Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

Urghhhhh it's starting to get painful feeding my toddler (yes he still has a breastfeed a day at 21 months).
I'm now completely torn between weaning him as it's sore but all the research and the WHO have advised to keep BF if you can through the pandemic because of the high levels of antibody protection if exposed to or you get coronavirus. So much so one research in the netherlands is giving recovered coronavirus donors breastmilk to the elderly to boost their immune system!

strawberrycherryblossom · 04/11/2020 08:31

@Scottishskifun we are pushing through and still feeding, though we are only 11 months so not as old as your LO. Do you plan to tandem feed once baby is here?

Scottishskifun · 04/11/2020 08:46

@strawberrycherryblossom I hadn't planned on but nor had I ever planned to be feeding a toddler! I go for the don't offer don't refuse approach but he does ask me especially in the mornings.
I don't want him to feel pushed out but don't know how he will cope with fast flow again and he had the tendency even when a baby to try and control it by clamping down! Confused

Luckyelephant1 · 04/11/2020 08:48

Maybe TMI but is anyone noticing a change in bowel movements? I've gone from being someone who is usually a bit constipated, to needing to go a couple of times a day. It's not diarrhoea at all, it's probably what others would call normal for them. Quite enjoying suddenly being a bit more regular 😂

EatPrayYoga · 04/11/2020 09:09

I am 5 weeks today and I have had mild cramping since last week and also occasional pulling but not painful sensations on my left side.

Bowel movement wise I am constipated and have a bit of wind. I had this early in my first pregnancy too.

I also at night seem to get an empty hungry feeling in my stomach but not sure if it's hunter or indigestion as it's after dinner. I'm feeling a little sick too but I don't mind as long as baby is okay! 💗

ZoeRoma · 04/11/2020 10:55

I'm feeling great physically at present. Only symptoms are hunger and slightly sore breasts, but really nothing to complain about. Heads still all over the place, though Grin

Boymama89 · 04/11/2020 12:02

Hope your all well guys 😌 I can't stop testing.Omg the relief to see the first response test get darker . I'm really really hoping this is a sticky baby. Pregnancy after loss is so hard

So is there no Facebook group yet?

I am working from home, but I always have done :)

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/11/2020 12:13

@Boymama89 omg same! I test so often it's been over a week since I got 2-3 on a digital, but I darent do another digital in case it hasn't progressed, but the lines on cheapies are deffo getting darker

ZoeRoma · 04/11/2020 12:14

Oops, I think I accidentally just replied to an old message. I'll blame baby brain already.

Luckyelephant1 · 04/11/2020 12:48

I can't stop testing every day either but just cheapo ones! The lines are darkening which is reassuring. I think I will force myself to stop by the end of the week. It's hard though when there aren't many other symptoms yet except period type ones so doing a cheapo a day keeps the anxiety at bay 🤷‍♀️

Hopefulmummie · 04/11/2020 12:56

Hi girls..

Feeling a bit disappointed today. Rang my GP today to report the pregnancy and she told me to get in contact with early pregnancy unit as they normally scan early with a previous ectopic. Rang them and they said they wouldn't bring me in for a scan unless I was having symptoms of an ectopic like before. I thought I was going to be getting an early scan to put my mind at ease. Will maybe just book a private one

stellarfox · 04/11/2020 12:58

@Scottishskifun We are still bf at 17 months first thing and last thing. Not sure how long we will continue for! I don’t want to make her stop before she’s ready and she seems to really enjoy it still, and Covid protection benefits! Also it’s a great way to calm her down or distract her if she’s poorly. I think we will keep going for now and see nearer the time whether to stop before the next arrives

stellarfox · 04/11/2020 13:00

@Hopefulmummie That’s a shame. Did they say they would before? Maybe things have changed with Covid. Yes maybe a good idea to book a private scan! Did you have the telling symptoms last time?

Hopefulmummie · 04/11/2020 13:20

@stellarfox when I was in hospital with my ectopic pregnancy they told me if I became pregnant again I would be scanned from 6 weeks to rule out an ectopic. Maybe they are just more stricter now. Hopefully I have no pains or bleeding and will just book a private scan

WomanFormerlyKnownAsKarateGirl · 04/11/2020 13:30

Hello. I was strongly suspicious that I was pregnant before my missed period, but didn't take a test until 19 dpo as we were on holiday. Took us both by surprise, we only decided to start trying this month, it took much longer last time!

Struggling with nausea already. Porridge for breakfast is out of the window, can't deal with the texture any more 🤢

WomanFormerlyKnownAsKarateGirl · 04/11/2020 13:34

Oh, also suffering with excruciating nipple pain! I'm still bf Madame 27 months once or twice a day and it's like razor blades.

Boymama89 · 04/11/2020 13:42

@AnxiousAnnie86 it’s ridiculous isn’t it? I don’t think I’ll bother taking the other digital, like you said in case it doesn’t jump up to 3+ I don’t have many symptoms really, so by doing the tests, it keeps the anxiety away for a little bit at least.

AnxiousAnnie86 · 04/11/2020 14:11

@Boymama89 no I don't either! Really painful boobs and I'm so tired but that's all!! My line looked dark on a strip test so maybe I should do it but I darent.... what symptoms do you have? X

rhuzzle89 · 04/11/2020 15:46

Argh, so had a smear in Jan pre covid which was borderline then repeat in Sept (supposed to be June) and just found out I've been referred for colposcopy. Flip! Not sure if i can have while pregnant so waiting for GP to call back.

PLB123 · 04/11/2020 17:07

Hi everyone, congratulations to you all! I have been following the last couple of days as I found out I was expecting just before 4 weeks! 2nd pregnancy for me, MMC in August. Fell pregnant 1st cycle after period which I know is lucky but can’t help but feeling it’s all going to end again 😔. Trying to think positive but the other thoughts still creep in! Been having quite intense cramps the last couple of days. Not many like once/twice a day but lasts over 5mins! Anyone had anything like this? Trying not to freak out! Thanks xxx

Mumoft22m · 04/11/2020 18:52

Hi not even 4 weeks yet tho I suspect I’m a bit further as I’m sure I ovulated early. I feel completely drained, like a zombie 🧟‍♀️ . The cramps have set in today and I had brown when I wiped yesterday 😑. Stressing but I bled a few times with both my boys so I think it’s just normal for me.

Char1803 · 04/11/2020 19:30

Joining as 4 weeks with EDD 8th July. I'm so glad to see everyone else is having the same worries as me.

This is cycle 1 TTC baby #1 I feel so lucky that it happened so quick I am just so worried something will go wrong.

So nice to know I'm not absolutely crazy and other people feel the same as me 😂🥰

Congrats to everyone!! 🎉

MStaff20 · 04/11/2020 20:54

Hey ladies I got my positive on Sunday and I’m so excited. It’s our first and I have no idea what I’m doing 😂😂

MrsMDD · 04/11/2020 21:51

Hi all. Congrats on all your bfps. I had a mmc end of June and a d and c in July. Had a chemical then in September and got my bfp on Monday at 9dpo. Never got a bfp that early so worried something is wrong. Doesnt feel real at all, boobs only slightly sore, dull ache in lower left side comes and goes and have been tired each night this week very early except not today. Afraid its gone already. So hard to not think the worst. Fingers crossed for sticky
