@CC5321 Same thing happened to me! I was told in my letter and on the phone I couldn't have my partner there, but when we went to the appointment we chanced it and my husband came to reception with me, and they said partners are allowed into 12 and 20 week scans! And that's in Leicester too.

Hey ladies, been loving the flood of positivity and scan pics lately, it's honestly kept me going. Been a bit quiet as the anxiety has crept in on the lead up to my 12 week scan on Weds.

I'm so so sorry for the sad news received over the last few days. My heart goes out to you and reminds us that what we are carrying is so precious.

I've got more brown discharge today and a lot came out when i blew my nose (I don't think it was tissue) the discharge is more watery and a darker brown than yesterday should I call my gp?

I've just contacted my gp I hope they can get me a scan for today or something 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hello everyone, I have been following the chat for a while now and thought it’s time I say hello! I’ll be one of the last scans next Tuesday 22nd and my LMP shows due date of little April fools baby hope that’s still ok to join. This is my first baby with my partner of 10 years - so excited but nervous for the scan. Last few weeks I haven’t been getting many symptoms which has worried me but just trying to think positive for next week! Lovely to see all the scan photos on here!

@chloxhunt have you had your 12 week scan yet? Could be nothing, some people do just have random spotting. Hopefully they'll give you a scan and put your mind at ease.

The clinic where I have my scans at are now allowing husbands etc in.... At the end AFTER the scan 😂 What the hell is the point in that? I really don't see the point in my husband taking time out of work and driving 30min to walk in after a scan for 2 minutes!! If they are going to give you bad news I'd rather hear it there and then rather than sat there throughout the scan with a mute sonographer waiting for my husband to join afterwards to say "yeah xyz is wrong". It'll be the 20 week scan which takes much longer than 12 weeks, it'd make it worse not better. Either let them in for the scan or don't!!

They said they were happy with everything so I'm sure everything's okay but I'd rather be checked out so I'm 100% sure

@chloxhunt did you mention yesterday you had brown discharge that was about the same time as you'd usually get your period?

@LottieX yeah I did! But it's a lot darker in colour today and watery on Friday and yesterday it was thicker and looked more like a dirty discharge

Guess who’s back!! NIPT results are in and I’m low risk for all the syndromes.

There’s so many messages on the previous thread, I’ll pick up from here.

@holb54 yeah I hope so too! I've emailed them and they're usually good at responding but they might not think anything's wrong as i had a scan on Friday

Has anyone had their appointment date for 20 wk scan yet? When can we expect to get them? I'm a little confused as on my app they have booked me in for 28 week app but nothing before that.

@Sussexbysea I'm so, so glad for you! Terrifying time! Our NIPT came back too. Did you find out the sex? We were afraid because all our other embryos did so badly in the lab, I was thinking this one might've had an aneuploidy. We're having a boy! Did you find out? So lovely to see you back! x

@Phie04 I got my scan date the week after my 12 week scan. The hospital were really quick. Even got my 36 scan date. Im 14+4 and my scan is 26th October

@Phie04 I got mine the day of the 12 week scan, they asked what date suited and wrote it in the folder! I'm in Ireland so may be different

@holb54 @MrsJ89 perhaps my trust are behind on scheduling lol!
