Hi everyone!

There doesn’t seem to be a thread yet for July 2021, probably because most of you haven’t got your BFP yet! I got mine yesterday at 9DPO which was super early but had a pretty clear line on a FRER with afternoon urine, so confirmed with a digital. My due date is 4th July 2021 and I can’t wait for more of you to join me!! Feeling excited but a bit overwhelmed / not everything has sunk in yet. Also it’s still super early so I’m crossing my fingers (and legs!) that this little one sticks. It’s my first baby so I have no experience of any of this!

Hopefully see more of you in the next few days!!

Xx

@Blughbablugh fingers crossed it does! Doesn't even to be gender related as I had girl, boy, boy!!
I'm only thinking about having the nipt as I'd rather be able to do something about it sooner than later (if something bad were to come up)....i know there are plenty of 'older' mums who have healthy babies and similarly plenty of younger mum's who sadly don't...... plus we can find out the sex really early!!
I think having my mmc has made me realise how fragile it all is, I sort of took for granted all would be well.

ASL03 · 29/10/2020 16:18

Hi Ladies,

I’m so glad there is a thread for babies due in July! I found out last Sunday that I am expecting and due date will be around 6th July. I feel like I’m spending so much time in this forum at the moment, so it’s great to speak to people in the same boat.
I feel like I’m spending a lot of time worrying something is going to go wrong and googling every little thing, but guess that’s probably normal. This will be my first so no idea what to expect ❤️❤️

Blughbablugh · 29/10/2020 16:19

@Candyflosscrochet yeah I know what you mean. When I got pregnant last time I thought it would be fine as no problems with first one but unfortunately not.
I really want to know the sex this time as with my dd it was a surprise. We didn't want to know at first and then we got to the 20 week scan we decided to find out but the little madam had her cord underneath her bottom. No amount of jiggling around would move it so we gave up and went for a surprise. This time though it will be much more useful in sorting out my dds old clothes Grin

Hi! I've had two positive tests, one on Tuesday & one on Wednesday! Due on 10th July. It's my first pregnancy. I really wasn't expecting to get a bfp as it was our first cycle trying & I felt like I was getting period pains, I guess it was pregnancy pains instead! I'd love a fb group for support and advice since antenatal classes aren't really happening due to covid, maybe they will be able to start again by next summer. Reading some of the posts I realise there's a lot of pregnancy related acronyms that I have no idea what they mean!

Lollipop87 · 29/10/2020 22:02

@ASL03 and @Stephanoo12 congrats!! We all seem to be worrying, I think that’s a normal thing for early pregnancy! I’ve set up a private Facebook group if either of you would like to join, there’s about 20 of us on there and it’s great to have different posts grouped by topic. If you’d like to join just pm me whatever email address is linked to your Facebook account and I’ll add you 😊

@Lollipop87 How do I add myself to the Facebook group? X

Lollipop87 · 29/10/2020 22:48

@Baconbuttie1988 it’s a hidden group so that no random Facebook people can decide to join it / your Facebook friends can’t see you’re a member - so you just need to pm me whatever email address is linked to your Facebook account and I’ll add you 😊

Bets2801 · 30/10/2020 09:03

Glad to have found this thread! I’m currently 4 week 6 days pregnant so very early days! Thats the only problem with the FRER tests you find out so early and it’s a lonnnng way to go :) this is my second pregnancy..I’m still breastfeeding my nine month old Shock ..we weren’t really but we weren’t using protection as both said we wouldn’t mind if it happened but still a little sooner than expected! No symptoms at all yet except mild cramping, hope you’re all feeling well :)

@Lollipop87 - I don't think I got added to the group? Xx

Jilly1988 · 01/11/2020 09:04

Hey All

Can I join. I am only 4 weeks today and 13dpo. AF was due yesterday but had a very faint line from 10dpo. Very nervous as I had a chemical pregnancy in August so been a little obsessed with POAS and hoping the progression is dark enough. Going to slow down with testing after today. NHS website saying I’m due around 11th July

Luckyelephant1 · 01/11/2020 09:46

Hi all, can I join? Tested at 10DPO on Thursday and had a very faint line, since then I've tested a few more times and it's a definitely a BFP! Due around 11th July although my cycle length does vary by 1-2 days every month.

This is my first pregnancy and I'm very nervous and overly careful already. Can anyone recommend some good books to get and also the best pregnancy apps?

Jilly1988 · 01/11/2020 09:55

Congratulations @Luckyelephant1 you are very similar to me. I tested on Thursday at 10dpo too and this is my first and feeling nervous too. Trying not to overthink too much.

strawberrycherryblossom · 01/11/2020 10:00

Welcome to all our new ladies!

@Luckyelephant1 I use the BabyCentre app. I didn't have any pregnancy books but I did buy the positive birth company book and did their online hypnobirthing course with my first. Would highly recommend.

Jilly1988 · 01/11/2020 10:08

Have any of you felt a crampy feeling? Since yesterday I have felt a heavy feeling near my uterus? It’s not painful but I’m just aware of the feeling. No other symptoms apart from this.

brokenheart013 · 01/11/2020 10:45

Hey ladies
Hope you're all doing well.its been a very rough week for me.l have been so exhausted and pretty much couldn't do anything.my cramps have upped a notch.8 months like this 🤔

Congrats to you too! Not crampy but I have a heavyish feeling, almost like I am constipated or have just had a massive meal even though neither is true.
Blughbablugh · 01/11/2020 11:30

Hi all. The heavy feeling is pretty normal I think and the cramping as the uterus stretches.
I've been feeling a bit breathless which apparently is a surge in hormones. Going for my flu jab tomorrow (as I have asthma). Very nervous today as exactly 2 months ago this is the point I got to when my bleeding started. I just need to get through the next week to 6 weeks snd then I can relax a bit, or not lol!

brokenheart013 · 01/11/2020 13:39

@Blughbablugh everyday is nerve racking.the journey to 12 weeks is as bad as the tww.hope everything goes well for you this time and fx for everyone until we finish the first trimester

JenC95 · 01/11/2020 13:53

Hi all!

Found out I was pregnant yesterday at 12dpo, last AF was 28th Sept but my cycle was pretty long and didn't ovulate until CD23 so still early days but if I go by my apps then my due date will be around 12/13th July! First month of trying and first baby, so hoping little bean sticks, AF would have been due tomorrow...

Congratulations to all of you, hoping everyone has a healthy pregnancy Smile

Hi all, hope its OK to join. I got my BFP yesterday morning, due date is around 10th July. This will be baby #2 but still feel as anxious as first time!

Penny21xxx · 01/11/2020 14:38

Welcome & congratulations to all the new girls!!💘

Yep my cramping seems to come and go depending on what I’m doing (worse in the night or when I’m driving🤷🏼‍♀️).

Has anyone shared their news with many people or keeping to yourselves for a while? X

Candyflosscrochet · 01/11/2020 14:41

It is nerve racking the 1st 12 weeks, regardless of whether it's your first, 4th, have suffered losses, have lots or no symptoms. Every pregnancy is different and every body is different.
I am going to be positive and optimistic. Today I have no reason to be concerned that all is not well and I don't want to spend my days worrying about something that I have no control over.
I know that's easier said than done and I've had years of practice in lots of areas of my life, but I am focusing on the milestones....getting pregnant after a mmc, an 8wk scan, the nipt test, the 12wk scan, the 20 wk scan then delivery. That's a long time to be anxious and worried about the unknown!! Xx
