It’s a little early but thought it would be nice to have a thread for those of us due babies in October.

I’m due DC2 on the 9th (according to online calculator) and only found out yesterday.

Anyone want to join?!

Hi 👋 hope it's ok to join. I'm also due October, although I really don't know when. My last period was 21st Dec but cycles are 39 days long. I think I ovulated 17th Jan which would make me 4 weeks today but 6 weeks from last period. I'm really worried about things going wrong. Every time I go to the toilet I'm anxiously checking for signs something is wrong. I'm definitely going to have an early scan around 8 weeks to give me a bit more re-assurance. I feel fine in myself and no symptoms but yesterday I was so moody and hormonal I just cried on and off all day long for no real reason it was draining.

Hi! This is such an amazing group and I'd love to join! I'm 4+2 and found out only three days ago but I knew before cause of tiredness and non-stop hunger. Truly scared and scarred as had a mmc and a d&c as the mmc didn't work in Nov 2020. Would love to be part of this community and join the Facebook group as well

Morning all, hope you slept well. I woke up to some cramps and I am freaking outlying really feels like period pains

@brokenheart013 I've been having cramps on and off for the past few days! I think it's your belly expanding/body getting for this growing baby. Think positive!

@brokenheart013 try not to worry (easier said than done!) how bad are the cramps? I found in my first round of pregnancy that the EPU were really helpful if you call them. They can provide support but also if you tell your GP you're worried hopefully you should have a referral within a day to the EPU, they're really quick. Not worth worrying, trust me!

@justteaplease and@Tilly0756 thanks ladies.the pain has eased a little now.l cant wait to reach 12 weeks and then relax.lts just that I had a mc in November at 8 weeks .

I found out on Friday and it doesn’t really feel real yet!

So exciting! The midwife has just called and my booking appointment is 3/3. She didn't offer an early scan so I think I will book a private one. Is anyone else going to?

@brokenheart013 I get it I had a mmc and d&c in November as well so the fear is real. Makes you think everything is a problem doesn't it?! It's so stressful and it feels like 12 week scan is AGES away. Since I had a mmc before the EPU is taking me on now straight away as a patient so will get early scan etc done. Maybe check if they'd do the same for you?

@Tilly0756 @brokenheart013 some boat as you two. I had surgical management for a MMC on the 8th December. Found out on the 25th November that baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks. I was really really anxious my last pregnancy, but feeling happy and excited today so really hoping this all works out for us this time!

Anyone else feeling really tired!? 😴😩 I'm struggling at work today, just want to go home and lie on the couch! I'm normally quite active but just feeling knackered and no motivation to do anything!

@Optimistic2021 Yes!! I normally run/ride the horse/walk the dog everyday, but I’m shattered and just want to lie on the sofa ignoring all the work piling up in my inbox 🙈

Our baby also stopped growing at 8/9 weeks last October. Feeling happy and positive... that's all we can do for now! I think I'm 5 weeks today with DC3 (Pregnancy 4) Happy and healthy pregnancy to all! I can't join the FB group just yet as I went to request the lady who set it up as a friend but we have a friend in common So playing it safe!

Me too, I have been so tired today and I cant seem to concentrate. Dont know if that's the fact my mind is elsewhere or if I've just got too much of a workload 🙈.

I'm interested to hear what everyone's thought are on working whilst pregnant? I am a manager for a company and some of the engineers are doing site visits then coming back to work. I'm not sure if I should continue working in the office or request to be working from home!

@optimistic2021 super tried here too! I was in bed flat out by 9 on Friday and have been tired ever since. I actually get excited now to go to bed with my hot water bottle 😂

Hi everyone,
Congratulations on your BFPs! I got mine on Saturday and my fertility app says I’m due 7th October.
First pregnancy for me so it’s all very new and as we’ve chosen not to tell friends/ family just yet, I feel like I’m bursting with joy but it’s too early to let it show.
Self-referred to the midwife today but it takes up 14 days - I’m so impatient!!

Has anyone had no symptoms at all? X

Hi :) can I join you guys? I'm on a couple of these October groups as not telling anyone is so hard!

I got my BFP Wednesday and a clear one Thursday. I've tested again today and it's not so clear and I've some cramps now too. So I'm worrying like crazy. This will be number 5 for me and the stress is still the same! Going to test tomorrow just in case although I know I should stop.

I'm 4 weeks today so very very early and I heard from the midwives today too. Got my booking over the phone on March 1st (if this bean sticks)

Anyone else as crazy as me? I said on another thread not to Keep testing and here I am ignoring my own advice 😂😂😂
