Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

@Hopingfor3 ohhhh haha
@PeanutButterFalcon how much b6 do you take? I was on 100 during ttc
Yes I know what you mean I’ll definitely worry if the nausea goes!
@Forest27 4 weeks today too and cramps everyday for 7 days exactly like AF is coming
Congratulations @jewelsx

jewelsx · 16/11/2020 19:31

I've been getting cramps too! Nothing like a sign of period but I keep checking every time to make sure that I am not spotting or bleeding!
Makes me quite paranoid when it happens as I think "oh is this is a sign of it about to go wrong!"
So far so good

Congratulations to everyone on here👏❤️

MrsG2907 · 16/11/2020 19:36

@Forest27 hey, welcome :) I am 4 weeks on Wednesday and I have had cramping for the last few days and have been feeling anxious about it too xx

@jewelsx congratulations :) xx

WomanFormerlyKnownAsKarateGirl · 16/11/2020 19:44

7 weeks today and this nausea and exhaustion is just plain silly. I threw up spectacularly this morning whilst trying to read my two year old a book. Fortunately there are strategically placed mixing bowls around the house... And then threw up again as I was getting ready for work. I made the decision to tell my boss today and told him I feel like utter crap as a (pointless?) warning not to overload me with work at the moment. I'm quite glad I'm still working from home... Last time I spent pretty much every journey to work until I started mat leave at 37 weeks puking on the train.

Forest27 · 16/11/2020 19:45

I know! I keep running to bathroom checking to make sure AF has arrived. I have more CM than normal at the moment so I keep thinking she’s here 🙈

Its awful isn’t it! I can’t stop thinking about it 😂 I wish I could forget until I was 7 weeks and having my scan as the waiting is driving me crazy!!

Is this everyone’s first? It’s my first so I don’t have anything to compare it to (apart from my molar pregnancy)!

Forest27 · 16/11/2020 19:47

@WomanFormerlyKnownAsKarateGirl oh god! That sounds awful!! I hope it easies for you soon! I’m dreading the nausea, I get motion sickness really easily so I reckon I’ll have it bad 😩

user246ohone · 16/11/2020 20:06

Hello! Can I join? Not sure when my due date is but I think towards end of July. Found out Friday but I've been in denial until today when I got a sudden rush of excitement!

Sweetpea12 · 16/11/2020 20:38

I’m 5 weeks today and wasn’t expecting the tiredness to hit out of nowhere, having nausea on and off and now counting down to an early scan on the 28th. Finding out early makes the weeks seem so long but glad there is so many people on here due around the same time. Really enjoying reading everyone’s comments each day

strawberrycherryblossom · 16/11/2020 20:54

@Sweetpea12 our early scan is also the 28th! I'm not feeling the tiredness this time like last time but the nausea is something else Envy(not envy)

WomanFormerlyKnownAsKarateGirl · 16/11/2020 21:05

@Forest27 It's pretty grim. It's now a hat trick day, as I chucked up again when I went up to lift my daughter half an hour ago 😣

Lostwordsblessing · 16/11/2020 21:06

@mariebaby3

Morning all Smile

Is anyone else hyper aware of their symptoms right now? I'm still early but every morning I pretty much grope myself to make sure my boobs are still hurting. I question why I had a good nights sleep etc etc lol... feel like I'm going to drive myself mad! I know i should probably make the most of it before sickness etc kicks in though :)

I’m generally not too anxious but I am totally doing this every morning when I’m suddenly not aware of my boobs and grabbing them in fright and immediately regretting it. OW. Swear I’ve gone up a cup size!

My boobs and the on and off cramps are the only constant. Oddly enough I don’t get it when I exercise but I do if I get up quickly or move fast around the flat. Weird!

Lostwordsblessing · 16/11/2020 21:17
@NamechangeTTC that looks super positive to me I don’t think it matters how light/dark positive is a positive. Mine are still not as dark as when I tested with my 2nd baby. I keep reading about early positives and twins keeps popping up!

I wonder who/if any of us on here will have twins!
Twins run in my family and have skipped a generation for about 150 years! Everyone says I’m the one whose going to have them and I’ve always thought I would, but it doesn’t feel like it. Think this is a solo baba. At least, I’m not financially or emotionally or spiritually or geographically prepared for twins Halloween Smile

Lostwordsblessing · 16/11/2020 21:27

@EatPrayYoga I feel you; I’m a musician (so no work yay!) and a writer (2020 has not been kind) and sitting down to write takes an enormous amount of energy. I get a tired lull mid afternoon so I try and get something, even if it’s small, done around lunchtime so I don’t feel totally shit and unproductive. Be kind to yourself! There’s a life growing inside you.

@Hopefulmummie I’ve had general cramps but also the odd sharp pain which I’ve read is normal; the uterus is growing and stretching all the time so I think it’s okay. Unless it’s quite often and it really hurts and spotting then I believe that’s normal?. Anyone else?

Lostwordsblessing · 16/11/2020 21:36

Just catching up after a few days off the computer. Finding it hard to concentrate on anything and getting carried away looking at baby stuff which I shouldn’t do before the scan but I just feel excited. Obviously now the algorithms have me sussed and are advertising all the expensive yummy mummy carriers which I definitely CAN’T afford. Will be doing charity & freecycle hunts methinks.

Anyone else taking Pregnacare? It’s the all in one vitamin. Not sure if it’s that or the colder weather but my hormonal acne has calmed down dramatically since I found out I was pregnant. Guess my hormones are going into overdrive right now!

What’s have people got planned for Christmas announcements (all being well of course fingers crossed)?

Sending lots of ginger and support to all you fantastic women! 🥳😇

jewelsx · 16/11/2020 21:53

Just thought I'd share this remedy I used when I had my first child. It got rid of my sickness.
Might not work for everyone but don't knock it till you try it!
It's pretty much just a smoothie! I've been drinking it and have had no sickness

2 Rasberry yoghurts (by creamfields)
4 strawberry's
1 banana
Half cup water
10-15 blueberrys
5 raspberry's
Blend and drink
So simple and did the trick for me after i discovered it elsewhere x x

Sweetpea12 · 16/11/2020 21:54

@strawberrycherryblossom my nausea started at the weekend and I thought it seemed early I was waking during the night with it for hours at a time. I’m hoping it’s all a good sign and for great news on the 28th. How far along will you be on the 28th?

strawberrycherryblossom · 16/11/2020 21:59

@Sweetpea12 fingers crossed for you. Nausea is awful though Sad

To be honest I'm not completely sure. Somewhere around the 8 week mark I think. You?

Sweetpea12 · 16/11/2020 22:04

@strawberrycherryblossom thank you I’ll be just short of 7 weeks. I’m only having the scan because of a MMC last year so have everything crossed that all is ok

Boc86 · 17/11/2020 05:46

Gosh @WomanFormerlyKnownAsKarateGirl that sounds awful :(

luxxlisbon · 17/11/2020 06:31

I’m counting down to an early scan on the 28th too! We are about the same way along. I keep flipping between really excited for the scan and then really anxious.

NamechangeTTC · 17/11/2020 06:34

Morning folks.

I’m trying to work out if there’s any line progression and worrying myself.

MamaMoonbeam · 17/11/2020 06:56

Morning @NamechangeTTC, there's definitely difference in the sticks, for sure. I can't tell on the FRERs xx

NamechangeTTC · 17/11/2020 07:31

The lack of change on the frer worries me :(

The pink sticks measure at 10

These measure at 25 and I can see something today (couldn’t on Sunday)

Pepper0610 · 17/11/2020 08:15

@NamechangeTTC I would deffo say there is line progression on both sets of tests there!! You can’t deny they are undoubtedly positive!!

Any body else under the 5 week mark still not experiencing any symptoms as such? I’m sure I was really sick with my first two at this point but I feel no different!

NamechangeTTC · 17/11/2020 08:27

@Pepper0610 me! A wee bit nauseous, sore boobs if I prod them and cramps. Feels like A F though. I’m due on Thur but 5/40 on friday from lmp.
