Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

I’m wfh home too 3 days a week and have my little one the other 2 days.

I checked on two calculators with the date of ovulation and they both said 4th July!

Does anyone have any symptoms? I’m definitely feeling sick in the evening and morning mildly and do have some cramping.

@stellarfox same due date as me 🥰 I’ve been getting cramping pretty much every day but not loads and not too painful, I’m due AF on Sunday so it’s making me a bit worried but I’m sure it’s just our wombs making room for our little ones ☺️

@stellarfox and @Nam095 due date buddies!! I sometimes have mild cramping but generally my abdomen just feels really heavy, like there’s always this pressure on it. Hopefully that’s normal?! Nam I’m exactly the same, part of me feels like this pregnancy is just someone playing a joke on me and that my AF will show up on Sunday too!

When is everyone going to call their GP? I was reading another thread and it seems like the process is really different depending on where you live, sometimes you go through your GP but sometimes you either get referred or need to self-refer to a hospital / midwife clinic. I’m going to ring my doctor’s surgery on Monday and find out next steps. I’m desperate to have my 12 week scan before Christmas, but I might even book an early scan around 10 weeks and get NIPT done too (been googling today and it’s like £400 but is apparently much more accurate than the prenatal testing you get on the NHS). I feel like all I can think about at the moment is pregnancy stuff and really can’t concentrate on work, is anyone else the same?

Yeah I’m still worried incase AF arrives! I think I’ll be less worried when it’s 5 weeks.

In my area you just ring the midwife direct and they sort it out. I’m not ringing at least for another week or 2 to rule out a chemical. Last time I rang up straight away and then had to ring back to cancel a few days later 🙈

I find I think about it a lot too, but I am distracted by my first! We’re going to a soft play/trampoline place tomorrow which I’m looking forward to! Have you got much to take your mind off it this weekend?

I can self refer myself so I might do it on Monday when AF is officially late. I’m thinking of doing a private early scan as well around 8 weeks.

I totally cannot concentrate! Since Tuesday I haven’t been able to get it off my mind 🙈 and today I have horrible morning sickness I’m only 3+5 😖

Hey!! I had a positive test on 12th October :) going from my last period I am 5weeks 5 days pregnant, due 20th June 2020 ;)

Super excited but trying not to get my hopes up too much as it's early days! This will be my first also! My only symptoms are extremely sore boobs and very very highly strung and emotional lol! No sickness as of yet... curious as to when it will start lol. Got a private 6 week scan booked this Tuesday and another at 9 weeks just to make sure everything's ok... 12 week wait seems so long !!

We just got our BFP today - still in a state of disbelief but unbelievable happy also!! We have been TTC for 1 cycle, and this is our first.
It feels like we can't possibly get that lucky and that something will go wrong!!

I had a bit of nausea a few days around the time af was due but now it's just cramps backache and more cramps. I am always knicker checking 🙈.I seem to have more cm and it makes me think the witch has sneaked up on me.

Any symptoms your end??

I've started commenting on the June 2021 thread but I think I'm actually due 1/7 so hey ladies!

This is my third (4th pregnancy though), and I found out on Tuesday. No idea how many DPO really didn't properly track it!

Amazing news about pregnancy aftwr 5 years that's incredible and it'll be an honour to share your journey xxxx

@Nam095 I'm defo going to have a private scan at 8 weeks (praying I make it that far). Waiting 4 weeks for that feels manageable and then another 4 to see them again slightly more relaxed ❤️

Had been experiencing cramping which seems to have subsided a little.

@hannah agree!! We have also decided to have a scan at 8/9 weeks as we likely won't have our dating scan until Jan.
When I called to schedule my booking appointment they said the earliest they would do dating scan is 17th Dec and factoring in Christmas its likely to be Jan. We both feel that it will become more real once we have a scan and see our little bundle and make sure they are okay ❤

I’m currently 4+4 with #2! My DD is 4 in December. I think going by dates I am due 28th June but I’m secretly hoping for a July baby so hopefully he or she stays out for a few extra days 👶🏼

Hey ladies, I was due my period from anytime between yesterday and tomorrow. Done a couple of cheap tests from b&m but the sensitivity is only 20. Picked up frer today so will do one of those tomorrow. But for now heres a test i done this morning.

I'm struggling to see line, however its harder to get a faint line to show up on camera.
If it gives you any hope I was getting faint lines on the cheapies, and got a clear positive today on a FRER

They said to me I'd have my booking in apt at 8-10 weeks max and I think they have to scan by end of 13th week to do all the test so I'm hoping December!!! Xx

Hi everyone, I wrote a whole message earlier and then the page crashed and lost it so had to eat pizza to calm down before writing a new message 😂 Welcome and congrats to all the new ladies!

@stellarfox I phoned my doctor’s surgery today in the end just to ask what I needed to do and it turns out where I live I need to self-refer to the hospital I want to give birth in and then they contact me within 10 days so I filled in the online form today. Have fun tomorrow, we’re seeing my in-laws this weekend as they’re likely going into tier 3 soon so don’t know when we’ll next see them.

@Nam095 sorry to hear about your sickness, I just keep having mild cramps and my tummy just feels really weird and heavy and my appetite is quite up and down. I got to 3pm today before I realised I’d forgotten to have lunch! Made up for it with pizza though.

@early20s congrats! The emotional meltdowns are real aren’t they! I had a full on one at my DH the other night because I thought he was taking the cat’s side over mine (which sounds ridiculous now I say it 😂) I think I’m going to wait and see what date they give me for my 1st scan and if it’s after Christmas I’ll book a private one for before Christmas.

@purplepoppet92 congrats! I’m the same, I keep thinking my body is just playing a trick on me!

@brokenheart013 that is amazing news! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy 😊 I know what you mean about knicker checking, I agree things definitely feel wetter down there than usual (sorry for tmi!) so I constantly get that feeling of dread when I go to the loo but it’s just more CM than usual.

@HannahJH congrats! Hmm that’s a good point, is that the earliest you can have a private scan - around 8 weeks?

@purplepoppet92 Don’t they have to do certain testing/screening before it’s too late though so surely they can’t leave until jan can they? Maybe early Jan would still be within the time but not much margin for error if dates are wrong! Really hope for a scan before Xmas as would be so nice to be able to share news at xmas all being well of course

I’ve been feeling really thirsty especially at night. Anyone else feeling that?! I am still breastfeeding but only twice a day in the eve and first thing in the morning

@stellarfox I am so thirsty ! Craving Diet Coke all the time so having to get the caffeine free one 😂😂

Hi ladies, I’d love to join too. 5th pregnancy but third baby for me. Had a miscarriage in September so really hoping this little one sticks. I’m 12dpo so still really early, due 5th July. Congrats on your pregnancies!

I booked a private early scan this morning for 22 November when I’ll be bang on 8 weeks 🙊 I’m so excited but I just hope I make it that far and that everything goes smoothly.

Is anyone else overly nervous that something might go wrong?? I can’t seem to shake it off 😓
