It’s a little early but thought it would be nice to have a thread for those of us due babies in October.

I’m due DC2 on the 9th (according to online calculator) and only found out yesterday.

Anyone want to join?!

Sorry to jump on this thread as I’m not actually due in October! Am 8 weeks with a due date of early Sept but had an early scan at the weekend and measured 6+2 with no HB yet instead of 7+4. Have to wait to be rescanned in a week to see if there is a HB but I’m expecting a MMC. I had one before I had my 18 month old also. For my last miscarriage I had a medically managed miscarriage and they told me I had to wait 2 cycles to ttc again. I just wondered if that was the case after a D&C if anyone could tell me?
I see a couple of others have recently had MMC as well x

I got my BFP on the 24th, will be my first child so feeling very overwhelmed but excited! Due on 5th October, so currently around 5 weeks. I had cramps from 10 days before my period was due and they are still coming and going. They are more niggly than painful. I spoke to my GP and she reassured me it is very normal, and said to call EPU if pain gets worse or any bleeding.

Have booked an early scan for 7 weeks, twins run in my family and I need to know that kind of thing sooner rather than later! 🙈

Hi everyone! I’m due end of September, so anxious and just want days to pass quicker! Also so tired and cramps here and there. I’ve been Googling and over thinking probably but does anyone know if you should avoid baths - I read something about temperature.

@Jangirl03 so very sorry to hear that, however still have hope ❤️, I was told one cycle is fine but personally I feel whenever you are ready is best.

Hi girls, please can I join? I'm currently 4wks +5 due on 6th October. Had my first back in 2019 but this time I feel a lot more anxious. Will look into booking an early scan as I'm not sure I can wait until 12 weeks.

Hope it’s ok to join, I’m 6 weeks exactly tomorrow going by lmp. I’ve had cramps most days since I found out some more severe than others. Not Saturday there but the one before I phoned nhs 24 they told me to go to a&e, I got bloods and they were happy to send me home as no bleed. I have an early scan Wednesday I’m really nervous and praying for good news. I had a mc March 2019 and we’ve been trying since Oct 2018 so I’m so anxious we were seeking fertility treatment before Covid. I was worried I have endometriosis

I’d love to join too please. Just got my BFP today, have been TTC for 7 months. I sort of felt like I knew that I was pregnant for a few days before I got a positive test, so nice to now have the test to prove it. DH thinks I’m insane for saying that but I felt exactly the same with my DD, I just knew! Did anyone else feel like that?

Anyway, my due date is 11th Oct according to my app. This will be our second child, DD was born in 2019. Felt quite anxious in my first pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, so trying very hard to keep that at bay this time around!

@Tilly0756 @Bunnyears85 @brokenheart013 definitely glad to have others who have the same fears 😊 are any of you doing anything differently this time? I’m just going to try and stay as positive as I can and take it a day at a time! I paid for an early scan last time at 7 weeks so considering that again. EPU also told me they’d offer me an early scan at 8/9 weeks as that was the time of my MMC which I’m really happy about!

Sorry to hear what’s happening @Jangirl03 I really hope it all works out for you and that there was just a miscalculation of dates 🤞🏻 I had surgical management for mine (think it’s the same as D&C) in December. They never told me to wait and instead told me I could be more fertile and so I should be careful if I wasn’t ready to try again. On another group I’m in (TTC after miscarriage - a lovely bunch of girls that I highly recommend if you need) some were told just to wait one cycle, but it’s only for dating purposes rather than needing to.

Have been wondering the same @SRyellow I’ve read mixed opinions where some have got them as it helps, but also others who have used thermometers to check the temp isn’t too high. I really want to get one tomorrow too! It’s been part of my winter routine to enjoy one a week with a nice bath bomb 🙈

Same due date as my @Spillanelle 😊 I went through phases. I’ve been trying hard to be positive the last few weeks so don’t know if I was starting to convince myself I was. Other times I got really fed up during that super long two week wait and was like nope, AF is coming, I can feel it 😂

@Moonstone12 I did that last time 😂 tested every day for like a week. Will probably do the same again. I think I’m just like are you sure there’s a baby in there?!

@PumpkinEverything I love a bath most nights and it helps to relax me but course will stop if it’s risky but nothing clear online.

That’s really good about the early scan. I’ve booked a private one for 8 weeks as just want some reassurance that everything’s ok

It’s so hard to know @SRyellow 🤦‍♀️ I think from what I can gather it’s okay as long as it’s warm rather than hot. I just read there as well that you should test with your elbow and it shouldn’t be so hot you need to lower yourself in, change colour or sweat.
I need the reassurance too. I think especially during this lockdown the time is going so slowly so it feels like 12 weeks is forever away

I am due 6th October, so 4 weeks and 5 days. I can't stop smiling! I know a long way to go and am scared stiff of all the scans and screenings.

I'm 38 and this is my first child ☺️

@icecreamsundaesprinkles - I haven’t really had much by the way of symptoms either, apart from feeling really tired (but that’s pretty normal for me generally 😂)

I’m dreading the morning sickness, I thought I’d gotten away with it in my first pregnancy as it didn’t start until about 8 weeks, but then it hit with full force 🤢

@PumpkinEverything @SRyellow think baths are fine just needs to be warm rather than hot. I love baths so much! 💕

I've had quite a few symptoms. Boobs defo feel bigger and hurt. Lots of cramps. Constipation (tmi?). Thicker cervical mucus (tmi?). Already feeling pretty nauseous too. I had a suspicion I was preggo at 4dpo, weird astrigent taste in my mouth, stuffy nose and felt dizzy a few times when I got up.

Can I join ladies??? I just found out yesterday after thinking AF was coming for days and am 4+4, showing a due date of 9th of October. Two days before my birthday! I've had cramping and very light brown CM off and on since 12DPO so I didn't expect a BFP at all.
The cramping has made me really nervous too, but its nice to see that a lot of you are also having this and it could be normal??
We have been TTC for 12 months and this is my first BFP so I am naturally nervous but also excited. Congrats to everyone, such an exciting thing to experience :)

I’ve had the sore boobs, cramps, constipation and cm too. I need to go to the shops tomorrow to get some fibre 😂

Can I join? I am due 30th Sep/1st Oct. I’m not on Facebook so have been reading anything and everything on here.

Currently having to go to the epu every few days to keep an eye on the little sesame seed after some really bad cramps a couple of weeks ago but things seem to be progressing. I have got my last epu scan this Thursday. It’s so hard not to tell my mum, sister or best friends. How are you all finding it?

@jules5232 we have been trying for just over a year and I think I cried buckets when I finally saw a BFP.

Hello 👋 can I join please?
I’m due 2nd of October. This is my third pregnancy, I had an early miscarriage and MMC in week 11 last year. No other children so this is our first.
Symptoms wise not much here, sore boobs which started at about 8-9DPO and slight pressure down there from time to time almost period like feeling. We have booked private scan for 8 weeks, I’m 5+3 at the moment and very anxious due to previous losses 😩
