@Loti92 I had to chase mine. I filled in the form twice because I was convinced I must have messed it up the first time as it said someone would be in contact in 10 days and they weren’t and I’m now 8 weeks so wanted to get it in the diary soon!. I eventually rang and got it sorted there and then on the phone.

My brother in law has just dropped a lovely wrapped bottle and his parting words of “it’s a good one that” - bless him.
I’ve opened it early and it’s a lovely bottle of blood orange gin which my OH has kindly offered to drink on my behalf 😂

@WinterBabyof89 I got a parcel today and the box it came in said Gin sooo got a feeling I know what is inside.

ALB what a rollercoaster! You must be feeling so many things at the moment. I suppose at least Christmas will be a distraction in the meantime but waiting for news is so hard at the best of times!

Oh is it the Malfy gin? That's lovely, it'll be worth the wait.

I'm so annoyed by the capacity of my stomach, anyone else? I find I'm feeling totally uncomfortably full after a perfectly normal sized meal for hours! It's making me really frustrated and not helping the nausea. DH reckons it was like this for me at the start before as well.

@Lililou it’s a JJ Whitley one - I’ve never had it but the bottle is very pretty with swirls ha

@BertieBotts funny how we can’t remember the early days of other pregnancies isn’t it!
I know what you mean about feeling full. Can definitely feel the digestive tract slowing down so might need to stock up on some constipation relievers ahead of time. There are so many to choose from though.

@BertieBotts oh my goodness yes! I just finished my dinner and was trying to figure out why I'm so full - it was a decent size but I hardly ate lunch and haven't been snacking. It's been frequent I've felt that way the past week or two, and haven't actually put two and two together until you said that!

@BertieBotts definitely grateful for the Christmas distraction. Keeping focusing on that little heartbeat hoping that he or she stays out. Any more little peanuts to add into the mix will be a bonus.

Are you finding your stomach is massively bloating afterwards too? I can't do my jeans up 😂

Hope it’s ok to join, was on one of the other threads, I’m due 10th August with my second, had a lot of problems in my first pregnancy and my DD was diagnosed with cerebral palsy this February which they think is linked to the issues I had. Although her cp is thankfully very mild.
Let’s hope this time round it’s a lot smoother (although morning sickness is already horrendous)

I'm pregnant with my first, first pregnancy and about 5 weeks.

Not heard back about booking appointment but had my reffereal back from Endocrinologist and they have advised me to up my Levothyroxine to 125mg, appointment 5th Feb.

Thinking about booking a private scan for 10 weeks so DH can come.

Boobs sore and bigger, feel slightly sick, but tummy grumbling more annoying right now.

Got though a cocktail making Zoom with work yesterday but going to tell family at Xmas.

@NotMeekNotObedient have you been under active for a while? I've just started on 25mg LevoThyroxine because I was sub-clinical but have a message to ring GP next week, so wondering what my bloods are showing now x

I think the nausea is starting to hit me now slowly also, though only after eating and mostly just later in the evening. Kinda made a decision today to do a private covid test and actually still fly home for Christmas ( requires another test at the airport again also on arrival) so will decide there if telling family or not. Right now think I might tell my sis and my parents but final decision will happen depends on how I feel.

@alittlexmasmagic I had Graves disease (overactive), treated with radioactive iodine so my thyroid doesn't work at all. So I now have to take Levothyroxine all the time and because I can't make any more I need to up the dose for the baby in pregnancy. Aparrently I will need to be monitored for some Graves antibodies too. The BTF website has some useful info on pregnancy and thyroid problems www.btf-thyroid.org/thyroid-disorders-and-pregnancy

FTM here! According to the tests and the symptoms I am 4 weeks pregnant (yay!) I’ve noticed brown discharge when I wipe this evening, should I be worried? Taking another test tomorrow to confirm and get the BFP 🙏🏼🤞

Hi everyone! I’ve been reading and following but thought I may as well just join in! I’ve had two previous miscarriages just before my 12 week scans and have been trying for baby no 2 for 3 years!
Finally pregnant again now and went for a private scan yesterday to figure out dates so I am 5w 6d :)
At the scan, she asked me to come back in 2 weeks as she was unsure if there’s actually two baby’s! (My paranoid brain is wondering if it was a bleed she could see as it was like a foggy shadow in the corner!) but I’m thinking she wouldn’t ask me to come back in 2 weeks if she thought that. However, we did see the heartbeat which I read on here is early so that was super lucky :) but we are so confused over the twin bit as we both don’t have twins in our families and never have so it’s never been something I’ve ever thought about! Has anyone had this on a scan before or had twins without ever having twins in the family?! Xxx
