Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

@inahaze our daughter will be 14 when the baby comes, think that they definitely won't play together 🤪

severusfox · 10/11/2020 19:06

@MrsH2019 what's the link? I've joined one group..

Thanks 😘

PurBal · 10/11/2020 19:15

Please pray if you're the praying type. Started spotting this morning (5+4 based on LMP). I have an appointment at the early pregnancy clinic tomorrow morning. Trying to remain optimistic.

Hopingfor3 · 10/11/2020 19:19

My Mum is 10 years older than her sister and she spent all her time with her. She did nursery nursing probs because of having her younger sister to look after while growing up! Defo not a guaranteed no. My eldest will be 4 when baby arrives and I know she won't play with them like she does Lottie (nearly 3 when baby arrives), I know they'll have a really special bond 💜🖤🤍

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/11/2020 19:23

@AnxiousAnnie86 No they won’t play together but if your 14 year old is anything like ours then you’ll have a live in babysitter who your baby adores Grin

@inahaze the age gap between our oldest 2 is 4 years. When DS was born it was good as DD was at school and I had some time alone with DS. DD adored DS and played and looked after him lots. Took on a pretend Mummy role. Now that they are older 14 and 10 they don’t really engage as much, DD tends to be in her room a lot and DS plays with his younger brother. Their age gap is only 2 years so they are much closer tbh

I think that’s probably normal for a teenager- or at least that’s what all my friends ones do!

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/11/2020 19:26

@purbal I’m so sorry, will be thinking of you tomorrow and really hope it goes well Flowers

If it’s helpful I’ve spotted at a similar stage with 2 of mine, gone to EPU for early scans and all has been okay, they are now 10 and 8 Xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/11/2020 19:26

@4Minions2CallMyOwn unfortunately she's really really not into little children, she has four little girl cousins and doesn't give them the time of day! Hopefully she will feel Different about a brother or sister 😂

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/11/2020 19:28

@AnxiousAnnie86 ours wasn’t either, she kept saying she wouldn’t have a bond with her sister as the age gap was so big. She’s now Mummy Number 2 to our little one and is her favourite person in the world. So you never know!

AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/11/2020 19:28

@4Minions2CallMyOwn awww I really hope so! Xx

MrsH2019 · 10/11/2020 19:33

@PurBal will be thinking and praying for you. I have spotted in this pregnancy. I did in my first pregnancy with my daughter.

@severusfox I’ve PM’d you about the Facebook group. Anyone else that wants to join just PM me xx

Mumoft22m · 10/11/2020 19:35

@Rightthen24 I had a stitch with my second because I have an incompetent cervix. My first was born at 27 weeks. I’m worried about pre term and having a stitch again.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/11/2020 19:41

@PurBal sending lots of love! But try not to worry too much, I have seen so many people say it's completely normal! As long as not accompanied by severe cramps x

Pepper0610 · 10/11/2020 19:46

Hi everyone!
I’ve been testing for a couple of days and today got a pretty visible faint line on a Poundland test. So did a Clear blue ultra early and digital which came back with a strong line and clear pregnant!
Baby #3 for us, ages 2.9years and 14 months.
Is it normal to get a positive so soon? My periods not due till Monday!
Wishing you all a happy 9 months!!

WalkingMeAway · 10/11/2020 19:49

@MrsH2019 thank you! Yes we probably will. We found out with both our others so if the option is there as part of the test I can’t see us not! Are you finding out ?

WalkingMeAway · 10/11/2020 19:53

@inahaze when our second was born our eldest was 7 and a girl so loved to be the second ‘mum’. She was very helpful. They don’t interact much now I’m afraid as he just sabotages anything she’s trying to do and she’s not interested in playing with cars. They love each other fiercely though Smile

@PurBal thinking of you x

@Pepper0610 congratulations ! That is an early result but there’s no denying multiple positives.

Zo35 · 10/11/2020 19:53

I've just pm'd you @MrsH2019 about the Facebook group - thank you!

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/11/2020 19:54

Hi Pepper0610 Congratulations! I tested positive last Friday, my period isn’t due until this Friday so it was a week early! I’m not even 4 weeks pregnant yet- so definitely possible though so early I did wonder. The line has been getting darker though and CB digital is 1-2 weeks so all seems to be on track so far Smile

JZBLD · 10/11/2020 19:54

My last test was a bit of a squinter. There's no denying that now! 5 weeks today exactly by LMP!

Zo35 · 10/11/2020 19:54

Hope everyone is doing ok. I've been quite quiet over the last few days but feeling the same really - bit of nausea (particularly when hungry), tired, crampy and bloated.

PeanutButterFalcon · 10/11/2020 20:05

Congratulations to all the BFPs.

@PurBal will say a little prayer for you tonight. I hope everything is ok.

@Zo35 I've had an upset stomach today and I keep worrying about what could happen and check that my boobs still hurt. Need to keep busy I think but tired too!

Pepper0610 · 10/11/2020 20:08

@WalkingMeAway thankyou!

@4Minions2CallMyOwn congratulations to you too! It’s crazy isn’t it, it’ll still be on edge untill after my period day. I keep reading things online about twins (eeeeeek) I’m pretty sure I can’t be further along so just must have high levels this time. Hoping to book in for an early scan around Xmas x

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 10/11/2020 20:18

@Pepper0610 Thank you! Yes we were so shocked when we tested. It’s taking me time to believe it also...

Yes we will hopefully be booking a scan around xmas also. It feels like forever away though!

strawberrycherryblossom · 10/11/2020 20:30

@PurBal sending love and luck. Let us know how you get on x

marsvar28 · 10/11/2020 23:56
