Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hey can I join? I got my BFP yesterday, due date 21st July!

This is my 2nd, and was a huge surprise as I'm still breastfeeding my 10.5 month old! Anyone else still breastfeeding whilst pregnant? It's not comfortable!

Congratulations :) I'm still breastfeeding my 20 month old - luckily - only at bedtimes now. Happy for her to continue unless it becomes uncomfortable ! I hoped she would self wean so I had a breastfeeding break in between babies, doesn't look like that will happen any time soon ha ha !

Thank you ! I have my fingers and toes crossed too. Congratulations on your pregnancy. My cycles are normally longer than 28 days (usually between 30 and 34) so we may end up with the same due date. I worked out mine currently from the first day of last period but I know I will have ovulated later in my cycle. Eeekk x

Ah yes my boy is a total boob monster and still wakes up 3/4x a night for boob, I'm hoping to wean him off my the time he's 1 (Dec) and hoping that means he will sleep so I can get some rest and grow his brother or sister! :p

@Hopingfor3 I'm still breastfeeding my 1yo. Probably 6-8 times in 24 hours so no sign of giving up any time soon! We were 'trying' but I haven't had a period so I was surprised it happened so quickly.

Half wondering about tandem feeding but I'm not sure. Anyone else thinking about tandem feeding? Will speak to the midwife at my booking appointment about it. I'm getting slightly sore but only very slightly so far x

@strawberrycherryblossom I’m thinking about tandem feeding. Not sure yet! Still bf my 17 month old but just first thing in the morning and just before bed. I know your breasts are supposed to be clever and produce bespoke to each baby but surely when you first have another at least it’s got to be mostly newborn tailored milk? Definitely need to read into it more!

Hi hope everyone is ok this weekend.

I've had random sharp pains across the middle of my stomach today. Had anyone else experienced this?I'm 5+4

My daughter was waking loads in the night wanting boob but then 3 months in to pregnancy my milk dried up completely and she was just screaming after a feed and finally took a bottle (15 months of refusing before hand)!!! I had dropped to BMI of 17 though and I just think my body couldn't support everything and everyone haha!!!

I know of a few people who have tandem fed though so it's defo possible!! Xx

@NamechangeTTC congratulations!! We have the same LMP and around same due date, I’ve been testing positive for a week now, I wonder if I ovulated really early this month.

Ours are almost identical @MamaMoonbeam. I’m trying not to panic about it being light! I feel like my period is about to appear crampy and heavy.

What day are you on? I’m a lot more anxious than I expected.

For those with kids already, when are you planning on telling them? My dd is only 3, almost 4 but is baby obsessed at the moment. She's asked for a (real) baby for Christmas! we of course have got her a baby annabel but really not sure whether to tell her or not at Christmas. She's only 3 and won't get the concept of waiting and that the baby won't arrive then and there and of course is it too early to tell her? Ill be 12 weeks by then.

@namechangeTTC I wouldn't worry about it being light. Mine was like that a few days before AF was due and I was worried as my previous pregnancies the line was much darker. However I got a 1-2 on clearblue 2 days after that and this week took another and got 3+ and a really dark first response 😊
@Blughbablugh when I had my second I told my daughter quite early on as she had a tendency to jump on me etc. She was only 2 so didn't really understand but knew I had a baby in my tummy. She actually outed us at a family bbq when I was 7 weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️ this time we have a scan booked for just over 7 weeks so if thats OK I may just tell them then.
