@blondePotter I feel exactly the same. I'm 17+4. I had a huge bleed at 12wks, and all was ok, I obviously called the MW at the time and they said just keep an eye. But at my 16wk phone appointment today I told my MW and she said she is referring to fetal medicine as the haematoma can cause issues 😭 so I feel a bit meh that they didn't do that sooner although I realise nothing coukd be done really.

But yeah, no bump (just fat) I thought I felt baby move early on but haven't for a while, no sickness.

I'm sure it's fine for both of us but it's kind of an unsettling limbo time!

lucieloos · 06/01/2021 15:42

@BlondePotter I'm 16+2 and still feeling nauseous and sick on and off and now adding migraines to the list and also have a large expanding bump. So I definitely don't feel normal but I'm hoping given a couple more weeks things will start easing off a bit (apart from the bump)

Tatty1987 · 06/01/2021 16:00

@BlondePotter I’m the same but I’m only 15+3 and due at the end of June. No symptoms whatsoever at the moment!

Nesski · 06/01/2021 16:36

@BlondePotter same, hoping he's doing ok in there! Other than feeling a bit heavy around my stomach, I've taken omeprazole for the heartburn/indigestion and felt myself again after 16 weeks of misery!!

Fishingforhappiness · 06/01/2021 19:23

Thank you for all the pram advice. I feel utterly fed up and i need to rant!. I have covid... which would be fine, i've got off much lighter than many, but im still being sick despite cyclizine and now i've developed shingles, which i've had before. But due to being under 20 weeks my consultant has said i cant have the antivirals which really help, and i need to ride it out. Now my solicitor has left 3 weeks before our house exchange... gosh what a day! Finally giving in for a bit and going to take a week off work. But i feel bad. Im wfh but work in the nhs and everyone is so busy and short staffed already ... and my clinics will need to shift to someone else. Rahhhhh.... its all a bit much today

SantoPalo · 06/01/2021 20:40

Hi everyone, im new to mumsnet. 16 weeks pregnant today, third round of ivf successful, will be first baby. Baby due on 23rd June. Im so excited but also nervous, my symptoms have reduced so cant wait to start feeling baby move.

LemonRizzle · 06/01/2021 20:44

@Fishingforhapiness what a rough time you're having. No one is super human! Your colleagues will cope, don't feel guilty. Have a week to rest up and take it easy! Hope your symptoms aren't too bad x

I'm 20w1d, I have literally no symptoms other than this horrific pain in my side every now and then when I move. Made me feel sick it hurt so bad when I turned over in bed last night. It's 'only' round ligament pain but my god it hurts!

My bump kind of just appeared one morning last week out of nowhere! I think I felt bubble like movement a week ago but nothing since. Baby was absolutely fine on the scan yesterday so those with no symptoms or movement like me don't stress

LemonRizzle · 06/01/2021 20:46

Congratulations and welcome @SantoPalo

Mackie2020 · 06/01/2021 20:57

Welcome and congratulations @SantoPalo

Me and @Fightingtobepositive are IVF pregnancies too

SantoPalo · 06/01/2021 21:04

@LemonRizzle thanks
@Mackie2020 thanks, how far along are you both?

Mackie2020 · 06/01/2021 21:08

@SantoPalo I'm 19+1. Started feeling movement in the last week which is just amazing. I'm still anxious about my 20 week scan next week though. The IVF trauma doesn't vanish unfortunately!

SantoPalo · 06/01/2021 22:06

@Mackie2020 i wish you all the best with your scan, im sure baby will be absolutely fine. I totally understand what you mean about the ivf trauma.

Snally82 · 06/01/2021 22:12

Welcome @SantoPalo x

Emmie12 · 06/01/2021 22:20

Hi everyone!

New here too - @SantoPalo I’m also 16 weeks today and due on the 23rd June.

As a first time mum feeling pretty clueless - but reading through your posts have already made me feel better! X

Nesski · 06/01/2021 22:22

@SantoPalo @Emmie12 we have the same due dates and first time mum aswell!

SantoPalo · 07/01/2021 07:50

@Nesski @Emmie12 good morning, i am so happy to actually be aware of mothers to be who have the same due date as me. Obviously with covid im at home and not able to meet other pregnant ladies face to face like the pre covid days. So it can be lonely.

Nesski · 07/01/2021 09:13

@SantoPalo yes it can be lonely, do you have a support group i.e. friends and/or family to speak with? Where are you based in the UK? You can still do walks outside with a friend!

Fightingtobepositive · 07/01/2021 09:15

@Mackie2020 Hello, thank you for tagging me. My mums bet refreshed and lost the page, so glad to be back ☺️ I still can’t believe how similar our experiences are. How are you doing? I’m getting a little nervous about my 20 week scan at the moment. Due on the 18th.

@SantoPalo hello I was 18 weeks Sunday just gone. I also felt anxious coming upto 16 weeks because I thought I felt to ‘normal’ so had a private scan. So far so good 🤞🙏. It’s such a nerve racking time isn’t it. I’m due the 6 June so not to far in fron of you.

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and is safe and well 💜

SantoPalo · 07/01/2021 10:22

@Nesski i am fortunate to have supportive family and friends to talk too. I live in Surrey, i probably do need to go out for more walks though lol

SantoPalo · 07/01/2021 10:24

@Fightingtobepositive hello and thank you for your post. I will wait and see how it goes over the next couple of weeks, hopefully i will get some symptoms back and feel less anxious

Mackie2020 · 07/01/2021 15:07

Glad you found us again @Fightingtobepositive

I'm pretty ok day to day. The nausea has gone, but my appetite can still be up & down. I have a fair amount of aches & pains, & I'm still very tired. I just want everything to be ok at my 20 week scan next week. I am feeling some movements now, which is really reassuring

PinkPlantCase · 07/01/2021 15:50

I don’t have covid Grin Grin Phew.

Dragonfly92 · 07/01/2021 16:25

@Fishingforhappiness I hope things are a little better today. Sounds like you're going through so much. A week off will help and don't feel guilty. You need to think of you and your little one.

Welcome and congratulations @SantoPalo and @Emmie12

Great news @PinkPlantCase. I bet that's a relief.

Had my 16 week midwife appointment and got to here both their little hearts beating. Also had a growth scan and got to see them both and the genders have been written down for us. Patiently waiting for the other half to get home!

Nesski · 07/01/2021 16:26

@Dragonfly92 how exciting!!!!

maloney123 · 07/01/2021 16:43

@BlondePotter I am 19+1 and also don’t really feel pregnant at all, just fat really! I did have a scan at 16 weeks and the baby was wriggling about but can’t help the anxiety until the 20 week scan.

@Fishingforhappiness sorry to hear you’re having such a touch time. Shingles thrives on you being run down and stressed so try and rest as much as poss and boost your immune system x
