So, baby arrived at 3 p.m. this afternoon. It's a little boy weighing nine pounds. Got to stay in hospital for two days because of the group B Strep thing though.

@otterbaby mine never actually got properly regular. I went in for reduced movements and they discovered I was already 5cm. They still weren't regular at 9cm and I was able to hold a conversation between them when fully dilated. Get them to examine you if you think you might be further along than they think. Contraction timings aren't the be all and end all, as it turns out.

@Zaalfruit That's sounds horrendous! Hope your prolapse is sorted now.

@booroo are you feeling anything yet? Have you got the 6 hour or 24 hour pessary? I think only now am I starting to but nothing major. Mines the 24 x

Need another In the early hours 🙈 been strapped to a blooming monitor for hours as her heart rate got quite fast which is fun 🙄 how you getting on?

@booroo ah hope she's ok. I've just come off monitoring baby seems ok luckily. I nearly had a little meltdown because either it's the start of contractions and it wasn't nice at all or it was my spd, my spd makes me almost cry every night so it could be that. I do think something is starting up though. Worried how I'll cope because just had to have paracetamol and am on my tens machine already x

Hi all just wanted to introduce Isabelle her middle name is Ava she was born on 6th weighing 7lbs 4 oz and decided she was going to come of her own accord before the induction!! Xx

Still waiting on baby here. Had a very bad nights sleep, felt very uncomfortable and was up and down for hours.

I went to the midwife this morning for an unsuccessful sweep, cervix is soft, but still mostly closed. Hoping to get bouncing on the ball and have a clary sage bath and hopefully things will get moving.

Awww a flurry of babies!!!!! Congrats all!! Love the names and pictures.

Nothing to report from last night post acupuncture, baby was more active than normal and I put some clary sage on a muslin by my pillow. I’m just on a long solo walk on Hampstead Heath, halfway point having a massive hot choc and imagining coming here with the baby soon!

Hope everyone who is still in the preggers club is holding up ok and not uncomfortable or in too much pain. Also last night I stopped drinking water about 8ish which made a massive difference to my night as only got up 3-4 times compared to about 8 the night before!

The sweep did zero last night, so I went for breakfast this morning with my mum and brought home some carrot cake as a treat to cheer me up. 🤣

Had the worst nights sleep, woke up at 3am and the baby's movements were basically non existent so me and DH were trying everything to move him, at 4.45ish he started moving and kicking so he was obviously asleep but it just panicked me. I can't wait for him to be here now xx

How frustrating for those still waiting. Iv had a pessary and having contractions but not intense or long enough yet, so going to be a while

@BntTowers @NWnature @Aquablue1123 @blankiesandunicorns I'm also in the still waiting club. Due date is tomorrow. Had a rubbish nights sleep, had lots of backache but amounted to nothing. Just made me tired and grumpy today!
Have a midwife appointment tomorrow and would like a sweep but I'm not sure if they offer them until 41 weeks?

I'm still in the waiting club, although cant complain as got a few more days until my due date. Had so many cramps again overnight, I've had some mucus plug and then a small bloody show today but still nothing yet, the cramps have gone for now. I hate this guessing game and from reading other posts it seems everyone gets different signals and types/location for contractions. Makes it extra confusing!

I had my 40 week apt yesterday, took 3 midwifes to find her position correctly and her heartbeat so was a bit scary for 10 mins or so. She seems to be fine though although I now feel a little paranoid about her movements - keep questioning whether I'm feeling her move as often, although I think I am - I think its just scared me a bit! Next apt. is 41 weeks for a sweep so we'll see...hoping baby comes before then 🤞

All my niggles from earlier this week have stopped, although I'm still only sleeping a couple of hours at a time - I guess things were just practicing and maybe the worry hasn't helped. Trying to destress today and get back into the positive thinking again. Pretty sure I had some of my plug come away yesterday but wasn't much so who knows...All feels like a massive guessing game!
