It’s a little early but thought it would be nice to have a thread for those of us due babies in October.

I’m due DC2 on the 9th (according to online calculator) and only found out yesterday.

Anyone want to join?!

BFP today! Faint line on a £1 test - going to retest on a more sensitive test! Estimated due date 9th October - baby no 2 xx

@justteaplease I’ve been having some cramps too, not too strong but on and off for a few days. I’ve seen quite a few other people say they had them in the early weeks- just the womb making space - hopefully all fine!

@justteaplease my periods were due last Sunday and had period type cramps last weekend, was convinced my periods were about to start! Woke up on Monday and the cramps had settled but no period so did a test and it was positive. I kept saying to my partner I know what period cramps feel like and that's what these are 😂😂 happy to be wrong on that occasion!

@justteaplease I had a day off from testing yesterday since finding out Monday 😂 but tempted to do an ic later!

@XSunflower ok good it's not just me haha! I did one this morning and the line is so clear it made me giddy!

I haven't done one since Tuesday, scared incase it comes back negative 😂😂 might do another one tomorrow morning!

Has anyone had any symptoms yet? I cant believe how anxious I am..

@icecreamsundaesprinkles I haven’t had none I’m 5+2 weeks. I keep getting period like pains but that’s it feel fine otherwise, and I’m on medication as I got pregnant through ivf and no symptoms from that either.

@justteaplease l have those cramps too and a bit worrisome.
@icecreamsundaesprinkles , l have nausea but I sometimes get that just before af🙆🏽‍♀️, and l cant stand the smell of meat when boiling it .not sure if heartburn is a symptom or l am just sick lol.lf all this is for real and continuous,l am in trouble.

Congratulations to all the newbies! With my daughters pregnancy in 2019 my symptoms hit me at about 8w like a ton of bricks

Baby number 1 here. Quite scared, wonder what the hell I am doing but also CANNOT wait.

Do people count from the day of their last period? In which case I would be 4+3...
@brokenheart013 yes and a lot of gas. I keep feeling like I’ve had a 3 course meal, bottle of wine and a few espresso martinis. Sadly not the case.

I definitely think I feel hormonal and quite moody? I don’t think i get PMS normally , but I imagine it feels like that? Anyone else?

Is anyone getting light headed? I have been on iron tablets before a few years ago and it feels like I did before I started them. is it worth me bringing up sooner with my gp, or just wait until the first appointment?

@icecreamsundaesprinkles how are you feeling now dear. I have been trying all home remedies and nothing seems to help.

Welcome to the new people and congrats! I’m 4+2 weeks too @brokenheart013 only symptom so far is sore boobs, and maybe a bit more tired. Though I did feel quite emotional today, but not sure if it’s pregnancy related... feeling much more anxious about it than I thought I would too, just want to get through the next through weeks!
