Hi all mind if I join? I’m due around 6th June, so only just found out and only just missed AF! This will be my first baby so nervously excited. I got a cb digital 1-2 pregnant on Weds 23rd. So early days!! Wishing everyone well!

wishfulthinking101 · 28/09/2020 13:57

Hello ladies,

Congratulations on everyone's BFPs!

I just found out today I am expecting! I haven't even told my husband as he is at work. Our first baby, we have been trying for 3 years so I know he will be super exited!

Finallybfp · 28/09/2020 13:59

This is my first baby also , I don’t really have any symptoms other then a very bloated looking belly and twinges in my lower stomach every now and then. I am very excited but also very anxious at the same time. Just want my first appointment with the midwife and I think it will help me to stop overthinking about everything. Good luck to everyone.

Finallybfp · 28/09/2020 14:02

Congratulations wishful thinking , I bet your husband will be over the moon when he here’s the news.

SarahTTC2020 · 28/09/2020 14:03

Ah welcome everyone ☺️ it's my first too and I'll be 33
@wishfulthinking101is this your first bfp in 3 years? Very exciting for you

Finallybfp · 28/09/2020 14:16

Does anyone else have the feeling they want to keep taking pregnancy tests as it doesn’t seem real. I’ve only took 3 pregnancy test sinse finding out nearly a week ago, I don’t want to get addicted to buying them. Any advice?x

wishfulthinking101 · 28/09/2020 14:45

Ah thank you ladies xx

Yes my first BFP in 3 years aswell... I can't stop staring at them, it's such a shock. ShockEven when I took the tests I put it down and left it thinking it would negative then came back and looked at it and burst out crying.

I can't wait to share and hear about everyone's journeys x

Maria050621 · 28/09/2020 14:50

Hi everyone,
I'm also 4+2 with a due date on the 5th June. Had a few positive tests and last Clear blue with Pregnant :) Its my first baby, so a lot of unknown. Tried to get hold my GP, but struggling to get through them. Will try again...

TheDaydreamBelievers · 28/09/2020 15:04

@Finallybfp I'm using a cheap one step every morning. You can get like 40 of them for very little money on Amazon

Finallybfp · 28/09/2020 15:26

@TheDaydreamBelievers, Thankyou , I might have a look . I didn’t want to become obsessed by taking tests but as I have to wait another 2 weeks before ringing the midwife back I might have to get some to keep my anxiety levels down.

Kjadem · 28/09/2020 15:33

@wishfulthinking101 thats so wonderful! My husband was also at work when I found out, I filmed his reaction when I told him - there were a few expletives!

cd24x · 28/09/2020 16:09

Hi everyone, I am 5+2 today and EDD is 29th May 2021 (so more than likely going to be a June baby!). Do you mind if I join? Most of the May 2021 group are much further along than I am so I'm a bit out of sync with them.

So far I've had constant sore boobs and some stretching sort of pains/aches. I am starting to get quite tired of an evening though.

Luckily I've been able to book in with midwife through my GP already, and my booking appointment is 19th Oct when I'll be 8+2. I've then booked in for a private early scan at 9 weeks exactly.

For those who are worried about testing too much, I tested with ICs at 10DPO, 12DPO, 14DPO, 19DPO and 21DPO. Then FRERs at 10DPO, 14DPO and 21DPO. Also a CB digital at 14DPO which showed 1-2 weeks. Got one of those left which I'm saving for Wednesday when it'll hopefully show 3+. I'm not obsessed with testing at all...Grin

PandemicBabyPlz · 28/09/2020 17:17

So lovely to hear from everyone. I keep getting paranoid because I’m sure I’ve got some very very light spotting when I wipe. I want to test again but I’ve only got the one cb digital left and agreed with hubby to leave it till end of this week. Ah... maybe I should sneak some cheapies in with some Amazon purchase lol. I used the last of my cheapies at the end of last week and they had only light lines still. Really want that unmistakable BFP type line...

TheDaydreamBelievers · 28/09/2020 17:30

Hey @cd24x I'm the same as you - DD 31st may and therefore the May Club folk are way further on!

@PandemicBabyPlz crossing my fingers for you but remember spotting is common in early pregnancy and may mean nothing at all

Finallybfp · 28/09/2020 17:47

It is a very nerve racking time waiting to been seen by a midwife to check that everything is growing the right way . My friend is due her baby in November and I remember right at the start when she found out she was taking 10+ preganancys tests, The morning before Her scans and midwife appointments and I didn’t understand how addictive it could be until I got my bfp last week. I think it’s only natural that as women exspecting we worry and want everything to run smoothly . Part of me is wishing I didn’t find out so early so I didn’t have this anxiety. Hope everyone is well .

TheDaydreamBelievers · 28/09/2020 17:59

Absolutely @Finallybfp - so long to wait from finding out. Esp as in NHS scotland the week 8 midwife appt is phone only so they dont even see you!

EmmyT2020 · 28/09/2020 18:01

Hi everyone. I got a positive test on Saturday 26th - Clear blue digital which said I was 3+ weeks. First pregnancy so very anxious - hoping everything goes ok. Rang midwives today and was told they will call within 2 weeks. I’m feeling very stressed though - I’m not good at waiting and just want to know everything is ok! Xx

Finallybfp · 28/09/2020 18:07

I Look forward to taking the same journey with you all , I agree with you @EmmyT2020, it is very stressful as you feel like your useless as all you can do is wait and hope everything is happening the way it should.

mummytooneprincess · 28/09/2020 22:22

Hey! Can I join? Got my bfp yesterday, 4+4 today. I have one daughter who will be 4.5 by my due date. I will call my gp in the next couple of weeks for a referral to the midwife. I'm a little apprehensive, I'm trying not to think about it too much for the time being!

Finallybfp · 29/09/2020 07:11

Welcome to the group @mummytooneprincess, I think we have the same due date as today I and 4weeks 5days. It’s coming up I’m due 3rd June 2021.
Good luck to everyone

Murphsxxx · 29/09/2020 07:43

Hope you all don’t mind if I join, I got my bfp last wednesday with a frer then confirmed with a clear blue saying 1-2 weeks on Friday, by the NHS due date calculator I think I’ll be due 3rd June 2021 Smile

ZAVMLB · 29/09/2020 11:41

Congratulations all!! The waiting is killing me. Feel like I cant focus on anything. Have to wait for 6 weeks to register and think I'm around 4 weeks now.

SarahTTC2020 · 29/09/2020 12:08

@ZAVMLBi feel the same, like it's too early to do anything except sit and worry that I'll start bleeding. Trying to keep distracted with work

ZAVMLB · 29/09/2020 14:13

Positive vibes and lots of distractions for us all!! And maybe a nap.. totally shattered.. anyone else?!
