So sorry @BKB27 😢💐 sending lots of love xx

MundyJuly · 26/11/2020 18:20

Hi ladies, I am currently 6 weeks, due the last week of July.
But last night (sorry TMI coming up) there was slight pink when I wiped. I rang maternity hospital and they said nothing they can do yet anyway, too early to get scanned, put on a pad and to come in for pain management if bleeding gets worse/pain increases.
No bleeding overnight and today there has only been slightest bit of brown bleeding but I am feeling crappy.
I am pragmatic by nature and if this was going to happen I am glad at least it is happening so early. It’s the waiting for something to start that’s hard. Has anyone had this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Jilly1988 · 26/11/2020 18:26

I'm 7+3 today but having a bit of a panic. I haven't had many symptoms but the past 2 days I felt a bit nauseous and have been feeling tired. But today I have no nauseous feeling and I feel nowhere near as tired. Starting to worry something is wrong 😩

BKB27 · 26/11/2020 18:34

Thank you @Jilly1988 and @Runnergirl1 appreciate the support. Hope all goes well for you and that I can join another group soon. Wishing you all luck and happy healthy babies x x

Hi @Jilly1988 we seem to be having very similar pregnancies so far. I'm 7+5 and I'm exactly the same, even my tiredness has gone, no nausea and only slight food aversion. Today I started getting a couple of cramps as if my period was about to start, I haven't had those since week 4. Feeling quite anxious and like I'm heading towards a downfall. I think what makes it worse is that I still haven't had a booking appointment or 12 week scan confirmed either. I can't just ask my midwife questions because I don't yet have a midwife!
Luckyelephant1 · 26/11/2020 19:36

@BKB27 I'm so sorry to hear this news xx

AliceinBunniland · 26/11/2020 21:34

@BKB27 I hope you're okay Flowers

@Jilly1988 @Luckyelephant1 I have had similar. I am 8+1 and I have had days when I feel fine and then the nausea and tiredness has come back. I have also had cramping on and off for a day or so at a time and then nothing. I think it's natural to worry but I think it's normal so I am just hoping everything is okay🤞 I remember feeling like this in my first pregnancy too and other people in my Mumsnet group worrying about lack of symptoms so it seems common x

CC81 · 26/11/2020 22:49

I felt 'normal' last weekend, then have felt really nauseous and weary all week. I think it's worse when I'm tired.

My 7-week scan was on Monday and all ok then... keeping fingers crossed for the next one.

PurpleIsTheColour · 27/11/2020 06:10

How is everyone dealing with feeling extremely bloated all the time? I feel like I can’t breath when wearing jeans and if I put on a dress the tights are killing me even more ... might have to switch to maternity jeans soon as it’s just so uncomfy 😂😂😂

strawberrycherryblossom · 27/11/2020 07:58

@PurpleIsTheColour I haven't really noticed it yet which is odd. I assumed I'd show quickly as it's my second but I'm just slightly bloated by the evening - but probably no more so than I would be after a day of food normally.

If you are looking at maternity clothes H&M were the best for jeans and tops. If anyone has any legging recommendations let me know because I couldn't find any I liked last time Sad

AliceinBunniland · 27/11/2020 13:11

@PurpleIsTheColour I am wearing comfy trousers. I have maternity jeans from my first pregnant but haven't got them out yet. Mine are H&M and I agree with @strawberrycherryblossom that theirs are nice. I found I felt like this in the early stages of my first pregnancy and it was summer then so I was able to wear comfy, loose trousers for work. I think it helps that I'm working from home.

I also find I can't eat too much in one sitting so I stop when I'm feeling full xx

Jilly1988 · 27/11/2020 14:09

@Luckyelephant1 We do seem to be the same. I just can't help but worry. I just don't feel pregnant in the slightest. Also the fact I had a couple of days of slight nausea and then it just disappeared. I'm also not as tired as I was last week. I have a scan on Tuesday when I will be 8+1 and I'm just terrified that I'm going to get bad news. I just feel so anxious

PurpleIsTheColour · 27/11/2020 16:28

@AliceinBunniland, @strawberrycherryblossom
I might have a look at buying some from H&M the. next week after my first scan. I am still mainly working from the office so have to dress casual-smart and really struggle wearing my usual clothes. I did have it with my first pregnancy that ended in a MMC so I think that this is one of my main symptoms every time and I’ll just have to put up with it same way you ladies deal with the nausea xxx

elldog6 · 27/11/2020 18:43

Hi all. Hope you don't mind me joining. I'd love to join the fb group too but not sure how to send someone a dm on the app! Confused

I'm 6+2 according to LMP and am absolutely terrified that something will go wrong and it's causing me huge anxiety. I've booked in a private scan for next Thursday to check if it's ectopic!

luxxlisbon · 27/11/2020 21:08

I’ve just had my follow up private scan and we seen the baby!! So excited and so relieved. We went 3 weeks ago when I was about 8.5 LMP, I has no idea what my dates were supposed to be but I knew wouldn’t be 8.5 as I have long irregular cycles.
All that was seen at that last time was an empty sac, after 3 long stressful weeks waiting now we have a yolk sac, a tiny baby and we even seen the heart beat.
I’m now dated at 7w2 and I’m starting to keep like this is real!

Sweetpea12 · 28/11/2020 12:44

Got my early scan today measuring at 7 weeks 4 days which is more than I thought cos I have shorter cycles. The relief of seeing the heart flickering just hoping it keeps progressing well Smile

@luxxlisbon I hope you don’t mind me messaging. Great news that your scan has shown your little one is doing well x I just wanted to ask if they told you what size your sac was 3 weeks ago and what it is now. Also, did they take your bloods? I’ve had two scans with an empty sac but it grew quite a lot between the two so they think it may be a blighted ovum. I’ve got another scan this coming thursday which is 10 days since the last scan and 2 weeks 2 days since the first scan. I’m keen to hear other people’s stories. Sorry for all the questions. X

Bobs82 · 28/11/2020 12:50

@luxxlisbon meant to say I’m 8 weeks from LMP tomorrow so I’ll be 8 weeks and 4 days on Thursday.

luxxlisbon · 28/11/2020 13:20

@Bobs82 hi, my sac was only 2mm at my first scan and they didn’t even properly date it. The guy said maybe 4 or 5 weeks. I waited 3 full weeks and they put me at 7w2 last night. I don’t think we got a measurement of the sac at the second appointment, only the embryo.
Right I would be 11w2 going by LMP but obviously it was just a really late ovulation. I don’t have bloods taken or anything as the scan was at a private clinic not an EPU.

Keeping everything crossed for you! The 3 week wait I had was hell.

strawberrycherryblossom · 28/11/2020 13:21

Another one who's just had an early scan. Baby measuring 8+1 with a lovely heartbeat. Feeling temporarily a bit better but the worry will come back before my 12w scan I'm sure Grin

hippohippohippo · 28/11/2020 14:07

Also had an early private scan yesterday, really pleased I did as it at least temporarily calms the anxiety! Although, now worrying as I have had my 12 week scan date through today, for 21st December. On the one hand, pleased it's before Christmas (we are going to try not to tell anyone at all until 20 weeks, but agreed we would admit to anyone who suspects once we have had the 12 week scan...and pretty sure my mum will suspect on christmas day), but by the dates I was given yesterday I'd only be 11 weeks 1 day and worried that's too early especially for any tests, so not sure if I should be calling up and saying something (I came straight off the pill so don't have any idea about lmp etc, so my dates have been a guess til now) or just leaving it be!

Runnergirl1 · 28/11/2020 15:05

I’m loosing my head abit. I am 8+3 according to lmp and really anxious. I’m trying to hold out until 12 weeks scan but finding it hard. I had a mmc at my last early scan so don’t want the same thing hence why I haven’t booked another private scan as I don’t want the same fate. Awful feeling like this though x

jewelsx · 28/11/2020 16:18

I have my first scan for the 21st December. No idea what I will be! Think about 10 weeks? Can't wait

AliceinBunniland · 28/11/2020 17:17

Are people getting their 12 weeks scan appointments through before their booking in appointment?

I think where I live they book in the scan once you have your booking in but not before.

Runnergirl1 · 28/11/2020 17:25

@AliceinBunniland I e got to have my booking in appointment first which is 9+1 then I’ll get my scan date x
