Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Just booked my private scan eek I'll be 8 weeks so in another 3 weeks but now wondering should I book one sooner lol

So after epu told me I couldn't get an early scan unless I had symptoms I messaged a girl in maternity to see if she could speak to them as I have been really anxious and want to rule out another ectopic. After I booked my private scan she messaged me and said they will scan me next Friday when I will be 6+2 at least I will get some reassurance sooner

Can I join please? Just got my bfp on Monday. It hasn’t properly sunk in yet. We’re super thrilled but cautious at the same after early MC in August. Due date is about 17 July. Fingers crossed for us all xxx

As it stands I'd take first trimester over my period any day! I usually get severe cramps and my anxiety just PEAKS. I feel oddly calm.

Although I finally got my letters yesterday from the hospital for my booking in appointment and my 12 week scan which is a relief!

Can't believe how Many of you have booking apts and scans already!! Well jel xx

It's so lush knowing so many others are right where I am. I hope all your scans go smoothly. @WalkingMeAway it certainly does feel like a strange time, but I reckoned if I was going to have a baby, now would be a good time for a bit of hope!

Got all my appointment letters yesterday, rescheduled my nuchal scan for 13+2 as I want to be with family over christmas but booked a private scan for 10+6 so we can check everything is ok before telling everyone. Presently 5+4 and I still can't believe how calm I feel. I have moments of worry, but mainly just excitement. I spent so much of my twenties wanting the time to be perfect and for my career to take off, like it was a choice, I'm 29 now. Is anyone else in the same boat?
I just keep thinking about all the amazing mamas rocking careers and their babas though, and knowing I can do it too!

Anyone else thinking of moving closer to their family (if an option)?

@Hopingfor3 I'm sure you'll get your letters soon! I was so worried all week I even started a thread about it, but then they arrived yesterday. Feels like a weight off. Won't be long x

@Hopingfor3 I've received nothing either though I live in northern Ireland and we don't get a booking appointment the 1st appointment you have is your 12 week scan which seems ages away as will be after xmas

@Hopefulmummie where I am they aren't sending out appointments until the week before incase anything changes with Covid so not letters for me either

@Hopefulmummie hey girl im from NI as well. I got my booking in app - i'll be nearly 13 weeks by the time it comes around. After xmas. So annoying. Wish it was week before xmas so i could tell it🙈 xx

@marsvar28 hey it's good having someone who is from the same area. I was told my scan would be after Xmas too.
I have a scan next week with epu as I had an ectopic pregnancy in June.

Are you going to book a private scan before maybe?

@marsvar28 @Hopefulmummie I'm NI too. Rang drs on Friday and they said they'd refer so no idea when I'll hear about the scan. Probably after Xmas but going to book a private one for before Xmas.

@Hopefulmummie @MaryLola the weeks upto xmas are dragggging aren't they🙈 yes i have a private one booked at the end of this month.. i'll be 8weeks exactly. Booked with window to the womb. Theres noway i could wait so long. Hope i make it to the 8 weeks.. with having some brown spotting. 🙏🤞 Hope use are both doing well xx

@MaryLola @marsvar28 I know it seems an awful long time to wait until after Xmas.

We have one booked for 8 weeks too as I want to tell our family around this time so wanted a scan to make sure everything is ok so far

@Lille4 Congratulations!!! I know how you feel, we had a MMC in August also so are excited but also nervous and cautious. Our due date is 23rd July so close to yours

I said I would update. Basically the scan was inconclusive and I need to go back for another scan in two weeks.

Based on LMP I am 5+5 (I think) but my cycles are slightly longer and the tracker app said I that based on ovulation I am 5+1. There is no detectable heartbeat but we were told it was too early to determine one way or another in terms of viability. Yolk sac is there. Based on the size of the fetal pole, 2mm, I think this is in keeping with 5+1 and they asked if my dates were correct so I wonder if they were looking for something bigger and I've no idea why I didn't think to mention my longer (32 days ish) cycles. I've stopped bleeding which is good so just trying to remain calm for now.

@marsvar28 were you able to get in touch with your GP?

@inahaze how have you found the B6? Is it helping? Thankfully I haven't being feeling too sick just yet but its early days. I'm quite a nauseous person, smells and travel can set me off so I think it's just a matter of time before the sickness hits me. I was thinking of starting the B6 as a preventive. Seen online it recommends 10mg 3 times a day. Have you found tablets that have 10mg?
