@LRHRN hope all is going well x

peachypetite · 15/11/2020 19:24

@EithneBlue yeh I think I would too. Nearer the time I just won’t answer my phone or whatsapps unless family who I have already asked to not keep hounding me!!! Also - honestly can’t imagine doing all this pregnancy again, even though you must forget all the bad parts otherwise nobody would have a second child but how the hell do women do this like 4/5 times?! It has felt like the longest 9 months of my life!!

LRHRN · 15/11/2020 19:40

@Babyhope98 I'm back home now.
Baby is fine and eventually calmed down.
They Tried to do a sweep but her head is so low that my cervix was tucked behind 😂
I'm being induced on Saturday 😬❤️

Amyyy1 · 15/11/2020 19:44

@peachypetite I feel like I have been pregnant for way longer than 9 months, I don't think it helps these last few weeks really dragging and every slight pain wondering if this is the moment😅

Snowwhite2020 · 15/11/2020 19:49

@LRHRN glad to hear you’re home and all
is well. Exciting for Saturday!

@peachypetite again I totally hear ya haha!! Pregnancy is hard work. Hopefully we will all be rewarded soon tho... xx

Babyhope98 · 15/11/2020 20:05

Amazing news the countdown is on exciting! 💕 @LRHRN

MsBee13 · 15/11/2020 20:13
@Amyyy1 mine is Tuesday and also hoping for similar. I’m so tired! I can’t believe how bad my under eye bags are already, god knows what it will be like when the baby is here. Just ordered a takeaway and looking forward to a bath later!
Mine is on Tuesday too. Can't wait to hear what is going on. Every bone in my body hurts 😞 I would have a bath too but it is so uncomfortable for me to lay in the bath because of the pressure of the stomach on me. Do you just sit in there or laying on your side? Sorry for a silly question just don't know what position to do to be comfy 🙈 x

Kj1010 · 15/11/2020 20:18

I have to lay in bath moment I sit up it is uncomfortable would love to shower but its broke lol next on list to do I deep cleaned my bedroom today and unpacked all the baby bits nappies etc washed and ironed all the clothes and put them into order was gonna pack bag but gonna see what midwife suggests I have sort of done a bag for toiletries for myself and baby wash etc and got me pjs flipflops knickers sanitary pads baby milk but that's it but suppose it's only the clothes coat blankets etc

peachypetite · 15/11/2020 20:31

@MsBee13 I feel the relief of the hot water so much, I lie on my back and just relax, find it really soothing for aches and pains.

peachypetite · 15/11/2020 20:31

Have you all decided on names?? I’m finding it so difficult.

MsBee13 · 15/11/2020 20:32

Ladies, I was just thinking. Shall we create a private group on FB where we can continue our journey together? Sharing our experiences with our labours and babies? Just an idea x

Me laying on my back feels like I can't breathe. I would have to just sit there or be on my side. I have to try x

Snowwhite2020 · 15/11/2020 20:45

@MsBee13 I don’t have Facebook unfortunately... we could create another mumsnet thread and just carry on but of course totally fine if folks prefer Facebook. X

Amyyy1 · 15/11/2020 20:49

@MsBee13 I don't have FB either! :(

MsBee13 · 15/11/2020 20:50

No worries ladies. Just an idea xx

Amyyy1 · 15/11/2020 20:51

@MsBee13 When I have a bath I lean forwards a bit and sit almost like a frog lol 🤣 so much belly can go in between my legs and that relieves some of the pressure I feel. We have a curvy bath so not sure if there'd be enough room in a straight one x

kkr168 · 15/11/2020 20:56

@peachypetite We still haven't decided on a name that we both like, to be honest I've not even mentioned baby names for a couple of months to my DH. We had planned to call our other son Cameron but when he was born he didn't look like a Cameron, we settled on a name a few hours later, most of his birth cards have the wrong name on them!!

kkr168 · 15/11/2020 21:04

I'm seeing my midwife tomorrow morning for my 38 week check, I'm going to ask how long they will let me go over before being induced, hopefully baby arrives before it's needed. He has definitely dropped, my bump is significantly lower, the feeling of pressure in my pelvis is intense, so I'll be very surprised if he's not engaged tomorrow. My carpel tunnel has gotten awful this past week though, I am waking up every hour in agony, it takes forever to ease the pain up enough to go back to sleep, I really don't want potentially another 4 weeks of this feeling.

lc86 · 15/11/2020 21:48

We have the names Alfie and Harri and can't decide!! Hoping he comes out with a name tag lol x

lc86 · 15/11/2020 21:49

Just managed to syringe 1ml of colostrum.. so proud of myself and my boobs lol 🙊

MsBee13 · 15/11/2020 21:50

We have a name for a very long time. But it's ok not to have a name. Don't feel pressure. I'm sure you will come to a name once baby is born x

My carpel tunnel is awful too. Losing a feeling in my fingers on my left hand. Can't even hold things in my left hand that are heavy. I hope it gets better after the baby is born.
Snowwhite2020 · 15/11/2020 21:55

@Ic86 high five for that 1ml of colostrum! X

lc86 · 15/11/2020 22:01

@Snowwhite2020 thank you.. our bodies are amazing!!

Pinktruffle · 16/11/2020 00:28

Well done on the colostrum @lc86! I still haven't managed any.

@MsBee13 I'd be up for a Facebook group pr a new thread on one of the other forums here where we can all continue our journeys together. I think that would be really nice, in the absence of a real life antenatal group, you ladies have been a real support. We will all have the unique experience of lockdown pregnancies that not many will share.

Still no name for us yet, got a few ideas but as we don't know if it's a boy or a girl, I think we will decide after seeing the baby.
