Anyone have any remedies for constipation? Have been off Pregnacare for maybe a week now and I thought they might have been causing it but still not much better on that front!

@TheFoz oh God, you've really had such a bad time of it.. can't think of anything to suggest sorry but just wanted to give sympathy because it sounds awful 💜

@GreysLove I just had a private 16 week scan and while I did want to find the gender out, I will say that I could have looked forever and not sure I'd have been able to tell.. although you might have a clearer scan, better position baby or better eyesight.. 😂 so to be sure I'd tell then them you absolutely don't want to know and to have them tell you when to look away!

@DSP21 only thing I can think of is the old fashioned remedies of prunes/prune juice, bran flakes, orange juice, pears.. if you need something in a bit of a hurry though I think Lactulose is safe (and not unpleasant to take) but double check with a doctor or pharmacist to be sure!

@DSP21 I've found drinking orange juice has helped me 🤷🏼‍♀️

@TheFoz jeezo what a terrible time you are having!! I hope you are feeling much better really soon 💐

@DSP21 I have Laxido sachets to drink, up to 5 a day if required. Doctor has advised they are perfectly safe so maybe have a word with the doc to see if they can prescribe you something to help?

Aw @holb54 that’s exciting! Can’t wait to the 20 week scan- seems to be dragging now and I’ve no bump and no real symptoms anymore (except headaches??) so can’t wait for that scan to make it all feel a bit more real and hopefully can start to relax ha ha

Marking my place again as I had a strange 12 week scan where baby wasn't in the right place (upside down and wriggling) so I've kept quiet since then. The sonographer didnt seem hugely concerned but its meant I dont have a proper date (although it is still mid March) I have another scan this Friday though to make sure all is well. Hope everyone is well. I have such crap backache at the moment, only baths seem to work. Thank goodness for baths honestly

@Jenf12 when is your 20 week scan? Mine is November 11th but I'll be 22 weeks then (sure it only makes it more accurate just so nervous for it). I'm thinking of asking if there's anyway of moving it a bit forward, no harm in asking I guess

I've been a bit crampy today (14+4) so not sure whats going on there, hopefully just things growing.

@holb54 mine is 26th oct. Bang on 20 weeks ha ha so can’t complain. Yes you might as well ask, no harm!

@HeatherSue I'm due on the same day (well it'll be around then that I have my c section) with number 3 also. How you feeling?

@LittleBrownBaby - ah how lovely. How old are you other two? Do you have boys or girls? I'm feeling okay, the tiredness is what overwhelms me, but I guess that's a given when having 2 others to look after as well lol. Will you be finding out the sex with baby?

Hi everyone. I'm coming out of the woodwork to join in if that's OK. I've been reading since pretty much the beginning but have been too worried about everything to get properly involved. Due on 26th March and it's our first.

@motleymop ah glad to hear your feeling better. The first few weeks are the worst and then you can start to enjoy your pregnancy 😃 im feeling better too now, just the tiredness takes over, but I'm pregnant with baby number 3 & my other two are very active, so I guess its a given haha. No I didn't find out the sex for either of my others & won't be with this one. I love the surprise at the end. Will you?

Yes @HeatherSue - I think I'm going to. Partly because I want the reassurance of another scan before 20 weeks, but also because I'm just way too curious to wait to find out!
