36 weeks and baby is ‘quiet’ today

I normally feel him first thing in the morning when I wake up but I haven’t this morning. I came downstairs and had a coffee (that usually makes him move) he moved slightly (flutters but not as strong as normal) I’ve had a lie down on my left side as this usually gets him moving too but no movement. Is it normal to have ‘quiet’ days? I’ve had 3 growth scans so far and at each scan he has slightly dropped. He started on the 90th percentile and he’s now on the 50th. The doctor wasn’t overly concerned but I have to go back in 12 days for another scan and she said depending on the result of the scan I may need to be induced a little earlier. I will phone triage but I feel a bit silly doing so considering I have had a few flutters

@Sparkles556 How are you getting on? I had an induction with my second so know how you feel with the pain.

Hi everyone. Got examined last night at 10 and nothing had changed. Midwife decided to let me rest over night rather than do anything (which I was kind of glad about as I was knackered) I’ve just been examined again and surprise surprise no change🙄 but she gave me the 6 hour peasant so🤞🏼

My best (of 5) birth was the one i had had a good sleep and not spent the night in agony

Sooooo if I don’t laugh I’ll cry🙃 So about an hour after having the tablet inserted it decided to come out whilst I was having a wee! I have to wait for a doctor now to prescribe another which will I just know will take a while😴 I’m also bleeding now? Only quite lightly and it’s not bright red, more pinky (sorry tmi) but midwife doesn’t seem concerned and says it may be a good sign? I hope so

Had another pessary put in at 1:30, stayed in bed lying down as advised by midwife unless I need the toilet so fingers crossed this one will work🤞🏼When I was examined I was still 1cm😒 but apparently my cervix has softened since this morning and the midwife thinks my waters may be able to be broken when I get checked at around 7:30! I’ll let you all know what they say when I’ve been examined again! Let’s hope this evening/tonight my stubborn cervix will have opened more

Keep going ! As you are in a room by yourself, get tweaking those nipples, as it can help things along.
