Just that really! I have just got a bfp and feeling excited but also nervous. I have two DS aged 6 and 3. Always wanted three but the timing (covid) and the reality are a bit Shock

Would love to hear from others!

Hi,
Congrats on your pregnancy!
I just found out I’m pregnant with third last week. I’ve got 2 boys aged 11 and 7. Excited and nervous! X

Lollol86 · 08/12/2020 14:10

@JChina I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. I have 2 dd and this one is also a girl. It is scary thinking we will soon be outnumbered but still so exciting 🥰

Honeydukesmum · 08/12/2020 14:13

Hi :) 17 weeks with a boy bouncy bean ( by NIPt harmony results) . Have 3 year and 17 month girls who are a mix of excited and bemusement at the news 😂

Isit2021yetplease · 08/12/2020 14:14

Yes! I'm 12 weeks with a slightly surprise 3rd. Have 2 DS 3 and 1. Did NIPT and it said girl - which I'm so excited for, however I've got totally paranoid the NIPT will be wrong so not announcing until 20 week scan!

How pregnant are you OP?

starsinyourpies · 08/12/2020 14:20

Yes have two DC, 6& 3 and expecting DC3

JChina · 08/12/2020 15:01

Hello all! Nice to see I'm not alone! It feels like a crazy world for these babies to be born into but if this year has taught me anything it's that you need your family so much, so feels good to be adding to my little brood, if nerve-wracking.

@Isit2021yetplease I only just got my BFP so I think my due date is likely to be something like 17th August if everything goes well. Exciting on your NIPT results, they are extremely reliable so I would trust it (I had it with my younger son).

@BerylSilverstone Congratulations, seems like we are at very similar stages then!

@Honeydukesmum love your description of their reaction! My sons will be SO excited, although I think they are under the illusion that they can just request a sister and that will be what happens...there's a good chance they'll be in for a shock!

@starsinyourpies ah our kids are the same ages! I am hoping it is going to be a manageable gap! I found the 2.7 years between our boys a nice gap but really exhausting when they were small. They are brilliant together now though.

@Lollol86 three girls will be great fun! I am one of three girls, we have big age gaps though but they are some of my closest friends now we are grown up.

Hi, I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my third. I have a 5 year old boy, 4 year old boy and this one is a girl.

Isit2021yetplease · 08/12/2020 19:17

Does anyone else feel even more anxious with this pregnancy? I would’ve thought it would get easier but actually I’m not sure if we’d try again if anything happens, so I feel so paranoid about this one in a way I didn’t have quite the same “last chance” anxiety with the others!

JChina · 09/12/2020 11:39

@Isit2021yetplease I am yes, and also very anxious about the change to the family dynamic, even though it's what we wanted. But I am thinking anxiety is pretty normal at the moment with the year everyone has had!

Congratulations! :)

I'm 8 weeks with my 3rd now. My two are 12 and 8. I'm a bit overwhelmed as I thought I was 'done' so to speak! but also excited. Don't think my body is coping with pregnancy as well as it was the first two times though what with being almost 10 years older. I can't remember it being this difficult!

kayde12 · 09/12/2020 12:54

Hi everyone,

I’m pregnant with my 3rd and have 7 year age gaps between my boys- aged 14 and 7!

This pregnancy has been the hardest 🤢 by a mile but we’re very happy and excited for the new addition to make our family complete.

Mylasmummy2102 · 09/12/2020 13:14

I'm pregnant with my third I'm 10 weeks I already have girls 11 and 5 abs by far this is been the hardest I'm sick all the time had horrible back ache and headaches but still very excited I only want 3 so this will be last one xx

KB13 · 09/12/2020 20:30

I’m 28 weeks with my 3rd. I have 2 girls 8 + 6 and this one is a little boy.

@mariebaby3 I get what you mean. I’m struggling massively with this pregnancy. I have SPD which I didn’t have with my other 2, I don’t sleep, I’m shielding as I’m also asthmatic. So having to stay in all the time is difficult as well. Just keep telling myself it will all be worth it once he’s here 🥰

JChina · 10/12/2020 09:51

Congratulations everyone! It seems like most of us have come to this with bigger gaps which will hopefully help ease things when the babies are here! I love organising so am already thinking ahead to how we'll manage prams and car seats and such like!

My boys are going to be so excited although I know they will both want a sister - but there are no girls in DH's family at all so doesn't feel especially likely. I am happy with either - absolutely love having boys but a girl is welcome to the party too! :)

I am suddenly feeling quite overwhelmed today - still digesting the news I suppose! How is everyone else doing?

I’m 30 weeks pregnant with our third, we already have a girl and a boy 4 and 3. We’ve never found out the sex before the birth so we’ll be excited to see what this one is. This has been the hardest of the 3 pregnancies, I pretty much breezed through the other 2, small bumps and didn’t really feel uncomfortable until the end, I mean I did have morning sickness, but physically it wasn’t hard sleeping/walking until the very end, not this time!! At least I know I absolutely do not ever want to do this again 🤣🤣, I’m done!

Applecrumble24 · 14/12/2020 15:37

Well I think I can beat everyone with the age gap 😉 i have 2 girls, 20 and 22, from my previous relationship.... Currently pregnant with my DH's 1st

TisTheSeasonToEatLots · 14/12/2020 15:49

@Applecrumble24 that is an impressive age gap, I bet you feel like a first timer again!

Applecrumble24 · 14/12/2020 16:10

@TisTheSeasonToEatLots
Yes, exactly! Such a long time ago 😂😂

TisTheSeasonToEatLots · 14/12/2020 16:16

I’m sure it’ll all come flooding back 😆! I feel like I’ve never really been “out the zone” so a break would have been nice! Our youngest has only just decided to start sleeping in their own bed (some of the time) and he refused to give up breastfeeding until he was well over 2, he was still wanting to feed in the night aged 2 🙈. It was awful! I’d have quite liked 20 years off before I dove back in felt I needed it 😆😆, unfortunately I waited until my 30s to have kids!

Applecrumble24 · 14/12/2020 16:53

@TisTheSeasonToEatLots
Oh my goodness, poor you! Although if you did have a break, you probably wouldn't have wanted to get back in after that 😄 it was certainly a big decision for me!

InTheFamilyTree · 14/12/2020 20:37

I'm 21 weeks, found out today am having a third girl (poor DH when puberty and the menopause hit!). Am huge, tired and wheezy right now. But always wanted 3 so assuming this one will just slot right in.

Mishmased · 14/12/2020 21:26

Congratulations! Can I join ye please 😊😊 I'm 16 weeks pregnant with third baby. I have two boys aged 7.5 and 5 so will be 8 and 5 when baby is born in May. And yes most difficult pregnancy so far. But I never had any pregnancy symptoms on the other two apart from my bump but now I have to take anti sickness meds, been to A&E three times, started having SPD at 9 weeks so been seeing an osteopath. I could go on! But I'm super excited, after my twelve week scan I took my astra to the car seat dealers to check they can fit three seats across the back. Saves me buying a new car or the multimac. When is everyone die?

Mishmased · 14/12/2020 23:25

I meant when is everyone due not die 🤭

Waitingforbabypage · 15/12/2020 06:39

Currently 15 weeks with my third. 2 other kiddos from a previous marriage aged 11 & 8. Haven't managed to tell them yet, I'm not sure how they're going to take it- not that they have much of a choice but I have a nasty feeling they won't be impressed.
This pregnancy has been the worst out of the 3 so far, constant nausea and migraines, exhaustion and now spd has kicked in. All the joys!
I'm still very happy and grateful for this baby though.
