Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

After briefly thinking I would be in the June 21 group my dates are actually wrong and I'm currently due on 15th July now! At least I've an extra month to prepare.

No idea on ovulation dates or anything but I got my BFP about a week ago late on Monday night. Its so crazy because we had been trying for a while so I really wasn't expecting anything at all, in fact we had been discussing when to book a doctors appointment for intervention.

I was about 3.5 weeks when I got my positive test. Two weeks before that I was convinced I was pregnant, my boobs were sore, I was having cramping and I just felt deep down I was. I took a test every day for 5 days and despite them ALL coming back completely negative, not even a hint of a line but for some reason I was still convinced.

2 weeks later I got my BFP.

Thanks everyone you’ve all been really helpful!

@strawberrycherryblossom yes this is also one of my worries as I defo want to get a private scan before Xmas, although my fertility dr wants me to come for a scan next Friday and she knows all my dates so I’m hoping there will be something very very tiny to see!

strawberrycherryblossom · 10/11/2020 14:10

@Kg87 I had a scan at 7+5 last time and saw an alien shaped blob and a yolk sac but the most important thing for me was seeing the heartbeat. I think generally speaking a heartbeat is visible from approx 6 weeks but the closer you get to 12 the more 'baby shaped' it will be. I've booked a scan for when I think I'll be 8 ish weeks. Not 100% sure on my dates though!

Good luck next week x

Lostwordsblessing · 10/11/2020 14:13

Hi everyone! Thanks to @Blughbablugh for giving me the heads up here.

I started showing symptoms about two weeks ago, I thought it was just PMS (sore boobs) but then I was getting light, constant cramping for about two-three days before I was due on and knew something felt different. Obviously, I didn't come on, and took three tests, third one Clearblue and most definitely pregnant!

We've been talking alot about kids and being lax with contraception. Second cycle of giving it a go (we thought my partner had fertility issues because of two varicoceles) and we've had our minds blown.

Symptoms are mild, just feel like I'm about to come on my period. My GP put me at 5 weeks so heading into my 6th now.

Is there a special lingo I should be aware of? This is my first pregnancy and I'm wilfully ignorant!

Wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies x Halloween Smile

Lostwordsblessing · 10/11/2020 14:17

@luxxlisbon This was me too! My first couple of tests were a little faint, and my partner was ready to just take that, but I said "I'm unconvinced I'm NOT pregnant." I find it amazing how we know the subtle difference. I can't really describe it.

Is anyone else having super vivid dreams? I can't believe how colourful and mad they are.

Rightthen24 · 10/11/2020 14:23

Hi ladies,
Can I join too. I've just found out I'm pregnant with my second 😁
I had a cervical stitch placed pre pregnancy due to my lack of cervix so this will be a high risk, anxious pregnancy 😭
I've had some spotting today which has really upset me but I know that's pretty normal, everything is such a worry for me 🤦‍♀️

@Lostworsblessing glad you found us!
Yes I'm having vivid dreams as well. I wake up utterly exhausted but that could be because our 3 year old has got in to a habit of crawling in to bed with us in the middle of the night and she's such a wriggler! Confused

Kg87 · 10/11/2020 15:08

@strawberrycherryblossom ahh that’s good to hear, thank you! I will definitely book a private one after next week as I don’t think I can wait until 12 weeks.

Also I know I probably shouldn’t panic myself, I did a Poundland cheapie on Saturday and that was my first BFP which I then followed up with a FRER for confirmation, I’ve just done another cheapie and expected it to be as dark as the control line but it’s not.. I’m technically only 15DPO so should I be worried? I’ve attached the pics of Saturday on my bed and just now in the Tupperware!

Mine weren't even remotely faint. I was holding them up at all angles trying to see the possibility of a line and NOTHING. I left one in the bathroom and my husband went up to it and said "that line (the control line) is even darker than the last time!" and I was like 'oh great, its an even stronger negative than before, thanks for pointing that out!' 😂

It so strange because I don't really get any PMS symptoms at all, other than cramping so I didn't really imagine I would be able to just know I was pregnant but it is funny how it works sometimes.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 10/11/2020 15:13

@Kg87 my one step wasn't very dark at 15 dpo! Same as yours x

Kg87 · 10/11/2020 15:16

@AnxiousAnnie86 ahh okay thank you, I’m still waiting for my new FRERs in the post so I’ll do another of those when they arrive, I just want to see it getting really dark 😂

MrsH2019 · 10/11/2020 15:19

@Kg87 have you done a clear blue digital? I found that helped settled my nerves seeing the weeks go up. Xx

strawberrycherryblossom · 10/11/2020 15:23

@Kg87 I wouldn't worry about the cheapy ones too much. Have you done a CB digital? I know testing isn't a reliable way of knowing things are progessinh but seeing the number of weeks change really helped me. These are my IC tests. Top is my first sniff of a line at 9/10dpo and bottom is 13/14dpo. Still not as dark as the control but I'm getting 3+ on a CB digi x

strawberrycherryblossom · 10/11/2020 15:24

Doh. Picture didn't post.

Kg87 · 10/11/2020 15:29

@MrsH2019 @strawberrycherryblossom
Oh that’s a good idea, I haven’t done a CB date one, is 3+ the max it goes to?

strawberrycherryblossom · 10/11/2020 15:35

@Kg87 yes. But that would make you 5+ weeks x

Kg87 · 10/11/2020 15:37

@strawberrycherryblossom ahh I see, okay I’ll give that a go, thank you!!

cakecakecheese · 10/11/2020 16:00

I've done my second official test today which came back positive, really strong line now, so my clinic have given me a date for my early scan, 25th November. So now I have to try not to drive myself too mad til then!

3rdtimelucky2019 · 10/11/2020 16:04

I feel absolutely shattered today. 7 weeks. 13 days until private scan to see if things are looking ok.

Praying my DS sleeps through the night tonight!

Hi @Lostwordsblessing I posted on your other thread about self referall but was already on here too!

Can't believe how similar we are, my husband also had a varicocele so we were at the point of starting to worry until I got my BFP on the 30th (cycle 5 of trying).

I have barely any symptoms either.

Luckyelephant1 · 10/11/2020 16:46

Oh actually now that it's been mentioned, I have had a few very vivid rather disturbing dreams yeah. Usually I forget dreams as soon as I wake up but these have stuck with me, makes me question what on earth my subconscious is thinking!

Hopefulmummie · 10/11/2020 18:18

Trying to convince myself that these cramps and normal but just thinking the worse cause it just feels like AF is going to come. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow.. anyone else like this?

WalkingMeAway · 10/11/2020 18:22

Hi Ladies. Hope you don’t mind if I join! I’ve changed my name for this thread. Congratulations to you all 🥳

Just found out today I’m pregnant with no3 (hopefully!). We have an 11 year old and a 4 year old. We’ve not had a great year (who has) but looking at this as a blessing (we weren’t ttc)

I tested as was a few days late then yesterday had a metallic taste in my mouth, coupled with sore boobs today I pretty much knew!

I’ve booked a private scan for 8 weeks and will book for the Harmony test as I am old 😂 (over 40)

Due Date 19th July all being well 🤞🏻

MrsH2019 · 10/11/2020 18:25

Congratulations @WalkingMeAway do you think you will find out the gender with your harmony test. Yes this year hasn’t been too great, but a new bundle will be a nice thing to look forward to.

@Hopefulmummie I’ve been having on and off cramps. Mainly in my back. I think it’s our bodies just stretching. Trying not to read into it too much unless it gets unbearable. Xx

inahaze · 10/11/2020 18:32

Congrats @WalkingMeAway ! How have you found the age gap with your first two children? I have a nearly 5 yr old and I'm desperate for them to play together but wonder if the gap is too big already
