Hello im looking for some advice im just 48 am i mad into thinking lets have a baby at my age ie risks or just dont go there any advice please

Are you female? Very different scenario if you are male.

On the assumption you are female, I think conceiving naturally and also having a healthy baby are incredibly low odds. However, I’ve got a friend who had a baby via IVF at 47 and another who used donor eggs to have a baby at 53.

Sorry about my grammar . I just feel that nobody knows what life has in front of them . I thought I don’t smoke didn’t drink I was guaranteed a healthy baby , I was very wrong
I don’t smoke or drink and one of my children was born profoundly disabled and died as a baby. As you say, no guarantees about what is ahead of any of us.
