36 weeks and baby is ‘quiet’ today

I normally feel him first thing in the morning when I wake up but I haven’t this morning. I came downstairs and had a coffee (that usually makes him move) he moved slightly (flutters but not as strong as normal) I’ve had a lie down on my left side as this usually gets him moving too but no movement. Is it normal to have ‘quiet’ days? I’ve had 3 growth scans so far and at each scan he has slightly dropped. He started on the 90th percentile and he’s now on the 50th. The doctor wasn’t overly concerned but I have to go back in 12 days for another scan and she said depending on the result of the scan I may need to be induced a little earlier. I will phone triage but I feel a bit silly doing so considering I have had a few fluttersConfused

Good luck OP. If you had to be induced or have a section early because of this try not to worry too much, I had my twins in my 36th week and, other than one night in NICU for the smallest one, everything was fine!

At my last growth scan at 35+2 he weighed 6lb 4oz so I think that’s a good size?

Sending love OP x I've been there with reduced movement and all was fine, but I understand your anxiety. Pregnancy is just so anxiety provoking! Hope you get some more reassuring news soon x

It really is so worrying! I just want it all to be over now I’m at the point where I’ve had enoughGrin But not too much longer now. I’ve downloaded Netflix so I’ve got a bit of something to occupy me!

Hope you’re okay OP. I went in for a check up at 35+1 as I wasn’t feeling well - one of my twins had completely stopped moving and had a static heartrate. I had an emergency caesarean right away. I’m so glad you went in so they can monitor the situation.

He had IUGR (not diagnosed previously) and was only 3.5lb so your last growth scan sounds positive, but if they feel your baby is not doing well enough then they will act. Try to get some rest and take comfort you’re in the right place!

Thanks everyoneSmile @Mummyspider27 no I didn’t get much sleep, eyes are stingingSad but I’ve been very looked after so I can’t complain.

@ChunkyButFunky87 I was put on the monitor at about 1, wasn’t told if it was good or bad and I’m currently back on it! Been a long day x
