Just that really! I have just got a bfp and feeling excited but also nervous. I have two DS aged 6 and 3. Always wanted three but the timing (covid) and the reality are a bit Shock

Would love to hear from others!

@MissBPotter no not at all, it’s a huge age gap lol it’s quite scary to think I’ll have two adults in their 20’s and a child that’s less than 10yo. My daughters really wanted a little sister but thankfully have come around to the idea of a little brother now but made it clear there will be no nappy help from either of them Grin
I naively thought when ttc that I would have a home birth and covid would be a distant memory by now but as you said they can’t guarantee a midwife and I’m even worrying about ambulances now should there be an emergency as our trust is completely overwhelmed at the moment. When are you due? I imagine you’re in the thick of early pregnancy fatigue at the moment!

@KB13 it’s becoming really worrying isn’t it! I see you have two daughters too and you’re having a little boy now too Smile I’m really suffering with pgp at the minute, I can’t physically do much at all now. 5 weeks and counting! I’m hoping it’s straight in and out too. I really don’t want to be in hospital longer than necessary. Were your last two early/late babies?

KB13 · 15/01/2021 10:07

@Highheels87 I suffered really badly with SPD about 10 weeks ago. But I was really lucky and managed to get referred to a physio who did acupuncture and it really worked. However due to covid I haven’t been able to see them since the week before Christmas, so it’s creeping back again :( I manage a small walk around our estate most evenings but that’s as much as I can do.

My first was born at 37+5 I was induced with her due to PPROM. My youngest was a week and a half late. I’m really hoping this one turns up on time 🙈. How about you?

Highheels87 · 15/01/2021 18:03

@KB13 it’s awful isn’t it. I’ve never had it before. I can’t even make it to the bottom of our cul de sac without being in agony.

Fingers crossed not another late one for you. Mine were 37 and 38 weeks so hoping for the same kind of timescale. Can’t imagine how stressful it is to go over I am already at the point that I’ve had enough lol. When are you due?

KB13 · 15/01/2021 18:24

@Highheels87 oh god same here and I’m not due until the 4th March. My eldest wants him to be born on the 18th Feb when I’m 38 weeks as it’s 6 days after her birthday. I’ll be happy with that date as well 😅 when are you due?

Highheels87 · 16/01/2021 07:48

@KB13 ha same here my children want him born on Valentine’s Day, I’m due on the 20th Feb. Only days apart aren’t we 😆 my family are convinced I’ll have baby early. I was having mild period pains and low back ache yesterday and had a little spotting which I’ve never had before in pregnancy so definitely feel like body is gearing up eeek! Bump feels like it’s dropped lower too. Just need to get to 37 weeks and I’m happy for baby to come anytime lol. Have you found carrying a boy completely different to your girls?

KB13 · 16/01/2021 15:19

I’ve been having mild period pains all day and lower back cramping and also think I lost some of my plug this morning. Hoping a bath and a nap will help. Not ready for him to make his arrival just yet 😬. It’s been so long since I last had a baby I don’t remember what any of the last stages of pregnancy feel like 🙈

I’ve found it so different. I’m bigger for starters, I carried my daughter more in my back so had a smaller bump. But this little one is all front. He also does not stop moving 😅

How is everyone doing? I am approaching 20w scan next week and had a private gender scan at 15weeks and found out I’m having my third boy! ☺️

I am still feeling quite anxious sadly, I think it is mostly the long period of home schooling and working from home, hoping I might start to feel better as things ease in the next few months (assuming they do!!)

We also just found out we're having a boy. So it'll be boy girl boy for us. DD was a bit upset at first but she was easily convinced she could be best friends with a little brother (just like she is with her big brother).

Sorry to hear you're feeling low at the minute @Jchina . Hopefully things will begin to look brighter soon. We're all sick of this crap too... I desperately want to see my parents. I haven't seen my sister and her kids in over a year as they live overseas.
