Due November 2021 - anyone?

Anyone else with veeery early November positives who wants to hop on a thread and keep one another company?

I’ll start - I’m a MN regular posting under a new name. Took a test this morning and got a BFP! I already have DD(3) and last year we sadly lost her sibling to miscarriage - so I’m expecting a nervous nine months ahead. Sorest boobs ever and odd dreams the past few days but otherwise feeling ok (I know it’s very early though!). Oh, and DD gave me a hug yesterday and announced that there was a baby in my belly 🤦‍♀️

How are others getting on?

I’m 6+2 today and can’t stop worrying. Don’t know how I’m going to make it to the 12week scan! My symptoms have eased a bit this morning but I know that can be normal.

Has anyone booked a private early scan? I can get one for £70 near me on Friday, when I’ll be 6+5, but I don’t know whether I should... it still feels like a lot of money when I’ll get a scan 10 days after that anyway

Bit of bad news this morning woke up and it looks like I have started my period. I'm so devastated. we have been trying for 3 years and already had a MMC in June. Took forever to get pregnant again and now this has happened. I don't know how to tell my husband I'm bleeding. I'm sure it's not implantation bleeding there seems a lot. I don't suppose anyone has had this and still been pregnant? I'm holding on to the littlest bit of hope.

I think I’m worried about getting into a cycle of needing constant reassurance instead of just relaxing and accepting that whatever happens is going to happen either way.
Weirdly, I also have a bit of a bond with my nurse at the clinic as she was there for my egg collection, first embryo transfer, the scan where it was shown to have not developed, and my second embryo transfer. Kind of want to have that moment with her if it’s good news, which might be me being silly and emotional

@Waitingforarainbow87 I am really sorry to read this. I have no experience. Could you call the early pregnancy unit?

I've booked a scan in 2 weeks. I should be somewhere between 7 and 8 weeks I think so hopefully will be able to see something.

@Waitingforarainbow87 second a call to the EPU to see if they could check you over. How many weeks/days are you?

@LikeSomeKindOfMadness I'm not sure. I know there's nothing they will be able to do. To be honest I don't know what I'm meant to do in this situation. I just feel numb at the minute. I've come to work as I can't afford the time off and I'm already worried about my job and being made redundant but now I'm hear and having to pretend everything is okay it probably wasn't a good idea. I don't know whether to ring the doctors or the EPU as I hadn't registered the pregnancy yet either.

@Sunbird24 I'm only 4 weeks 4 days. But did a million tests and even got a clear blue digital positive on Saturday.

I don’t think it matters whether you’d registered or not - plenty of women hold off a bit at the beginning because of sad experiences before. Please do give them a call. Having made it into work would you be able to go home sick at some point if not straight away? Have you anyone sympathetic there you could tell what’s happening?

I’m driving myself crazy. Clear blue is still at 2-3 weeks. I’m 5 weeks today. I’ve ordered some more but can’t stop worrying. I’ve got a weird pain in my stomach today so that’s not helping 😩

Hello - can I join?
I got my positive about 2 weeks ago when my like clockwork period didn’t show.
Very surprised as this was the first month we hadn’t used protection & with DS it took 6 months to conceive.
Think about 6 weeks with a EDD of Nov 10

@Waitingforarainbow87 really sorry to hear this. Id definitely give the EPU a call to get their advice and second opinion. Really hoping it eases off very soon x

@Girlmama3 I've read lots about the digital ones taking a while to show 3+. I got my 2-3 last Friday and too scared to do another even next week as I know they can be cause worry.

Maybe give it a few more days and try again? Have you an early scan booked?

Hi, I’ve been following but not posting as I still don’t quite believe it. I got my BFP last week after two years TTC. I’m 5 weeks today. I had nausea but it’s now gone. And I have very strong cramps very so often. I know ‘mild’ cramping is normal for stretching but these are quite intense although only last for a few minutes. It does make me concerned though. I had a MMC a few years ago but didn’t have any symptoms then. So not sure what to make of the strong cramping. Has anyone else experienced this? It wakes me up in the night and I have to pace the floor for any relief.

@LittleChicken11 I have been having cramping too - not horrendously painful but enough to make me stop and wince (and panic). They come and go so I Mmmm hoping it's normal!

Thank you for the messages. I have rang the EPU and they said when the bleeding stops to ring them and go in for scan.

@Girlmama3 hey, I didn't test using the weeks thing until 5+2, as I didn't want to waste a test and I'm unsure exactly when ovulation occurred, and as HCG only starts to double every 48 hours after implantation, I wouldn't worry if you don't get 3+ bang on 5 weeks as everyone's HCG rises in different patterns

I had cramping constantly for a week, its tailed off now (about 5+2)

I got my 12 week scan date through the post today 😊❤️

I had really bad cramps the first week we found out, I was convinced it was my period because they felt just like it. I’m 6+1 today and we have our scan on Friday so hoping to tell fam after that, hope everyone’s feeling ok! 🤍
