Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

Hi I feel like I need this right now. I’m 6+4 and I’m already really struggling with constant nausea and exhaustion. This is my first pregnancy but I feel like it’ll be my last because I’m really struggling to cope with how rotten I feel. I’ve gone from being at the stables every day to struggling to even get out of the house and it’s really getting me down. I was so excited when I found out I was pregnant I was so not prepared for this.

LittleChicken11 · 16/03/2021 14:30

Thanks all for your reassurance - will hope these cramps are just stretching and burrowing and that they will calm down. Won’t be too pessimistic yet!

ShutUpAlex · 16/03/2021 14:34

@HorsesAndSarma I felt awful with my first but I’m having an other one haha. You will forget how crap you feel. That’s why we forget labour pain!

Maya000 · 16/03/2021 15:18

Hi @Waitingforarainbow87 hope you are feeling better. I had bright red bleeding and also passed a large grey flesh like tissue at 7 weeks. Midwife at Epu diagnosed it as a mc over the phone (without seeing me in person) and said to test in 3 weeks times to see if mc was complete. I went for a scan instead and I saw a heartbeat and it worked out eventually. Hoping you're bleeding settles and all is well xx

Waitingforarainbow87 · 16/03/2021 15:30

@Maya000 thank you for your message, it gives me a little hope. If you don't mind me asking how long did you bleed for? Also did you have any pain or cramping. I've not got any pain or anything but just quite heavy bleeding which has got heavier as the days gone on.

DaenarysStormborn · 16/03/2021 15:51

@Waitingforarainbow87 keeping fingers crossed for you.

fglitter · 16/03/2021 16:24

A friend had this recently and is currently 7 months pregnant. So you never know. Can you get to your local EPU for a scan? Having had a miscarriage between my son and daughter and then 4 years of infertility I know how anxious the early days can be even without complications. Sending hugs x

fglitter · 16/03/2021 16:24

Sorry @Waitingforarainbow87 that was meant to be for you!

fglitter · 16/03/2021 16:27

Yes, every time I’ve been pregnant! I just can’t wait till 12 weeks to know everything is ok. You do see a lot more at 8 weeks + so if all seems ok I’d do it then. Before then is usually an internal scan and harder to see much but done if there is bleeding etc x

Sunbird24 · 16/03/2021 16:54

I caved - private scan booked for Friday lunchtime (6+5)

MissDaniB · 16/03/2021 17:05

@Sunbird24 I caved last night and booked one for a couple of weeks when I'll be 8+2

Thank you for you message. That's a little bit reassuring. The EPU said that I need to ring them when the bleeding stops but they would also ring me on Friday and get me in for a scan if it hasn't stopped by then. Did your friend have any pain or cramping and do you know if it just came on suddenly. I've had no warning signs like spotting or a slow start. It's just like 'Bam' it's so strange.
LairyFrogMother · 16/03/2021 17:31

Yep! Due date is 18th nov. 4 days before my DDs(9) birthday! Not planned but very happy. Feel sick but taking nux vomica homeopathic remedy which helps a bit. Very very sore titties!

Maya000 · 16/03/2021 17:42

@Waitingforarainbow87 I think it was between 3-4 days. I had no pain or cramping. I was concerned because it was bright red and more than the usual spotting. I did have one episode of feeling an intense pressure down there and then passed a clot which resembled a sac so, I was convinced it wasn't going to work out. It was diagnosed as a threatened miscarriage. Another midwife said breakthrough bleeding is very common

Maya000 · 16/03/2021 17:46

@Waitingforarainbow87 if you dont mind me asking why do you have to wait for the bleeding to stop before they can see you? I was bleeding and they still managed to do a transvaginal scan. I know the wait is horrible. If it helps in any way or form, the pregnancy I had all the worrying issues succeeded in the end and the pregnancy that was symptom free became a missed miscarriage. Everyone's different and different symptoms can indicate different things for different women. Wishing you all the best take care xx

HorsesAndSarma · 16/03/2021 17:58

@ShutUpAlex I hope you don’t feel as awful this time round! I cope well with pain but constant nausea is just not what I expected!

@Waitingforarainbow87 I have everything crossed for you. I’ve had some pretty strong implantation cramping but as yet no spotting or bleeding.

Rmd123 · 16/03/2021 18:38

Hi guys.

Does anyone else have mild cramping in their lower abdomen? Feels like period cramps but not as bad. It doesn't feel like my period is coming I'm usually a lot more sore/sensitive down there (sorry tmi) but I just want to make sure this cramping/pressure feeling is normal? I took another test this morning and the line is nice and dark. Thanks!

MissDaniB · 16/03/2021 18:53

@Rmd123 yeah - I've had cramps on and off in my tummy and lower back for weeks now. Before I got a positive test I really thought I was going to have a period!

Girlmama3 · 16/03/2021 19:24

@Rmd123 Yes, I get cramping on and off. Implantation and stretching x

Nov21 · 16/03/2021 20:22

As long as it’s not sharp stabbing pains and not accompanied by blood I believe it’s typical because things are stretching and making room for the baby... doesn’t make it any easier to not worry though! Every pain I panic!

Rmd123 · 16/03/2021 21:06

@Nov21 no not stabbing at all just mild cramps all day like a dull kinda cramp if that makes sense. Bit tender i legged it to the toilet just there to make sure I wasn't bleeding. It's my first time being pregnant so I just done know what to expect! So glad this group is here.

DaenarysStormborn · 16/03/2021 22:34

I'm having the constant cramps too and keep panicking but so far so good. Glad to hear it is normal and to be expected. My pregnancy book arrived today which was exciting.

Rmd123 · 16/03/2021 23:12

I got a pregnancy book too, 'Your pregnancy week by week' quite a technical book. I'd Ike a light hearted ones that tells you what pregnancy is actually like if anyone has any recommendations!

fglitter · 17/03/2021 07:45

@Waitingforarainbow87 yes I think it did come on suddenly - a few times with cramps and then stopped. When she was scanned they found a subchorionic haematoma was the cause. How are you doing today?

I’m going to have to keep a close eye on my bedtimes this pregnancy I think. Can feel the nausea creeping in already 🤦🏻‍♀️ - it seems to be worse when I’m tired, and with a 14 month old who feeds through the night still, I’m tired 😂😂 anyone else?

fglitter · 17/03/2021 07:49

@Rmd123 Not sure if there are more out now but there don’t seem to be that many focussed on this! I liked the Jools Oliver one with my first. Lost in Motherhood by Grace Timothy is also really good. I think I have a copy somewhere if you wanted me to send it to you?
