@Blossom428 they had already advised on a c section based on other things too, so I've made peace with that, I just didn't want the complications on top! 28 weeks on Friday xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 Hello! Hope you're ok.
I'm alright, sorry I haven't been on here for weeks! I've actually been finding it easier to deal with anxieties/uncertainties by keeping myself to myself.
I have what feels like 50 appointments booked in for the next several months!
Getting some stuff sorted on the house before September, and just about starting to make a list of things it might be worth getting after 34 weeks. Absolutely dreading the expense though, trying to find the cheapest way of doing everything! Thank goodness my parents are buying the cot and giving us my old pram (which was apparently a very expensive and top of the range one at the time). I'll have a new mattress made for it from nursery safe foam.
Had a scan at 16 weeks to alleviate some anxiety, looked ok, couldn't see much because baby was in a weird position.

Glad to hear you're on track, hope everyone else is doing ok.

I know I have created an excel spreadsheet (very geeky haha) of everything for baby. Crazy how much is on there. Trying not to go wild either.

@TheOrangeMonster glad you are doing okay! I know what you mean about appointment I have four next week!!
Honestly baby stuff is insane money!!!!

@Blossom428 have you got a lot sorted? We have pretty much got everything we need for now, apart from things like blankets, towels, bedsheets etc. Haven't got many sleepsuits as I feel so confused about what sizes to buy! But her wardrobe is looking pretty ful!!!! X

It must all start to be feeling close now.
I’ve got my 12 week scan next week (where I’ll be 12+4) I’m starting to feel very nervous again and wishing the week away (not helped by a sudden dodgy tummy last night!)!

Ooh that's come round quick @mabelelsie - hope it all goes well, it's so nice to see your little one wriggling around.

@AnxiousAnnie86 - we have some bits like next to me crib, sleepyhead, bath seat, rocker and play gym and a few bits of clothes. I'm on a July group and everyone has been saying they've got eveything set up all ready and talking about hospital bags 🙈- stressing me out as I like to be organised haha. I'm only 25weeks though so still got plenty of time.
Pram shop is next weekend, and going to order furniture next week too I think.

@mabelelsie I felt like that at the time too, good luck!

Awww amazing!! @TheOrangeMonster it's so nice when you start to feel things. I'm getting kicks and rolls now, it's so strange but amazing just knowing he is in there!

I just thought I’d pop on and ask some advice if that’s okay.
I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, no indications that anything is wrong which is nice (apart from pretty much zero symptoms!) but I’m still feeling pretty anxious. What was your experience like? Does the sonography take a long time to find the baby or is it pretty quick? I think I’ll just keep my eyes closed for the whole thing 🤣
I can’t believe how nervous I am!

@mabelelsie aww I was so so so nervous for mine! I was crying when I went in! They pretty quickly tell you there is a heartbeat etc, mine talked me through what she was doing the whole time and it was really reassuring, my scan ohoto from 12 week scan (13 weeks) was the clearest photo of her we have had yet! It is amazing!!! I'm sure all will be absolutely perfect! Xxx

Thank you so much @AnxiousAnnie86 I’ve kept myself busy today and now just sitting down, hopefully I’ll get a good sleep and have a lovely happy day tomorrow. Because of where I live it’s a full day trip to the hospital so we are making a day of it. Hope you’re having a lovely week xx

Hope all goes okay today @mabelelsie - think positive!
I too was anxious because hardly any symptoms, but the sonographer was lovely and reassuring. Found baby quite quickly and go through everything with you. Then had bloods taken after.

All went well 😊 measuring 13+1 so quite a bit ahead and due date 19th October! Thank you for all the well wishes and reassurance. Xx

We have decided to leave gender as a surprise but I already feel it’s a boy! Xx

@mabelelsie haha you never know! I was absolutely convinced we were having a boy!!! Decided the name and everything! And now we have no girls name still with 8 weeks to go! X

@AnxiousAnnie86 OMG you're that close? How did that happen? Mind you I'll be 20 weeks next Wednesday (scan on the day!) so I guess I'm nearly halfway through too!

I'm so torn between finding out and not finding out the sex - my issue is I really don't want to name the baby before it's born but I know I will automatically if I know what it is 😂

@TheOrangeMonster hahah it feels like a lifetime away for me!! Do you have a name in mind for both? We definitely won't name her before she's here, but husband is so set on one name I do feel we will end up going with his choice.

20 weeks is great as you are home stretch from there!!!! Do you have any preference or not? X

Has anyone experienced lowers back pain/tailbone pain? I’m only 13 + 5 but it’s already affecting me!
