. So not counting on a real glow this time either Confused

ednamode82 · 18/03/2021 18:55

Hi Ladies,

Can I tentatively join you? I'm due 20 November according to the NHS website and I think I'm 4 plus 3. I've never been pregnant before so the not knowing what is going on and symptom spotting is driving me mad already 😂

HLMx · 18/03/2021 19:02

@AlackAlasAlackaday @ktypage

Thank you for replying. I am just excited to follow the baby's journey and know which stage he/she is at and there's quite a difference between weeks. I was just after opinions so thank you for that ❤️

@Sunbird24 ah yes that makes sense for you ❤️ I'm not sure whether there is that much flex in my case though, I was only ovulating over a 3 day period and if it's true that the eggs only viable for 24hours then I must've conceived over that 4 day period. Is that right?? Someone more knowledgeable will know rather than me 🤭 x

Sunbird24 · 18/03/2021 19:20

No you’re right @HLMx, I did mean variation across a group of women rather than for anyone in particular, just expressed it badly

Ems2111 · 18/03/2021 19:44

Hello!

After a crazy week of finding out I was pregnant I’m delighted/super nervous and very nauseous, but really excited to join this group! I believe I’m due 16th november but I had irregular periods.

Congratulations to all in the group and happy to meet you all. Fingers crossed! I’m so so nervous... every twinge and bit of pain I’m freaking out :/

Xxx

KS88 · 18/03/2021 20:30

Hi
I’d like to join too, I got positive test yesterday.
Never really had regular cycles so not completely sure on dates yet.
I did clear blue test today which said 2-3 weeks!
Congratulations to everybody!! X

AlackAlasAlackaday · 18/03/2021 20:54

Welcome @KS88 and @Ems2111, hope you're both feeling good Flowers.

Hi everyone! I booked an early scan for 8th April I'll be 7 weeks that day. I want to get it done ASAP so I can tell my parents as I think they're guessing already. Is 7 weeks too early?
