I am starting this thread a bit early. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got a faint positive, which was much darker today. My due date would be the 29 September, but this is my second child and my first was super late, so am assuming this will really be an October baby.

I have been following this thread but have been too terrified to join! Here goes...
I am almost 6 weeks (due around the 2nd Oct I think) this is our first however had a traumatic Mc a few years ago. Because of this I am having a dating scan on Friday but have been spotting brown discharge for a few days now - absolutely terrified. Last night I had some pink when I wiped but have had brown again since.
I haven’t had many symptoms at all so as much as I’m hoping and praying I don’t have a good feeling. Any advice / experience welcome x

So far I've not had any symptoms so I actually keep thinking 'am I actually pregnant?' And also yesterday I started with an awful ear infection in so much pain so not feeling great.

Digital BFP yesterday, in shock, 4 weeks tomorrow.

Ahh that’s reassuring to know. I’ve read so much about killer boobs and nausea and I’ve just had minor of both (to the point where I wonder if it’s just in my head!)
The spotting seems to have stopped since 1st thing yesterday so I’m praying that’s it now. Terrified about tomorrow if I’m honest - I just hope they see something developing in there.
Will you be having an early scan? Is this your first too? Xx

@penguin7 Have you spoken to your dr? I’m sure they’ll be able to prescribe something that is safe. I hope it heals quickly for you.

Yes this is our first too - I’m exactly the same!
I’m currently furloughed too so my mind is constantly on overdrive thinking about it. I’m such a worrier too, I’ll definitely be booking in an early scan (8-9 weeks) for my own peace of mind if tomorrow is positive news.

@BAR2 I went to my local walk in centre yesterday they've given me an ear spray and said I can take paracetamol.

I rang my doctors last week and completed a form for the midwife. They rang me and I've got my booking in appointment 23rd Feb. So I will be around 8/9 weeks then.

Ah ok that’s good, hopefully it will kick in soon.

That’s good news, the wait is so hard isn’t it?
I’ve spoke with my Dr who has referred me for the scan tomorrow and based on that we’ll take it from there I think. God I just want this day to be over already so I know more.

I’ve just had more brown spotting this morning - it seems to be worse when I first get up x

I think brown coloured spotting is normal? After reading different posts on here I think some people experience that.

I really hope so, I’ve read mixed reviews on it on here too so just hoping it eases off and doesn’t develop.

Hi everyone, hope I can join this forum. I am SO new to this. I have just found out I am about 4 weeks for the first time. Feeling a bit anxious and all the emotions/not knowing what I should be feeling at the stage and just worried it's a false positive - does that happen????

Welcome @FirstTime21 think there are quite a lot of people going through this for the first time 😊 I had a MMC in November after 8 weeks and that was my first pregnancy so still feels new to me too!
I would say to put your mind at ease maybe take a different brand test 😊 it would be unlikely you’d get a false positive on two different ones! A lot of us just keep taking tests repeatedly to check😂

Hi ladies can I tentatively join please? I got my BFP yesterday morning at 15pdo. Going by the first day of my last period (8th Jan) I’m only 3 weeks +6 which seems ridiculously early but I think this is because I have fairly short cycles of 26 days.

So going by the NHS due date calculator I’m due 13 October. Congratulations to all 🥰 xx

Oh amazing @babybumpfor2021 is your estimate due date 13 October too? I honestly feel like a fraud because I don’t have any symptoms 😂 I’m sure it won’t stay that way for long though! How are you feeling? Is this your first baby? Xx

@BAR2 i just wanted to pop on to offer some reassurance to you, I had brown spotting on and off for about 9 days when i got my BFP (had some pink too!) i was feeling exactly the same as you due to previous MC but i had a scan on Sunday at almost 7 weeks and baby was measuring 6w6d with a heartbeat-I know its still early days and its easy to say not to worry but try not to panic too much. My midwife said it can be worse in the morning as it can pool in your vaginal canal overnight and then comes out when you go to the toilet.

Mine dried up and then i had a little bit on Tuesday after the internal ultrasound and its gone again now xxx

@unicornpower ahh thank you so much for reaching out. Congratulations on your positive scan! Yes I’m definitely worrying but trying to relax and not do too much, only 1 more sleep now thankfully. It’s definitely worse in the morning (thickish brown discharge - sorry if tmi 🤦🏼‍♀️) and then throughout the day it’s barely there really.
I guess I’m just really nervous as on top of this I don’t really have any symptoms at all, and those I do feel like I had ever so slightly I’m worried are just in my head. Xxx

I just got the BFP today although I had a feeling all week due to lots of symptoms. I’m so happy!

It’s my third pregnancy after a mc at 9 weeks in October and a very early mc/chemical in November.

I’m 4 weeks today and due on 14th October! So happy and excited! Fingers crossed this will be our 🌈

I have pcos and am on metformin and low dose aspirin as well as myo inositol. It seems to work a treat so far.

@Sauerkrauted oh that’s exciting 😄 I know exactly what you mean! We’re so excited but very aware that it’s soooo early still! But I’m just trying to be positive. How are you feeling do you have any symptoms? Xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter congratulations! Not really many symptoms so far except some light cramps but not nearly as bad as period cramps. There’s been a few times I’ve felt nauseous while eating but not sure if that’s just in my head. What about you, any symptoms so far?
