I’m very early with this! I found out yesterday I’m pregnant, due 1st June.

Anyone else with me yet? Smile

@Kjadem im hoping for the 28 week rule too haha
Fingers crossed!!

ChasingARainbow · 03/10/2020 20:38

Has anyone used the clear blue digital tests to see how many weeks pregnant before their missed period date? Mines not due until Tuesday but have clear lines in a FRER so wondering weather to to it tomorrow morning.
I work in the NHS too and don't really want to say anything just yet as it's so early but probably need to to get a risk assessment as usually work with Covid positive patients.
Even more awkwardly I'm sure to start a new job early November with another Trust so that will be a difficult conversation Blush

Kjadem · 03/10/2020 21:00

@ChasingARainbowyes I did at 9DPO and it said 1-2 weeks! Ahh good luck, hope the conversation goes well.

Buttercup20 · 03/10/2020 21:03

@ChasingARainbow yup I done one on Monday and wasn't due until Thursday just past. It showed 1-2 weeks

GanderousGoose · 03/10/2020 21:03

Hi everyone - I'm 40 and currently v early at 3+5. AF due tomorrow. Feeling very anxious as had a CP in August - didn't even make it to AF - and also due to my age and weight, as I'm definitely overweight. Hardly dare to hope that this will be a sticky one. Congratulations to everyone!

GanderousGoose · 03/10/2020 21:04

Found out at 9dpo on Wednesday, 12dpo today...

ChasingARainbow · 03/10/2020 21:44

Thanks @Buttercup20 @Kjadem I'll do one tomorrow morning, after having 2 cp earlier this year I've never had any success with the digital ones the the lines I had were very fain where as this time they are a lot stinger earlier so keeping my fingers crossed this one sticks

Buttercup20 · 03/10/2020 21:57

@ChasingARainbow my fingers and toes are crossed for you xx

Humpty11 · 03/10/2020 21:58

@123feraverto, @Kjadem, @Happy2be I’m also a nurse and dreading the sickness!
Our trust has already started bringing staff back to non clinical settings from 28 weeks so time will tell what will happen for us!
I’ve just started a new post working towards my masters so a little bit worried about telling my manager but hoping to have completed the first year by the time mat leave comes (all being well!) 🤞🏼 Not sure how/when to tell her!

Humpty11 · 03/10/2020 22:01

@ChasingARainbow congratulations! Everything crossed for a beautiful result tomorrow 🤞🏼
I’ll be with you in spirit for your awkward conversation as I have mine with my manager!

Happy2be · 03/10/2020 22:12

@Humpty11oh have they? One of the girls in our place is going off soon when she hits 28 weeks.

@ChasingARainbowi tested 4 days before my period was due and it came back positive and then used clead blue the next day and had another 2 positive. Im roughly due 15th june

123feraverto · 03/10/2020 22:33

That's interesting that they're doing that, couple of people at my place are going off from 28 weeks - one in October and the other November I think

I'm sure there will be a lot of developments with covid policies

I have contacted my occupational health to ask them what the current procedures are I'll update you on what they come back with

GanderousGoose · 03/10/2020 22:42

@TheDaydreamBelievers tysm! Fingers massively crossed...

Madi6 · 04/10/2020 06:44

Hi everyone, congratulations on all the BFPs!!
I got mine on Friday and CB says I’m 2-3 but struggling to work out my due date as my periods were really unpredictable!
This will be our first and have no idea with all the appts etc! Xx

ChasingARainbow · 04/10/2020 06:46

Thanks @Humpty11, just tested and got 1-2 weeks which is what I thought Smile

Modip · 04/10/2020 07:48

@GanderousGoose lines look strong! Hoping for a sticky one for you x

piggie88 · 04/10/2020 11:24

I'm so glad a few of you work for the NHS, I'm an hca working with covid positive patients and I'm so unsure about what to do. A couple of people I work with have moved wards but I've been here for 10 years, working with the same people and to suddenly have to move really scares me. I also don't want to tell anyone I'm pregnant yet because I'm only 5 weeks and as I had a miscarriage last time I don't want to then have to tell people incase it happens again.

I also suddenly have no symptoms today, my boobs were quite sore but now they feel fine so I'm worrying about that too.

Kjadem · 04/10/2020 11:38

@piggie88 you might have to tell your manager especially if you work directly with covid patients. They might just have to allocate you to work with covid neg patients.. its worth protecting yourself even if people find out and if the worst happens then you have support at work? Hoping you don’t come into contact with any unknowingly! Its a horrible time isnt it

Kjadem · 04/10/2020 11:41

@piggie88 also, my symptoms were coming and going until I was about 5+3 and since then I’ve had constant nausea. Keeping my fingers crossed for you

curiouscat1987 · 04/10/2020 14:51

Something just occurred to me - how do you guys intend to arrange time off from work for appts etc if you havent told work about the reason yet?? Debating whether I should tell work now or when would be a good time!

Coffee4me · 04/10/2020 15:54

@curiouscat1987 at least I was able to book midwife appointments on the weekends, and for scans either book before or after work/ say have doctors appt (maybe doesn't work in current situation!) or even take a day off.

cd24x · 04/10/2020 18:08

@curiouscat1987 for my first midwife appt I've booked it for a day I was already taking annual leave. I know I'm entitled to time off for the appt but I dont want to tell my manager until after I've had my private scan, which is booked on the Saturday after. I'll only be telling her and HR if I need to that I'm pregnant before 12 weeks so I can have time off for my nhs scan. Everyone else at work will be told later.

toptreeroots1 · 04/10/2020 19:34

I'm feeling really worried tonight
4 plus 2 and my only symptom which was crampy twinges low down has gone today.
I've no bleeding so hoping the twinges was just everything settling into the lining and everything will be ok.

It's early days but this feels so different to my first pregnancy

Lauren28321 · 04/10/2020 20:02

Hi @toptreeroots1
I had cramps also the past few days which have seemed to have stopped today (4 plus 4). I think I may now have a UTI as needing to pee all the time! Going to call the docs tomorrow to get their opinion. Everything feels so strange and I’m questionable every little niggle (and even when there isn’t anything going on I’m worried!). I can completely sympathize. Sending lots of hugs x
