Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

@MrsG2907 Congratulations! All your signs sounds positive, cramping and darker lines. I know it must be so hard to believe it but yay!

DH and I always test together, so I’ve never had to tell him. Maybe the sooner the better? As then he can reassure you, you can both celebrate and share together? I don’t know, whatever works for you Smile

MrsG2907 · 16/11/2020 12:19

@4Minions2CallMyOwn thank you for the response :)
I’ll tell him this evening. I think I’ve been keeping quiet for long enough now! Very exciting xx

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 16/11/2020 12:24

@MrsG2907 you’re welcome! That’s so exciting! I bet mow that you’ve decided today will crawl by and seen to last forever haha

Any special way you’re planning to surprise him?

Hopingfor3 · 16/11/2020 12:53

@Boc86 breastfeeding is one thing I do not miss 😂😂 I know loads of people love it but I find it hard work!! Both my girls were 100% bottle refuses so was extremely tying, they both had to spend time outside weddings I was attending with my mum so I could keep popping out and feeding haha xx

MrsG2907 · 16/11/2020 13:04

@4Minions2CallMyOwn think I’m going to keep it simple :) I think he will be really shocked xx

Boc86 · 16/11/2020 14:43

Hi @NamechangeTTC do you have a positive too!! Congratulations! I need to read backwards in the thread I haven’t been able to read any yet

Congratulations @MrsG2907 my cramps are daily still I’m 4 weeks today just feel like AF is on the way. I told OH the morning after my positive when I got another positive just so I was sure

@Hopingfor3 aww really haha
I just fed wherever I was because she was a quick feeder and I could do it really discreetly

NamechangeTTC · 16/11/2020 14:47

@Boc86 a tentative one! Apps recognised it today 11dpo.

Congratulations to all the new BFPs.

Is anyone else struggling with nausea? I spend all my time heaving. If anyone's got any tips on how the manage it because I'm definitely not eating and drinking enough.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 16/11/2020 15:37

@PeanutButterFalcon I usually sip flat ginger beer and that removes the nausea completely.

Not feeling sick yet but as soon as I do DH knows what to get Grin

Hope you feel better soon!

PurBal · 16/11/2020 15:37

@marsvar28 how are you doing today?

robodo · 16/11/2020 15:38

@PeanutButterFalcon im having the worst day with nausea and vomiting today I never eat a great deal but I'm started to worry a little with how t keep healthy

Luckyelephant1 · 16/11/2020 15:39

Hey, I'm 6+2 today. Still barely any symptoms, boobs normal, no nausea. Possibly hungrier than usual in the mornings and gassier at night but that's me studying myself really closely lol. I have a persistent UTI which I've just been given a new round of antibiotics for so maybe that's overshadowing things atm (I get UTIs all the time)

Anyone else at a similar stage to me almost completely asymptomatic?

Hopefulmummie · 16/11/2020 15:44

@Luckyelephant1 I'm the same no real symptoms. Boobs are a bit tender the odd time. No nausea. Cramping on and off. I get more worried as the days go on about lack of symptoms. I'm 5+5 I have an early scan on Friday so hopefully will get some reassurance

Jilly1988 · 16/11/2020 15:45

@Luckyelephant1 I am the exact same as you. I am 6 weeks today and do not feel pregnant in the slightest. My boobs are not sore at all, not one bit of nausea. I get hungry like you and bloat in the afternoon but that is it. I have had a bit of a worry about it 🙈

PeanutButterFalcon · 16/11/2020 15:56

@4Minions2CallMyOwn thank you. I've got lots of ginger beer and ice lollies but it doesn't seem to help for long. I just keep sipping when I can.

@robodo it's a real worry isn't it! I'm getting to the point of thinking I might have to phone the GP I usually get a couple hours break in the evening where I try to eat/drink as much as I can. We just have to do the best we possibly can.

Luckyelephant1 · 16/11/2020 16:03

@Hopefulmummie @Jilly1988 glad it's not just me! I suppose we should feel lucky to not be getting nausea etc yet! I did mention the lack of symptoms to my GP today when I had an appointment to discuss the UTI and she said it's nothing to worry about at all, everyone is different etc and that's how some pregnancies can go undetected for weeks! I know that's true but it's hard not to worry all the same x

MaryLola · 16/11/2020 16:06

@peanutbutterfalcon I'm at 5+3 and haven't hit the nausea stage yet but I purchased vitamin b6 and the mama sea bands in anticipation. I can't say just yet if they help but just some ideas for you

Boc86 · 16/11/2020 16:12

Great lines @NamechangeTTC mine just wouldn’t come up as positive on the app so I pressed positive myself lol

@PeanutButterFalcon I can’t believe how bad my nausea has been today and I’m only 4 weeks
I’ve had it 5am-12pm and 1:30pm- till now 4pm it’s not gone now so I’m presuming it’s hanging around!
Food helps for half hour

Hopingfor3 · 16/11/2020 16:24

The problem wasn't the discretion it was that they weren't invited so my poor mum spent the entire day outside a wedding venue so I could pop out and feed 😂😂😂😂 xx

Blughbablugh · 16/11/2020 16:59

My nausea has been pretty constant fir a week now, im 7 weeks today. I didn't get any either my my dd and thought I was one of the lucky ones that just doesn't get it but I guess what they say is true that every pregnancy is different!

Julybaby2021 · 16/11/2020 18:03

@PurBal im doing ok. Been having alot of nausea last few days. Have my early scan tomorrow. Still having some spotting😰 so nervous for tomorrow😬🤭 hows everything with you? Xx

PeanutButterFalcon · 16/11/2020 18:30

@MaryLola thank you. I'm taking B6 but it doesn't seem to be lifting it. Haven't thought about the sea bands although it's going to be impossible to wear them to work. Will look into them thank you. Hope the nausea stays away for you.

@Boc86 I've had it since 4 weeks as well now 6+3. The one time you feel a bit of relief you start to worry until you feel sick again.

Forest27 · 16/11/2020 18:47

Congrats on all the BFP everyone 🎉

I’m 4 weeks today and AF is due 18th-20th.

Is anyone having light cramping this early? It’s making me anxious! I have an early scan booked in 3 weeks - it can’t come quick enough!!

jewelsx · 16/11/2020 18:48

Congrats to all the new BFPs! I can’t believe how fast this thread is moving 😊

@Forest27 yes absolutely normal to have those cramps. Also absolutely normal for them to make you anxious, they certainly did me!
