Is anyone else due on the 7th of May!!??

Hi ladies,
I'm due on the 7th of May with my first! I want to hear other soon to be moms as well and talk about everything baby and us till we're due. How about that

@asabee it was awesome got to hear the heartbeat and it really put my mind at rest (for a while at least)

It's my first baby so all new to me. I'm not bothered about what I'm having as such I just always picture a girl so it will be weird if they say it's a boy. Either way I'm just excited to be able to say "he or she" and think of names etc. Also I'm so eager to buy all the cute baby grows!

Tell me about your pregnancy? First one? How are you both feeling?

@SH2021 it will be my first baby too. I'm hoping finding out will help us with names we're pretty good with girls but we can't agree on a boys at all

I'm mainly feeling tired, occasionally still sick and I have gone off eggs and chicken but I haven't had any cravings

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope ahh yeah we are the same. So many girl names but struggle with boys! I like want a more unique name but equally not too out there as I'm trying to think about the fact they become an adult one day haha

It's all very exciting/scary. I want to buy everything but managed to refrain and hoping to get some bargains in the new year instead.

Have you bought much?

@SH2021 i know my OH doesn't like any of my suggestions for a boy his current favourite is Axel but I'm not a fan - but I have to wait for him to get it out of his system before I can even get him to think of anything else. I definitely feel like I'm doing more compromising

I have bought a little vest but only because I wrapped it up as a gift for my OH from bump for Christmas I'm trying to hold off until after my 20 week scan to buy anything else it's on 11 Jan

@ThirdTimeLuckyIHope aww yeah I got one little baby grow which I have put in a empty drawer. My 20 week scan is on Monday.

My OH let's me make the name lists and he just says yes or no haha. I think he is waiting till we know what we are having whereas I'm just excited to talk all things baby!

It can be hard finding names you both like but it's important that neither of you compromise. Feels like such a big decision doesn't it! I really like the name River for a boy but we have such a plain last name and it doesn't really sound right haha. I think a lot of people find it hard to choose boys names.

What's your due date then?

@SH2021 my due date it 31 May. When is yours? I really like the name River but my OH doesn't the only names he hasn't said a definite no too are Toby and Stanley and while I don't not like them I'm still unsure.

I put my 12 week scan pic up on here and a fb group called gender prediction nub theory and had mainly boy guesses it was 15-2 for a boy but who knows lol

Haha I never know how people can guess. I'm hoping the scan will be able to tell us. I'm so inpatient, this week is dragging waiting for Monday to arrive

My SIL had a baby a couple of weeks ago and didn't find out I don't know how she managed to resist

Had my 20 week scan this morning, all looking fine and the right size etc! I was so nervous. We are having a girl! 💗 Hope all of your scans go well too!

I’ve got my 20 week scan on Tuesday but we won’t open the sex result until Christmas morning so have to wait a little longer 🙈

A little worried they’re going to think my bump is too small or something - not sure they even measure it at that point but you still can’t tell I’m even preggers 😂😂

@HotDiggidy2017 They just measured the baby and not my bump at my 20 week scan. I have deff got a bump now, i can't comfortably wear my normal jeans now but too small for maternity bottoms atm!

I'm due the week before on 3rd of May with my second x

Had my 20 week scan today. All was well which was a relief but the baby had its legs closed so we couldn't find out the gender! So gutted but booking a private scan to find out and have another chance to properly look at the baby with my husband present for the whole scan!

Anyone else had your scan without being able to find out?

@SH2021 so glad to hear all was well, what a cheeky little one you have there keeping their legs crossed 😂

Had my 20 week scan today and no issues but took so long to get the baby in the right position to get a look at the heart. Then they also had their legs crossed for a bit, ended up having the scan standing up for the last part which seemed to sort it out 😂

My sister now has hold of the sex result ready for telling us on Christmas morn eeeek 😁😁
