Hi @MrsH2019 - I've sent you a PM to join the Facebook group! Thank you :)

CC81 · 24/11/2020 14:58

And blimey, I feel ROUGH today. My symptom-free weekend (which worried me) was definitely a short phase.

No vomiting so far, just nausea - I think it's worse when I'm tired. I barely slept last night, after the twins shock yesterday. My mind was going around in circles.

Currently around 7 weeks, so am now rather dreading the next few weeks, if we make it that far...!

Mish20 · 24/11/2020 15:12

@luckyelephant1 I'm am due 14th July and im the same i get hungry every 2 hours and if I dont eat I get a empty stomach ache feeling. Not great when you are put off certain healthy food! I have been living on cereal, bread and crackers.

saltedcaramelxo · 24/11/2020 16:04

Hello! Joining you for July train. I am currently 6 weeks with my second baby, although this will be my 4th pregnancy. I feel SO incredibly sick already though, which is the same as I was with my daughter.Thank god I don't have to commute this time!!

Hopefulmummie · 24/11/2020 19:00

Does anyone know what the guidance is for getting your hair dyed when pregnant? Is it just bleach you can't use?

Char899 · 24/11/2020 19:27

@Hopefulmummie they say to stear clear for the first 12 weeks. The reason I think is because if you are dying your whole head the dye sinks into your skin a little. I think after the first trimester you’re good to go

Mumof2boys18 · 24/11/2020 19:41

Hi all

I've just found out that pregnant with my 3rd. Currently around 5 weeks, due end of July, constant queasiness. Xx

Apanna · 24/11/2020 19:45

Hi everyone! Hope you don't mind me joining in! I'm 7+4 days pregnant, have had 2 MC this year so had an early scan yesterday... Turns out I'm pregnant with identical twins, dating scan is on Christmas Eve but we're not going to tell anyone until then and so absolutely bursting with this massive news! Double worry about miscarriage now, so hope to join in here to keep myself sane over the next few weeks!

Apanna · 24/11/2020 19:50

@CC81 it appears you got the same news yesterday!!! How are you feeling? I've been looking at bigger cars all day! Can't get my head around there being two in there, but had a bit of a sense that it could be! Mine are due 9th July all things being well!

amyspames · 24/11/2020 20:32

I'd like to join in this group!
Due around 10 July I think, so either 7 weeks today or maybe 7 and 1. Have known for 3 weeks.

Won't be a straightforward, blooming pregnancy for me unfortunately, had MMC during lockdown part1 that took almost 2 months to resolve. Trying to put it to the back of my mind for now, but have a private scan booked in for 9 weeks, as we were supposed to go away next weekend, but it's been cancelled now for the third time 🤦‍♀️

Is anyone else stressing out over the Xmas arrangements announced this eve? I wasn't planning on telling a lot of people until after the 20 week scan, as told my daughter after 12 week scan, and she was so upset, and told my mum before the 12 week scan, and she blabbed 🤦‍♀️. Given we can only meet up with 2 households and can't meet up in restaurants/ pubs etc, I really don't know what excuse is going to work, especially since we can't go anywhere so I can't use the designated driver card!!

saltedcaramelxo · 24/11/2020 22:03

@amyspames sorry to hear about your MMC earlier in the year. I had one last year and then a blighted ovum the week lockdown started.

Was planning on telling my daughter first on her birthday (Jan) so not sure how I’ll get round the no drinking at Christmas situation 😂

dreaming174 · 24/11/2020 22:48

Hi all, I'm due 30th July :) Exciting!
What's the name of the facebook group please?

CC81 · 25/11/2020 10:08

@Apanna - Good to hear from someone in a similar position!

I'm ok so far - just really worried about complications, defects, etc, as I know twins are more at risk.

I'm 39 and have a low ovarian reserve, so got fingers crossed for egg quality.

I'm probably going to have a private scan with a consultant at 9 weeks, then NIPT screening at 10 weeks. That only leaves a week before Christmas, so the timings are a nightmare!

Are you in the Facebook group? If not, then to join, send a PM to @MrsH2019 :)

Kg87 · 25/11/2020 14:10

@Mish20 heyy! yeah I get that too! I get hungry every couple of hours and it’s if I haven’t eaten for days each time! I’m always hungry for chips with loads of salt and nothing else appeals to me at all. I would love to eat only chips for the next 8 months but I don’t think I should 😂🙈

Kg87 · 25/11/2020 14:10

*it’s as if

Mish20 · 25/11/2020 15:09

@kg87 yes I wish i could eat bread and crackers too but I know they say eat a healthy diet but it's very hard when nothing else appeals! I'm waiting for my first midwife appointment but not heard anything yet....have you?

Kg87 · 25/11/2020 15:19

@Mish20 I know it’s so hard to eat healthy when nothing appeals, I was forcing blueberries down earlier and it made me feel worse. No I haven’t had a midwife app yet, I saw the dr at the fertility dept last week for my early scan and she said to self refer for my appointment so I did that on Friday and was told I’d hear back within 5 days but nothing yet. How far along are you?

asSASSin8 · 25/11/2020 17:13

Congratulations everyone! I tested last week and am 5+5. I was wondering if I could please have the link for the FB group.

MrsH2019 · 25/11/2020 17:34

@asSASSin8 hi if you or anyone wants to join the Facebook group just send me a PM. Xx

WalkingMeAway · 25/11/2020 19:11

6w 2d today and had the dreaded brown spotting. I had it with both my other children around now so was expecting it but still has concerned me.

Scan is on Sunday so will wait and see.

Also having the queasy feelings and not wanting anything apart from beige food. For lunch I had chips in French Bread ! Was delicious.

Char899 · 25/11/2020 19:29

@WalkingMeAway that sounds like my kind of lunch!

Luckyelephant1 · 25/11/2020 20:02

Ugh I'm probably being paranoid but I accidently ate a somewhat raw mushroom today...i.e. I already seem to have baby brain and threw in the sauce too early before the mushrooms had properly sautéed or fried off and I could definitely taste they were undercooked. Should I be worried?

dreaming174 · 25/11/2020 20:46

Hi all, just checking in! This is my 2nd and I had horrific morning sickness with my 1st. Never actually vomiting, just on the verge all day long. I wasn't sure I could do it again it was so bad. I lost so much weight weeks 7 to 12.
My Dr suggested vitamin B complex to me and it cleared up the nausea within a few days. I still felt like a hangover but it was an improvement. I've already started it this time round. Fingers crossed!
