4 weeks today

I don't dare say it out loud yet or celebrate or get excited or anything but I'm 4 weeks pregnant today.

Anyone else out there just had a positive test result and want to keep me company?

@Kittysw you might be right.. gp sent me for a scan hopefully hapening soon so that should tell me if ghost pregnancy and whether it's all in my head..I would very much love to have another baby maybe I am bringing all the symptoms with my mind..

@Andrushy do you think you might be pregnant because your period was light? If so it might just be too early to tell? If it was implantation bleeding maybe? Hopefully the scan will reveal more!

@PapercraftNinja I have lots of reasons and symptoms thats why wm so confused:(
Have cramps and bubbly feeling for two weeks, breast sensitive way before period, some pain on the left side ( this is still there- sometimes on right side), white discharge sticky and cheesy like, period early- started and ended with brown discharge ( and it was not really bright red as usual, more like dark red to brown) and also intermittent came and went and also a few times only found spotts on pad.. but then test was negative. Now just have to wait for scan.. takes forever:( oh and for last few days I feel warmth/ hot feeling down there, dont know how to explain it..

@1boo1 how are your twinges going? Since I've woken up this morning they've been none stop for me on the right side, making me paranoid again 🤦🏼‍♀️

@sneakpeek1414 I had quite a few ones that made me wince yesterday 😖 unnerved me a bit too but then remembered this thread and that were all feeling the same! Also felt quite dizzy when getting up all afternoon yesterday too so decided that's a good sign 😂 when probably has no bearing on it at all!

@1boo1 I've been feeling dizzy too! Doctor Google told me it la from the changes in blood pressure, a good sign surely! Haha 😆

Yes my twinges feel different today, they're happening more often and not even when I change position! It really is just a constant bloody worry!

@sneakpeek1414 Dr Google also told me this 😂 I read in one of my books about blood flow/pressure: 'In the non pregnant state the uterus receives around 2% of the total amount of blood pumped through the heart per minute. Very early in pregnancy, this percentage increases dramatically and by the end of this trimester 25% of your cardiac output will be directed to the uterus to cope with the demands of the placenta and baby.'

Thought that was amazing and makes sense with the dizziness! Read something about how much blood in pints increases too in the body but can't find it!

Hope the twinges ease up for you! I've only had a few today but the other day was a LOT! X

Morning ladies! How are you feeling about the COVID roadmap? It actually sent me into a bit of a panic around whether the vaccine will become available for pregnant women or whether I'll have to lock myself away in the third trimester as the rest of the world gets back to normal...

@englishgirlinscotland I've not given the vaccine a second thought.. Definitely won't be having it whilst pregnant regardless of whether the guidelines for it change. Not enough research and its not too long until October anyway. Try not to worry!

Just got my positive today! Only got my implant removed about 6 weeks ago so shocked it happened so quickly. Took a year to conceive my first!

How is everyone doing today? All my symptoms seem to have subsided today so now I'm obviously worried about that!
Worry about every minor symptom, worry when there's no symptoms - when will the anxiety end?! Haha

Mine have also subsided. Occasional waves of nausea and feeling very chubby, but not much else.

Only 3 sleeps until my scan so just on the countdown for that.

Mine have subsided too! Boobs only very slightly sore, I am tired though!

Registered with the hospital this morning so waiting for my letter for my booking app with the midwife!

Can't wait til we've all had our scans 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Hi. Just introducing myself. I’m about 7/8 weeks with surprise baby number 5. Feeling lots of emotions and physically pretty crap, seems to get worse as the day goes on...anyone else the same? Hope everyone is doing ok today and not too consumed with anxiety x

Same here, 5+3 today and not too many symptoms, little dizziness when I get up quickly, tired but can't sleep.. and boobs still bigger (woohoo)

Focused on countdown for early scan a week on Saturday 😊

@TonightMatthew I kow what you mean about feeling very chubby! I'm very aware of my stomach!

@1boo1 my boobs don't seem any bigger (although there is already plenty of boob there!) but they do seem veinier than normal?!

Still trying to decide about when to book for an early scan - I think I might try and wait until 8 weeks but seems soooo far away still!

@MTB2410 think only really noticeable on me as usually I have very tiny boobs 😂 so feel like I've had a mini boob job! Little bit veiny too!

I'm really excited now mine is booked.. Still obviously worry over daft things but it's nice to look forward to x

I am one of 6 (5 surviving) and we all turned out well. I actually really loved it growing up, and we're close as adults. I'm really apprehensive about having my 3rd, also a total surprise. Just can't imagine how I'm going to cope when I already have 2 little terrors ruling over me

Mine will be the tenth grandchild born within a decade on my side, they're all super close and love each other. So you have you that to look forward to in approx 30 years...

Am I the only one who is 6+2 and have no symptoms other than just tiredness. That's it?

Mine are definitely quite vague. Occasional nausea, waking up a bit early, bit of gas, tender boobs but tbh if I wasn't aware I was pregnant it wouldn't be enough to make me check. I would just think I was feeling a bit off.

Weeks 4-5 had a lot of cramping and odd pains but that's all gone.

The symptoms I did have have definitely gone now, my boobs don't hurt at all and that was my main thing.

I am a bit tired and also waking up a bit early but like others have said I wouldn't notice that if I didn't know I was pregnant!

Its killing me not constantly doing tests!

It really is so tough! My boobs feel like they are starting to get sore, and my nipples feel like someone has chewed them But just that and the tiredness! I was having cramps also, all of last week and the beginning of this but they have definitely eased now. I haven't tested since last Saturday, I have my scan this Wednesday coming.

@Fawn68 I am 6+3 and until yesterday I had no symptoms at all. I was starting to think I was lucky and might get away with it. Then bang the sickness hit me yesterday and wiped me out! Must have jinxed myself! Feeling better today but still a little queasy.

I am still having symptoms like cramps, stretchy tingly feeling in lower abdomen, some pain on left side every now and then and tiredness. When settled in the evening on sofa there's a lot going on down there, feels like vibration, warm and tingly kind of feeling, hard to describe. Also going to toilet around 5 am most mornings and awake before alarm. Bleeding stopped two days ago, it was followed by thick clear discharge( sorry for details)
Tomorrow at 6pm I have three scans hapenning to see if I am pregnant ( tests all negative all this time) or to see if anything else is happening down there.. they also looking at bladder and kidney and doing intravaginal camera, am soooo nervous:((!! Dont know how am gonna sleep tonight😕
